My account was compromised by someone in a foreign country, and even though I was able to change my password and set up two-factor authentication, they managed to deactivate all PlayStation systems and set their PS4 as the primary console. Now I have to wait 6 months to make changes. I would provide any necessary information to verify my identity. I just want to set my PS4 as the primary console to prevent them from accessing my paid digital content. Thank you in advance for your help with this matter.

I've had trouble accessing my PS4 account due to forgetting my password after not logging in for a while. Despite multiple login attempts, I couldn't recall the password which included a punctuation mark requirement. When I finally remembered it, the account got blocked due to the failed attempts. Resetting the password now requires my date of birth, but my brother set up the account and I don't know which date he used. As a result, I'm unable to reset my password, and I'm stuck.

Hello, I suspect my PS4 account has been compromised. The hacker deactivated my current PS4. I've changed my passwords and enabled 2-step verification. However, upon logging in, it indicates another PS4 is using my account. The "Deactivate All Devices" option is inaccessible as it requires a 6-month wait time following prior use. I was incarcerated from July 30, [redacted], until July 2, [redacted]. When I tried to log in to my account, I received an error message with the code WS-[redacted]-7 stating that I have been banned due to a payment issue. I was unable to manage my account while serving my sentence, and now I need assistance to regain access. I am seeking assistance with canceling my 3-month PSN Plus subscription. I am facing difficulties performing this task on my PC as my account is associated with my old email, [redacted] I believe this connection is preventing me from accessing my account remotely. I bought a $50 PlayStation 4 gift card for my grandson. Unfortunately, the code got scratched off while trying to reveal it. I've been attempting to contact PlayStation for assistance, but have had no luck reaching anybody. The phone number seems to go unanswered due to a lack of available staff. I am hesitant to pay for someone to help me as I believe that should not be necessary. I am hoping to figure out how to get a refund for the gift card.

Hi, my name is Cameron. I recently encountered a serious problem with my PlayStation's system software, forcing me to reset it and lose all my data. However, upon trying to log back in, I'm facing frustrating issues. The system does not recognize my password that I haven't changed in years. Last week, on July 2nd, I received a permanent ban from the PlayStation Network. I now understand the reason for the suspension. Regrettably, I admit to making immature decisions due to my young age and struggles with anger management. At times, I vented frustration by messaging other players out of anger, only to regret my actions afterward. On the day I was banned, I took the time to thoroughly read the rules and acknowledge my mistakes. My main request is to be reinstated, recognizing that the ban was decisively imposed. I am committed to improving my behavior. Moreover, I have invested a significant amount of money and all my games are associated with that account, leaving me with limited entertainment options during the current COVID-19 situation. I recently discovered that my PS4 has been banned. I've been in the hospital for about two months battling COVID-19 and I haven't been able to use my console. When I finally tried, I realized my brother had used a friend's account on my PS4 on 7/8/[redacted]. I'm feeling frustrated as I didn't intentionally violate any rules. My PS4 serial number is 03-[redacted]5-[redacted], and my online ID is Zc00l-_-SaDaM. I've never had an issue like this before, and I hope you understand this was a mistake. My brother is only 5 years old and didn't know he was breaking any rules. I would really appreciate it if someone could help me resolve this situation.

My girlfriend and I recently bought PlayStation Plus to play Minecraft together. I use the PC version of Minecraft Bedrock Edition, while she plays on PS4. However, when we tried to link a Microsoft account to Minecraft, we got an error saying the account was already linked to a PlayStation account. We tried with four different Microsoft accounts, none of which were ever used on a PlayStation. This was the main reason we got another copy of Minecraft and a PlayStation Plus membership. My son has a PS4 and was playing Fortnite when someone he played with hacked his account, making it impossible for him to log in. This happened after he met the person on Instagram, where we obtained their IP address, [redacted].89.51.44. Despite multiple attempts to reset the password and receive the email at the associated email address ([redacted]), no email has come through. I even changed the password for the Gmail account but still can't access the PS4 account. I'm not very knowledgeable about these things, and even the kids tried to assist me to no avail. I am unable to reach the call center as it states it is closed. I require urgent assistance with my account issue. Due to a hack, I have lost access to my original account, preventing me from accessing purchased games. Despite creating a new account, the problem persists, leaving me with two accounts linked to my email. I possess both online IDs and seek support to regain access to my original account for game access and personal information. If this cannot be resolved, I must request a refund for all games bought through the PlayStation store. Thank you for your help.

I'm having trouble activating my PS4 as the primary account. I've tried everything from changing my email and password to deactivating all devices, but my PS4 still won't set as primary. I've even tried accessing the Sony website, but got shut down. This is a significant issue that needs to be addressed promptly. If a company sells digital products but their main system cannot be accessed, it creates a huge problem for customers like me. I recently tried to log in to my account and found it locked. Due to my role as a grocery store manager during the pandemic, I haven't accessed it in a while. I'm eager to verify my identity and regain access to the approximately 60 video games I've purchased over the years. Since I've owned the system since the release day of the PS4, I mainly bought digital games to avoid losing them, but now I am unable to access any. The email linked to the account is from my university days and is inactive, making it challenging to prove my identity. I'd like to update the email or verify myself through payment methods or the serial and model numbers of my PS4. Communicating with a human to address this matter has been incredibly frustrating. I am Lois Sullens, a 78-year-old trying to support my great-grandson, Hadleigh Brenwald, solely on my retirement income. Unfortunately, I am unable to pay the $[redacted].38 charged to PlayStation without my consent. My great-grandson, who is only 11 years old, made three unauthorized charges on my account - $[redacted].94, $[redacted].81, and the latest one for $[redacted].63. I reached out to support.playstation.com, but I was limited in explaining my situation and received I.D.#[redacted]. I urge the company to consider how a child could make such high charges and kindly request a refund as I am financially struggling. Your help in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated. I have noticed multiple charges on my PlayStation account that I do not understand. I bought a game pack expecting it to cover everything for a year, but I have been getting additional monthly charges since May [redacted]. There are various amounts being deducted, and I am unsure what they are for. I have also noticed unauthorized Google transactions with random amounts. I am reaching out for clarification on these charges and to request refunds for any unauthorized ones. I recently discovered fraudulent charges on my credit card from PSN. After resolving the issue with my credit card company, I received a reversal of the charges. However, when I attempted to log into PSN, I found my account permanently banned with error code WS-[redacted]-7. I am eager to regain access to my account as soon as possible. My PSN username is Wilburr97. I am aware that PlayStation may require the serial number of the original console, but as I have upgraded to a PS4 pro, this may complicate the process. I have tried contacting customer support, but due to the current situation with COVID-19, their call centers are closed, and chat support is unavailable to un-ban my account. This situation is frustrating, and I am considering switching to Microsoft if the issue persists.

My Playstation Network account was hacked and subsequently banned without receiving any email or notification. Upon logging in, it displayed a ban notice for violations. Someone gained access to my account, used the credit card linked to it to purchase six games. I suspect this individual might be responsible for the ban. I have since canceled the card, changed my password, and removed the credit card from the account. The culprit left their email on the account, which I have documented. Despite contacting Playstation Network, the representative I spoke to was dismissive, claiming my account was not hacked. I have captured a screenshot as evidence. How can I go about recovering my account?

On December 11, [redacted], I made several adjustments to my PlayStation account to prevent my ex-girlfriend from accessing it with a PS4 she took when she left. Among these changes, I set up 2-step verification. Since then, I have changed my phone number. I recently bought a new PlayStation and am now locked out of my account that I've had since the PS3 era, possibly even earlier. I purchased Red Dead Redemption 2 just before the December [redacted] events, and I can't reach my digital game collection due to the access issue. Hi there, my name's Avi Hari. I've had my PSVR for a year now. Earlier today while playing, I left it on pause to quickly step away, but upon returning, it wasn't functioning properly. The lights showed as they should, but the headset screen remains black. I've been really careful with it and have updated all the software, but it just stopped working out of the blue.
