I attempted to purchase Cuphead on the PlayStation Store, but as I was finalizing the transaction, I encountered an error with the code "ws-[redacted]-3." I attempted to research this code on the PlayStation website to no avail. I tried two separate payment methods and even attempted to add funds, all without success. I also tried to buy the game through the PlayStation Store website, but faced the same issue. I would appreciate any assistance as I am unsure of what else to try.

I regret to admit that I may have said a couple of inappropriate things to another individual on my PSN account through messages after experiencing bullying due to my Canadian identity by two users using voice chat during a game. Following this, upon being defeated in the game, I received threats from five other individuals, including the game server host, who threatened to globally ban me. I recently purchased the game from the PlayStation Store for a total of $70, including a one-year online subscription for $70, and to my surprise, my account has been suspended. I have been using this account since [redacted] when I was 8 years old, and I am deeply concerned as I am unable to access games I purchased on my PS3. I believe a refund should be considered due to the circumstances. This situation is a misunderstanding, and I urge for a fair resolution as losing access to my account after 12 years of use is distressing.

I have noticed unauthorized charges on my account, possibly resulting from my 15-year-old son or someone gaining access to my credit card details. My son had received a gift card unbeknownst to me and struggled to use it, attempting the wrong pin multiple times before it worked. I suspect some of these attempts may have been charged to my credit card. For instance, on 7/21, there were multiple charges of $99.99, totaling six in a single day, which I only discovered several days later. Additionally, I suspect several other unknown purchases dating back to May. My son, who has mental health issues and ADHD, might be involved. There are thousands of dollars charged, and I am uncertain if it was him or if someone hacked my information. I plan to visit the bank tomorrow to seek assistance in tracking these transactions.

Hello! I'm Sandija from Latvia. I created an account in the UK store and play on a PS4 Pro, but I haven't purchased any games for money, just the free ones. Recently, I tried the PS Now trial for seven days, downloaded some games, and played a bit. The trial was set to expire on August 13th without any penalties. While playing a game my boyfriend bought (Division 2) on his account, we encountered error code WS-[redacted]-7, related to a purchase reversal. I used a credit card for the subscription and disabled auto-renewal right after purchasing PS Now and downloading some games. My account and my sons' accounts got banned for mistakenly using my girlfriend's credit card without her knowledge. Despite reimbursing her promptly, our accounts were flagged weeks later during an attempt to log in for a game of Fortnite together, citing a reverse payment issue. This was frustrating as we were not given a chance to clarify the situation before the bans. Given the significant investment made into our PlayStation accounts, it would have been appreciated if we were contacted to settle the outstanding amount before the bans were imposed. Unfortunately, reaching a representative by phone has been challenging, and the website navigation has been unfruitful. Amid the current restrictions due to Covid-19, our entertainment options have been limited as a result of the frozen accounts. I am eager to clear the dues to reinstate all three accounts. I gave my grandson permission to use my debit card on PlayStation. Unfortunately, someone hacked his account and made over $[redacted] in unauthorized charges on my card. My grandson, who is 12 years old, has been communicating with PlayStation to try to resolve the issue and get the money refunded. However, since he is underage, they will only speak to the account holder. I have reviewed my bank statements and found multiple unauthorized charges from 6/13/20 to 7/11/20. I tried reaching out to PlayStation, but their Covid-19 message states they are closed and directs you to a support robot that doesn't address my problem. On the 14th of this month, I purchased a 3-month Playstation Plus pass and the free Smite game featuring all gods for $49.89. The trouble began when I tried to add funds to my wallet and received the error code WC-[redacted]-1 multiple times. I followed all the suggestions on the PlayStation help and support website, including creating a new account and trying to use gift cards, but the issue persisted. I have confirmed with my bank that there are no issues on their end. The error message indicates that the funds cannot be added due to potentially exceeding the maximum amount, despite my account and Playstation Plus status showing $0.00. It seems there might be a miscalculation on the PlayStation side causing this confusion and inconvenience.

My nephew is unable to access his PSN account because he has lost his email and password. His gamer ID is king_Arthur_5218. I have tried contacting support, but I keep getting cut off as they require an email, name, and gamer ID. When I use my email, they shut down the chat because it's not linked to the account. We have all his private information, including PayPal transaction details. Unfortunately, PlayStation only offers live chat support now, and I can't explain the situation over the phone to provide private information. Hello, my account is OptionalSGT under my full name. Recently, someone accessed my account through PS4. I noticed this because I kept getting logged out and prompted to connect a controller. The password was changed at 2:29 pm on August 11, followed by a change in the sign-in ID four minutes later. I struggled to find a way to reach out as the emails directed me to the website where I felt lost, and the provided phone number was unresponsive. Eventually, I managed to contact the person through another email, using the fake name Sseeyaalaa tteerrkkiidd as bait. This individual claimed to have purchased the account and demanded $[redacted] for its return, mentioning cheats. During the conversation, he challenged me to a 1v1 in Fortnite. While I didn't decline outright, I didn't agree either. All I want is to enjoy playing Castle Crashers again. I'm helping my brother, the actual account owner, with this message due to his slow typing and limited vocabulary.

This morning, when I logged into my account, I discovered that Two-Step Verification (2SV) had been activated without my knowledge. I attempted to log in, but it requested a code sent to a number that is unfamiliar to me because I never added it. Although I did receive an email about the two-step verification, there was no option to notify PS that it wasn't me who enabled it. Subsequently, I managed to reset my password and utilized my date of birth (DOB) for verification. Consequently, I got logged out from all my devices (phone and web). I have reached out to AskPlaystation via Twitter about my problem, but I haven't received a response yet. I also tried to recover my account through email, but nothing is progressing without a code. Even accessing the backup codes is impossible without a verification code. I have screenshots of the emails and the last four digits of the number.

My son used his school Chromebook to redeem a V-Buck gift card on Epic Games' website, epicgames.com/fortnite/en-US/redeem, and my credit card got charged twice, $79.99 and $12.74. The order numbers are #[redacted]87 and #[redacted]87. I have set up passwords on this account, so I'm surprised it was able to bill me without my credit card number or PlayStation password. I am requesting a full refund and for any items purchased with the money to be removed. My son will face consequences for trying to use "free item codes" shared by another player. My nephew's PlayStation was set up by a friend under his name, not my nephew's. I have my credit card linked to the PlayStation through PayPal and yesterday it was charged 27 times by PlayStation. My nephew insists he didn't make these charges and believes it may be the person, Gavin, who originally set up the PlayStation. Our account was hacked during gameplay, and the account name has been changed to Abdurhman Mo. We have reached out to PlayStation multiple times but keep getting the same unhelpful responses. They are refusing to address the issue and simply suggest creating a new account, which is unacceptable. The sensitive bank information and personal details associated with the compromised account pose a significant security risk. We have already lost our subscription, purchased games, and had to cancel bank cards. We urgently need the account to be permanently deleted. If not resolved promptly, we will be escalating the matter to Consumer Affairs and BBB, and taking legal action against PlayStation and its affiliates for the security breach, loss of personal information, and reimbursement of all affected purchases and damages.
