My account was suspended due to a chargeback that was caused by a hack on my account. I already got the refund from the bank, but now my account is suspended because they think I'm up to suspicious activity due to the hack. They do not give you anywhere to talk to a live person about this, the only live representative is for technical support, not account support, so even if you manage to get them on the phone, they send you back to the website, which does not have a place that can help you. In order to get your account reinstated, you MUST pay them back the amount of money which the hacker spent on your account and you got refunded from the bank on fraud charge. This is already ludicrous enough on its own, but they notoriously do not care what the explanation for the chargeback was, they just want the payment back. This is money that I do not have to spend and never did, but I accepted that I clearly must do this in order to get my account back. The only resource they give you on the website is either going in circles through links that takes you nowhere, or filling out a form to request account reinstatement, but on this form one of the fields you must fill out is that of your Playstation Online ID, which I do not know. The only way to find out what your online ID is, is to sign into your account and look at the information in the Account Details, but I cannot sign into my account anywhere to view that information because it is suspended and therefore inaccessible. The tech support representative on the phone said to go online to use that automated chat bot to help, but the bot only wants to change your password, which I already did and do not want to do again and again. However, even if I were to go through the motions of changing my password (another step being forced upon me that I have no desire to do), the bot does not recognize my account information when I put it in. The bot asks for my online ID (just stated that I do not know what it is), and the email associated with the account. It gives you a statement that if you don't have an online ID, you can leave that field blank. So I do, and I put in my email associated with the account only. It says it does not recognize my account. The email is ***% spelled correctly and is the only email I have associated with the account. There is literally no way for me to fix this issue. Every single path is blocked. The only path to get to a live rep that can help is through the automated chat bot, which does not allow me to get past the initial prompt to change my password.
