While playing 2k20 with my friends, I experienced multiple sign-outs and later received emails notifying me of unauthorized changes to my PS4 account. Concerned, I attempted to regain access but then received another email stating that my password had been altered. Feeling anxious, I tried reaching out to PS4 customer support but was unable to connect. Ultimately, I was logged out for good at 1:03 AM. Reflecting on recent events, I recalled reporting an incident of inappropriate language around 3 PM, considering this as a possible reason for the account issues. However, the timing did not align, leading me to suspect a hack. I am seeking assistance in recovering my account.

My PSN/PS4 account seems to have been compromised. Today, at approximately 10:30 am CST, I received four emails showing transactions of $60 each for "funds added." Although I rarely use my PS4 now, when I tried to use my debit card later in the evening, I discovered my bank had frozen it due to suspicious activities. Upon trying to log into my PSN account, I discovered it was banned (WS-[redacted]-7). I also received emails indicating purchases of various games and the creation of a child account, despite not having children. I am concerned about the time and money I have invested in my account and would appreciate any assistance in resolving this issue. Hello, I recently acquired a pre-owned PS3 without controllers. I was told I could use a PS4 controller with the PS3, so I purchased one without cables. I attempted to connect the PS4 controller to the PS3 using a USB cable I had at home. The controller flashes orange slowly and then rapidly with white lights when I press the PS button. Unfortunately, the PS3 does not recognize the controller when I try to use it. I'm unsure if the issue lies with the USB cable compatibility, a malfunctioning controller, or possibly a problem with the PS3 itself. The initial screen on the PS3 displays the previous owner's login information, and I am looking to set up my own account. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you.

Calling *-***-***-**** yielded no response due to Covid-19 limitations, only directing me back online to generate case numbers, leading back to the same unresponsive phone number. Realizing I had a limited window for refunds per PlayStation policies, I opted for a bank investigation to retrieve my funds successfully. However, to my dismay, I received an email this morning stating that my account was suspended for a chargeback violation, even though I believe I handled the situation appropriately given the strict refund timeline. I'm now unable to contact them to address this issue, hindering my online gameplay.

My son's account got banned because a $9.99 charge we didn't authorize was stopped, resulting in the renewal fee being charged without consent. We never permitted this charge. My sons use a prepaid card, not a credit card, but it was accidentally linked. Despite paying for the renewal to avoid disruption, the $9.99 charge prompted us to instruct the credit card company not to accept further charges. As the account owner, I must approve all charges. It's crucial that no unauthorized charges occur. We've tried contacting customer service via phone and live chat using my son's details, but we can't get through. A discussion with a representative is preferred to resolve this matter promptly.

My PS4 account has been locked due to suspicious activity, possibly related to malware in the email associated with my Sony account. When I try to sign in, it prompts me to reset my password. The issue is that the linked email, which I typically use for password resets, was locked by Microsoft (hotmail.com) due to what I suspect is the same malware problem. Without access to this email, I cannot verify my identity or change the password. I want to update the email address linked to my PS4 account so I can regain access, but this is currently impossible due to the locked email. I have all necessary information to verify my ownership of the account, such as the last purchase and PS4 serial number, and I just need assistance from a real person to resolve this.

Hello support team, I am experiencing difficulty accessing YouTube on my PS4 using the email address [redacted] I primarily bought the PS4 for my children and do not use it for gaming. Unfortunately, I am unable to reset my password as all support options require a user ID that I don't recall setting up. I prefer not to use personal information due to concerns about a previous PlayStation hack. I tried to reset using the email address [redacted], which I thought was associated with my account. Although I was able to change the email address, upon logging back into the PS4, I was prompted to update my profile information. When I attempted to bypass this step and access YouTube, it indicated I was using a different account. I am unsure how to recover my YouTube account, which contains all my subscriptions and watch history.

I am concerned because my grandson, who is 12 years old, used my debit card on PlayStation, and an unauthorized person made over $[redacted] in charges on my card through his hacked account. Even though he has been trying to resolve this issue and get the money reimbursed, PlayStation will only speak to the account holder, which is me. Dear Sony, I would like to bring to your attention the recent interactions I have had on PlayStation. In the past month, my communication with other users, particularly in games like NBA 2K20 and Modern Warfare, has been respectful unless provoked. While most conflicts were resolved appropriately, I have encountered instances where other users have used offensive and racist language towards me and my friends without facing consequences. One specific user, "Jlukesmith", directed such language towards my friend, yet he did not receive any punishment. I bought a year of PSN for my son's PS4 as a birthday present in May. I didn't realize our satellite-based internet wasn't fast enough for it. I have Viasat and have been trying to fix it for months with no success. My son can't play online as he wanted. I can't get faster internet. I just want a refund and to cancel the PSN so I can get him something else. It's unfair not being able to use the service. Customer support is closed due to covid, and the chat bot doesn't help.

I initially set up my PlayStation 4 account using my school email, which has been deleted since I graduated. Now, I am locked out of my account because of the missing email and am unable to recover it without the password. I recently purchased a significant number of game downloads that I can no longer access. Unfortunately, I cannot afford to repurchase these games. Hello, I returned home from work last Thursday and attempted to play Warzone on my PS4, only to find out I wasn't connected to PSN. I tried to change my password after realizing it wasn't working. Upon checking my email for the password reset link, I discovered another email sent 2 hours earlier confirming that my password had been changed and 2-factor verification set up. Now, when trying to reset my password, the code is said to be sent to my phone, but I never receive it. Despite contacting PlayStation support, they were unable to assist due to a lost card associated with the account and not using the original PlayStation the account was created on. They requested the serial number of the original PlayStation, leaving me locked out of my account. I would greatly appreciate any help in getting access back to my account. Thank you, Turmaccas.

My account was hacked by a friend who has access on his PlayStation 4 and switched my zip code to the Bronx, while I actually live in Brooklyn [redacted]. They sent messages to others from my account, causing me to get banned. When I regain control of my account, I won't be sharing my password with anyone again. I spent money on those games and now I can't access them. I feel betrayed and hurt by this situation.

I logged into my PlayStation account and was shocked to find out that I have been banned for allegedly sending a malicious URL. I only use the PlayStation app to send text messages and never engage in any suspicious activities. I suspect my account might have been compromised by someone from the game For Honor, which is the only multiplayer game I play. This situation is incredibly frustrating, especially considering I am a 35-year-old man with a family and have no intention of causing harm to anyone. I hope this issue gets resolved promptly.

When attempting to log into my PSN account, I was surprised to find out I had been banned. After checking my email, I discovered that my account was suspended for allegedly sending a malicious URL. I primarily use the PlayStation app for sending text messages only. I strongly believe my account may have been compromised by someone from For Honor, the only multiplayer game I play. One of my friends on PlayStation 4 sent a disturbing image to another friend a while back, causing tension between them. The recipient has reported the image, leading to consequences for the sender. In response, the sender has falsely accused me, leading to me being warned. The image in question was an edited screenshot from Red Dead Redemption 2, which was shared as a joke. The recipient is not offended by it, as he holds racist views aligned with KKK ideologies. I have attempted to reach out to PlayStation support with no success.

Some time ago, my PlayStation was stolen, and I recall noticing suspicious activity on my account. Although it's been a while, I recently purchased a new one and am having trouble logging in due to the two-step verification. The problem is that it is linked to my old phone number, [redacted]. On August 7, [redacted], at 7:19 a.m., my stepfather's account was hacked, along with my PlayStation 4 account. I only know the person responsible through his Instagram, "a7.li6," named Ali. He admitted to buying the accounts from an Arabic website called ms6ool.com. When I asked for my accounts back, he made inappropriate demands. I blocked him, but my PS4 account was changed to FTKSS707 (A l i), though my background image remains. He altered my PSN email, leaving me locked out. Despite contacting Sony twice with no resolution, I am requesting help to ban the website and regain access to my account. I have evidence in screenshots if needed. I aim to resolve this quickly and am prepared to provide the necessary information promptly.

I was unexpectedly suspended from the PlayStation Network on 8/02/[redacted] for 30 days, and I am unsure why this happened. I was away all weekend, and just before returning home, I received an email notifying me of the temporary suspension. I attempted to reach out to PlayStation customer service via phone, but unfortunately, no one answered. I then tried the live chat option, but I only interacted with a bot and did not receive any assistance.
