Later, I found out he scammed me when I couldn't access my PlayStation account. His scam was discovered on a Saturday. My PS4 account was banned, which resulted in the loss of all my game saves and licenses. Despite only messaging my friends without any inappropriate content, my account was first banned for two months. During this time, I refrained from playing or interacting on the platform. The ban occurred even though I did not engage in any gaming or messaging activities. As a long-time Sony customer who has made significant purchases on games, in-game items, and PlayStation Plus subscriptions, I kindly request to be unbanned.

Hello, I've been attempting to play Hunt Showdown and Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 on my PS4, but I keep encountering an Application Version 1.16 update that fails to download. The download process continuously restarts, preventing me from playing either game (both are on disc), despite having the latest firmware (Version 8.03) installed. I've tried various troubleshooting steps like restarting the PS4, unplugging it for 5 minutes, and deleting and reinstalling the games on the hard drive, but none have resolved the issue. Last night during a game, we played against another team and a kid messaged me with hurtful comments, suggesting I harm myself. Suicide is a sensitive topic for me, being 41 years old. I don't engage in trash talk and don't appreciate receiving it. When I responded to the kid, I might have been a bit harsh due to the emotional topic. However, I was surprised to find myself banned from the pro league 2K league where I am a coach. If the ban isn't lifted, I risk losing my coaching position. It's frustrating because I feel like the other player was the one provoking the situation.

I recently had an interaction with another player during a game where we exchanged banter. Unfortunately, the conversation escalated, leading to some disrespectful remarks from both sides. I understand that my final message may have crossed a line, but I believe a 30-day suspension is too severe for the situation. While I agree with the company's terms of service regarding hate speech and targeting specific groups, I do not believe my actions fell under that category. I am frustrated as I am unable to access games I have paid for due to this suspension.

I would like to inquire about the recent charges posted to my card within the past week. On 1.27.21, the following charges were pending: $1.50, $79.99, and $59.99 (1 year subscription, which I acknowledge). On 1.26.21, there was a charge of $9.98 that was a recurring payment already canceled through PlayStation in December. Additionally, there was a $39.99 charge that I am unsure about. I request detailed information about each charge to be sent to my email for clarity. Lastly, on 1.25.21, there was a charge of $18.74, which seems unusual, and I am uncertain of its nature. I would appreciate better communication regarding these charges, as a similar situation occurred last year, and I need assurance whether these charges are legitimate for a renewal or potential fraudulent activity.

My account got suspended after experiencing a chargeback due to a hack. Despite receiving a refund from the bank, my account still remains suspended under suspicion of fraudulent activity related to the hack. Unfortunately, there is no direct way to speak with a live person regarding this issue. The only available live representatives are for technical support, not account support. Even through the phone, they redirect you back to the website, which lacks the necessary resources for assistance. To reinstate my account, I am required to repay the amount spent by the hacker, which was refunded by the bank due to the fraudulent charge. Despite explaining the chargeback, they insist on repayment without consideration. I don’t have the funds to cover this expense, but I understand it is necessary to regain access to my account. The website offers limited help options, leading users in circles or prompting them to fill out a reinstatement form. Regrettably, one of the mandatory fields on the form is the PlayStation Online ID, which I do not know. Accessing account details to obtain this information is impossible as my account is suspended. The tech support advised using the automated chat bot online, but it solely focuses on password changes which I have already completed. Despite providing my email associated with the account, the bot fails to recognize my account. Omitting the online ID as instructed also does not resolve the issue. Every attempt to resolve this problem hits a dead-end, leaving me with no viable solutions in sight.

For something that was supposed to arrive between 3 and 6 days, it has been 2 and a half months of waiting. A goodwill gesture would be welcome, maybe a game like Cyberpunk or COD Cold War :) Thank you.

Hello, I have a small issue that I need help with. I will be brief. About a year ago, I created a PlayStation account for my sister. Recently, I added a credit card to her account to activate a 14-day PS Plus trial and turned off auto-renew. Everything was fine until I forgot the password for her PSN account. On Thursday, January 28th, [redacted], I renewed my PlayStation Plus subscription to play Call of Duty, which I downloaded a few weeks ago. However, when I tried to play multiplayer, I was prompted to purchase PS Plus. After attempting to buy it and encountering issues with my debit card, I verified sufficient funds in my account. I noticed £49.99 had been deducted, but my PlayStation Plus was still inactive after restarting the console. Despite researching online, I couldn't find a solution. I contacted Halifax Customer Service, who suggested reaching out to PlayStation support. I am frustrated as I've never had issues renewing my subscription in the past. Hello! A few months ago, I encountered an issue with my PlayStation account where the two-step authentication was enabled without my authorization. Suddenly, I was required to enter a code from an authenticator app whenever I tried to sign in to PSN. I tried using various apps, but the codes were always invalid. Subsequently, I reached out to PlayStation support via email to explain my problem. They responded by providing me with a number to call and asked me to prepare some information in advance for identification purposes (serial number, recent purchases with dates & exact prices) to verify ownership of my PlayStation. I gathered and noted down the required details, and since then, I have been attempting to reach someone via phone, but the line has been busy every time I called, regardless of the time. I even tried with a friend, but that also proved unsuccessful. I hope you can assist me as I am unable to access several online games, which I have spent a significant amount of money on. I was in a group with adults when someone invited kids, which was not appropriate since I was sharing adult memes. The meme referenced gender differences in armor in Skyrim, meant for adult humor. I made a joke about armor not protecting against arrows, but it was misconstrued by the 14 to 16-year-old kids in the group. I have been banned for half a month unfairly. My account is restricted until the 16th. I assure you that I will not share adult memes again. I am 31 years old and would never knowingly expose minors to inappropriate content. Kindly lift the ban on my account.

I believe my PlayStation account was banned due to inappropriate language used in messages. However, it was not me who sent them but my cousin. I allowed my cousin, who rarely visits, to play my system while I watched. During a game of Rainbow Six Siege, he became upset with a teammate and sent messages that led to the ban. I was not aware of the ban policy regarding language. Unfortunately, my account is now banned for 7 days, preventing me from purchasing the new game, "Outriders." I recently received an email notifying me that my online ID has been changed, although I did not make this change. When I clicked the link provided to address the issue, it prompted me to enter my email to receive a link for resolution, but I never received the email with the link. Despite multiple attempts over the past three days, I have not received any emails, ensuring that my email is entered correctly each time. Attempts to contact PlayStation support over the phone have been unsuccessful as they were too busy to take my call. Visiting PlayStation's website only leads me to the same email link request without receiving a follow-up email. Messages sent through Instagram have also gone unanswered. I am eager to have this matter resolved promptly, as I am a PlayStation Plus subscriber and wish to utilize the service I have paid for. If I cannot access the product, I would seek a refund for PlayStation Plus, the PlayStation 4, and games purchased. While providing my email in the comments below, I am concerned about the lack of response thus far and contemplate switching to Xbox if the issue remains unresolved. On the 12th of January [redacted], $[redacted] was transferred from my checking account to my PlayStation wallet without my authorization, raising significant concern for me. What troubled me even more was the fact that on the 1st of February [redacted], all that money was utilized to purchase Fortnite V-Bucks. I do not play Fortnite nor have it installed on my PlayStation anymore. Due to the inadequate customer support from PlayStation, I reached out directly to my bank regarding this unauthorized transaction. I am aware that once the bank reverses the purchase, my PlayStation account might face a ban because the V-Bucks purchase has already been processed. I want to emphasize that I did not add $[redacted] to my PlayStation wallet nor did I buy $[redacted] worth of V-Bucks. I am uncertain as to who made this purchase, as I doubt it is someone known to me. I am the only person with access to my login details, and I have only ever logged into my account on my PlayStation 4. I've been trying to get Call of Duty: Modern Warfare for my PSN. At first, I thought purchasing item [redacted]74 would grant me access to it. However, it did not. Then, I bought item [redacted]01, thinking it was the complete package including Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Cold War. Even though it says Modern Warfare, it does not download. My friend had to switch to Cold War to join me. All I want is for it to work. I've paid $[redacted].99 + $26.99 and still can't access Modern Warfare. If this can't be resolved, I would like a full refund. I really want the program to work. I also purchased a 4TB external HDD from Best Buy labeled for the PlayStation, but I can't seem to get it to work.
