I purchased a PlayStation 5 a month ago, and it was working fine for around a week and a half at home. When I moved to UCSD for the quarter, the console stopped turning on properly after a few days of use. The power light blinks blue but never fully powers on to display any video or audio. Despite contacting PlayStation support and trying various troubleshooting methods with no success, I have yet to receive the shipping box to send the PS5 in for repair. It has been frustrating to have a brand new console sitting useless for longer than I was able to enjoy it. At this point, I am disappointed with the lack of support and would like a replacement promptly given the amount spent on this console.

I've been experiencing issues with my PS4 Pro lately. Every online game I play starts lagging and glitching after a while, despite my internet connection working fine with other devices like my iPad and phone. Rebuilding the database and freeing up space haven't provided a lasting solution. Although rebuilding the database temporarily fixes the lag, the issue returns after a few days. This problem is new and has not occurred before. While my internet connection is wireless and I cannot switch to a wired connection, this setup has worked well for years. The lag and glitches worsen the longer I play, even after restarting the PS4. On March 26th, an unauthorized charge of $65.57 appeared on my statement with the card ending in [redacted]. My bank flagged it as fraud. I confirmed it was not me, leading to the cancellation of that card. On March 28th, a new alert showed a $31.99 attempted charge by PlayStation on the replacement card ending in [redacted], which I had not yet received. I have experienced similar issues before with V Bucks purchases for my son. I seek reimbursement for the $65.57 and request to remove the card on file. Approximately 20 hours ago, I was away for roughly 2 hours. Upon returning to play, I discovered I was logged out. After attempting to log back in, I was prompted to reset my password even though I had entered it incorrectly only once. Following the password reset, I was asked for a verification code from an authenticator app due to 2-step verification being enabled, which I was not aware of. Despite researching a solution online, I could only fix it through a device already logged into my account, which was not feasible since all devices were logged out after the password reset. After contacting support, I was told to seek help via live chat but encountered difficulties with Erika V., who abruptly ended the chat before I could read her message. I later learned I needed region-specific assistance but could not find support through live chat in the US. This frustrating experience has left me uncertain about the next steps to recover my account.

Yesterday evening, my son received a pornographic drawing from an online friend on his PlayStation network. I promptly reported the incident and blocked the sender from contacting my son. However, instead of suspending the sender responsible for the inappropriate content, my son's account (Colby1Killer25) was suspended for 30 days. This action blamed the victim, my son, for the situation, which is unjust. I personally handled the issue and ensured that my son did nothing wrong. I received an email confirming that the problem was being investigated, but the wrong account was suspended. My son's account should not be penalized for someone else's misconduct.

My son has created multiple accounts to play online games with me, his mom, and his sibling. Unfortunately, we have been experiencing difficulty accessing the games for the past few months. Specifically, with games like Minecraft, we used to play with our neighbors, but now we are unable to do so. Recently, the additional accounts have been locked out, and despite checking the settings for any issues, we discovered an unfamiliar account. Our attempts to remove this unknown user and designate my son's console as the primary account have been unsuccessful. The system indicates that his account is already set as the primary account on a different console, even though we only have one. We are seeking assistance to resolve this issue. I have been permanently banned from PlayStation for a minor offense. I am not disputing this, but I am seeking a way to have my ban lifted, even if it means a reduced ban length from one month to a year, or restricted communication privileges. I am eager to retrieve my account as I have invested countless hours and money into my games. I sincerely apologize for my actions and acknowledge the mistake I made. Hello, I am reaching out here because PlayStation has not been responsive, and their customer support has been unhelpful. I was unjustly banned for a month due to a situation orchestrated by a friend. He initiated a conflict in a different application, then brought it to our PlayStation group chat to frame myself and others for bans. Despite him sending inappropriate messages containing hate speech and false accusations, only my two-word reply led to my immediate ban. Despite reports against him, his account remains unaffected. The swift ban suggests an automated system, contradicting PlayStation's claim of thorough investigations. This automated moderation unfairly penalizes good players while letting troublemakers escape consequences. This flawed system risks losing many loyal players. PlayStation needs to differentiate between minor infractions and actual harmful behavior instead of penalizing sincere players. A frustrating situation, indeed.

I recently received an email notifying me about a login ID change and a charge of approximately $30 for purchases on the PS Store, including a FIFA item. I hadn't used my PS4 for a while, so when I turned it on today, I found myself signed out and needed to reset my password. Although I managed to regain access, my console was no longer the primary one on my account. I tried to reestablish it as the primary device, but I was informed that another console needed to be deactivated first. When attempting to deactivate all devices through my phone, I was unsuccessful as it seemed the hacker had already utilized this option. I was recently charged back, but during my vacation, I let my cousin play NBA2K21 using my account on my PS4. When I returned, I found myself logged out and suspended temporarily. It turns out my cousin got into an argument on NBA2K21, started using foul language in a group chat, and this led to the suspension. I value being a loyal PS fan and PS Plus subscriber, and I've previously learned my lesson during a prior 7-day suspension. I would never intentionally violate the community guidelines, especially after the incident that prompted a PS update following the suicide of a bullied PS network user. I have been overcharged on my credit card by your company. I removed the credit card from my account to prevent any further charges. When I added it back to purchase a year's subscription, I left my information on and you still charged me, despite emailing that you couldn't renew due to the removed card. I have been a loyal PlayStation Plus subscriber for 3 to 4 years consecutively. A few weeks ago, a full year's subscription was charged to my account without my consent. Despite contacting customer service the next day (as they are closed on Sundays), I was only informed that my 14-day free trial had expired, which is inaccurate as I have never had a free trial and have always paid annually. I had disabled auto-renew, however with each system update from PSN, this setting is reactivated, which I need to then manually turn off again. According to PSN's own policies, I am entitled to cancel and request a refund within 14 days of purchase, even if I have started using the subscription. I promptly requested a refund the day after being charged, but PSN refused. In response, I contacted my credit card company and after providing them with the necessary information and policy details, they confirmed the charge was unauthorized, resulting in a chargeback. Now, PSN has erroneously added the Plus subscription to my account, which I do not want or need, and has caused my account to be banned. This has prevented me from accessing my purchased games on my PlayStation 3 console, which I have owned for over 6 years prior to the introduction of PSN Plus. PSN needs to rectify this error and remove the Plus subscription from my account, restoring it to its previous free status. I have made significant investments in my PlayStation console and games, and this issue needs to be resolved promptly.

I have experienced ongoing harassment both in and out of party chats. After attempting to address this through PlayStation messages, I was wrongfully reported and permanently banned. I am seeking to have my ban lifted or converted to a temporary suspension, as it now prevents me from reporting the individuals responsible for their actions. I had intended to gather evidence such as video clips and screenshots to substantiate my harassment claims. As a loyal Sony and PlayStation fan since the PS3 era, it is distressing to lose access to an account and console that hold sentimental value, gifted by a late family member. My daughter's account got suspended because you said she needed a VR to play, but she doesn't even have one and hasn't played the game. I am experiencing an issue with the Persona 5 Royal email campaign. It seems that I should have received codes to unlock themes and avatars after earning specific trophies, within 14 days. Despite being opted into PlayStation email notifications, I have not received any emails containing the codes even after the designated time frame. I have meticulously checked my email but found nothing. The trophies I have earned are as follows: - Castle of Lust: Seized (Unlocked on December 6th) - Pyramid of Wrath: Plundered (Unlocked on December 12th) - The Thorough Trickster (Unlocked on December 19th) - The Phenomenal Phantom Thief (Unlocked on April 14th) I am unsure if the campaign is still active, as I have not received any communication regarding the themes and avatars. I am eager to obtain them but unable to find live support for assistance.

I am having trouble accessing my account. The system is not recognizing my identity or password even though they are correct. I received an email today stating that I requested a change of account information, which I did not. This issue occurred two months ago, and I have been unable to access my account since. When attempting to reset my account, it says my address is not valid, even though I have been using it for 15 years. My frustrations are growing as this is the third time my account has been compromised. Due to the weekend, it takes three days for your services to restore my account on Monday, causing me to miss out on paid subscriptions.
