Subject: Assistance Needed with PSN Account Issues Dear Playstation Customer Service, I recently encountered some errors with my son Aria Jahangiri's PSN account on my credit cards, mistakenly reporting charges as unauthorized to Chase Bank. The charges were for PSN access and amounted to $5.00 and $20.00 with the last 4 digits of [redacted] and [redacted], respectively. As a result, the account and games purchased by my son were cancelled by PSN, including "Call of Duty Modern Warfare" and "Minecraft." My son has since created a new account under the name "simptgrinch" with the card ending in [redacted]. I kindly request assistance in restoring the aforementioned games to his new account. Please contact me at [redacted] or reply to this email for any further clarification needed. I apologize for the confusion and appreciate your help in resolving this matter promptly. Best Regards, Jay Jahangiri

I have two PlayStation accounts: one for myself and another managed by an adult with PlayStation Plus. The account with Plus was hacked, and money was taken. Strange messages were received on the PlayStation messages. Now, I can't activate the account with Plus as the primary on another PS4. Despite trying to deactivate all accounts on the PlayStation website, I was informed I need to wait 6 months. I want my account with PlayStation Plus as the primary to access games from my main account on the other PlayStation without needing to buy Plus again.

I am unsure. I had just created a new account on the website. My account was banned shortly after creation. I had just completed making it, was then prompted to change my password, and suddenly received a ban for "violating TOS"? I did not use any offensive language. I didn't even have the opportunity to enter a username on the account page. The only possible issue could be that the browser I used had an adblocker, which may have affected the captcha process. I wasn't even able to select a username.

I am inquiring about the Persona 5 Royal theme codes that should be received for achieving the platinum trophy in the game. After completing all the trophies and earning the platinum trophy, so far I have only received one pack named “King of all palaces” containing Akechi, Haru, and Kasumi character themes. It has been roughly 2-3 weeks since then with no further codes received. I am not looking to rush the process, but I am curious if the other theme packs are still pending delivery. I recall reading online about someone who contacted PlayStation support after experiencing a similar delay and received the codes. I hope to gain some clarity on whether the themes are prepared for me but have mistakenly not been sent out. I appreciate any assistance in resolving this issue.

I purchased a DLC upgrade to Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition and did not receive the content. According to their policy, I am eligible for a refund for a faulty product. Upon contacting chat support, I was instructed to troubleshoot, reestablish licenses, and activate as the primary PS4. After following these steps at home, I attempted to contact support again but each time I am blocked from the chat. Phone support is unavailable, so I have tried multiple browsers and even different regions, all with the same result. I have transcripts of my initial conversation and records of each failed attempt to reach them. If I do not receive a response, I will consider legal action against Sony for not upholding their refund policy.

Dear Sir, I recently purchased a PS4 Pro and paid for a 1-year subscription to a PS Now account through PayPal for £49.99. My Order No. is [redacted]02. However, my account stopped working on 25/4/20, and I received an email confirming a sign-in ID change. I have been unable to contact customer support as I reside in Vietnam, and the local number is in Vietnamese only. Online chat and calling Singapore have been unsuccessful, as well as contacting UK or US support due to communication barriers. Subsequently, I received an email stating that Sony Interactive Entertainment canceled my billing agreement for a Sony PSN BA via Console, leaving me puzzled. I have not received a refund of £49.99 to my bank or PayPal account. Despite numerous attempts to reach Sony through various channels, including online chat and email, I have been unable to resolve this issue. My login attempts on both laptop and console have failed, citing non-existent email address. I kindly request your prompt assistance in resolving this matter as I have been unable to access my account for over a month and download the games included with the PSN account. Thank you. Best regards, James S.

Following recent events on my PlayStation Network account, I decided to change the email address associated with it. However, after entering my new email and confirming it, I was unexpectedly logged out. When I tried to log back in, the code was being marked as incorrect. I then attempted to reset the password using the mobile app but was prompted to enter the date of birth which was not the correct one on the account due to it not originally being mine. Can you assist in helping me retrieve this new code so I can regain access to my PlayStation Network account? PSN Username: Mugiwara-No-Joel I will provide the email address of the original account holder for verification purposes.

Hello, I am a 12-year-old boy who is experiencing trouble logging into my Epic Games and PSN accounts. I keep getting an authentication error message. After watching some videos, I was advised to visit a specific site and click on a password bot, but the video said I needed a live agent to resolve the issue. I'm concerned about the status of my account with the ID ExtraX-Szah. I want to assure you that I have not violated any rules. I have my dad's support and will contact customer service with his help. I have complete access to the account and just need assistance in regaining access without facing any bans. I previously reported an issue with another account to Epic Games, but they ended up deleting it. I hope for a different outcome with my current account. Your help in restoring my account would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I've encountered a problem with my PS4. My friend's console was struck by lightning, only needing a new power source. He passed it to me, and I transferred my power source to his PS4 and started using his. However, he already purchased a new PS4 and set it up with his account, while his old one still has his account, which is the one I'm currently using. I can't game share with him because it says another PS4 is already activated as primary. I tried clearing all devices on my account via the website on the PS4, but when my friend attempts it, he's told to wait for six months even though he hasn't used it before. Is it possible to help him deactivate all his devices without waiting, or is there an alternative solution to resolve this? Thank you for any assistance. He's never used the website previously.

This morning, I wasn't at home when I received three emails, each sent precisely three minutes apart. The first email contained a Sony support code, even though I didn't request one and wasn't there to change my password. Shortly after, the second email from PlayStation informed me that my password had been changed without my authorization. Following that, the third email from PlayStation indicated that my sign-in email had been altered as well. Later, about six hours after these notifications, I attempted to reset my password but needed my sign-in ID, which I couldn't receive because it had been changed. I am worried because it appears that the hackers can access my email, and my payment card information is linked to my PlayStation account, making unauthorized purchases possible.

Hello PlayStation, I am a PlayStation 4 player facing an issue with my PlayStation Plus subscription. My ID is Shaby-Kira, and I am Yousuf Mohammed from Saudi Arabia. On June 2nd, I purchased a 12-month PlayStation Plus subscription for $49.99. The next day, June 3rd at 5:08 PM, I accidentally bought another 12-month subscription for $49.99. Shortly after, I noticed a discounted offer for the same subscription for $34.99 under the Days of Play promotion. This confused me because the $49.99 subscription in my cart did not show any discount. I would appreciate your assistance with this matter. If you require further clarification, please let me know. Thank you, Yousuf Mohammed.

A friend's son managed to bypass the password protection on the Playstation 4 she bought him, running up a $[redacted] bill in-game purchases for Fortnite without her knowledge. The incident occurred on May 28th, but she only noticed on May 30th when her credit card was declined due to suspicious activity. Despite reaching out to Playstation support for a refund, they declined as the content has been used. She is understandably frustrated by this situation.

My account got hacked, and now the hacker made their PS4 my primary console, preventing me from accessing my $[redacted].00+ worth of digital games. I can't deactivate devices online because I'm blocked, and the PS4 phone support is unavailable. The website now shows my location as India. It's frustrating not to find a solution since the support lines went down. I fear someone is using my games and identity. PlayStation doesn't offer live chat support either. The only solution seems to be Sony deactivating all devices on my account manually. I've changed my password and enabled 2-step verification. My email linked to the account is [redacted], and my PSID is justafluke. I've been a loyal PSN gamer since day one, and this situation is disappointing.

After the recent update 7.51, it appears to have caused a significant issue with PS4 Pro consoles where games, both on disc and downloaded, are freezing. Additionally, users are unable to connect to YouTube. This problem is widespread and affecting many users. Urgent attention is needed to address and resolve these issues promptly as they are impacting all systems. Thank you sincerely for your prompt assistance. From, RobRec85 and T_RCR.

I have made several complaints about the recent update 7.51, which is still affecting gameplay for both CD and online purchased games. There are existing problems with logging onto YouTube as well. It seems like there may be a major virus affecting all systems due to this update. We have tried restarting, safe mode, and other actions without success for nearly a week now. Please fix the issues with the 7.51 update as soon as possible as it is causing freezes and affecting all PS4 Pro systems. Kindly email me at [redacted] with updates on the fix. Thank you.

Yesterday evening, between 7 and 9 pm, while playing FIFA 20 in a PlayStation party with my friends, I took a break and went downstairs after several hours of gaming. During this break, one of my friends accessed my account without my permission. When I returned, I noticed I was no longer in the PlayStation party, leading me to initially think it was a WiFi issue preventing me from signing in to PlayStation Plus. Upon reaching out to my friends from the party, I learned that someone had gone on my account without authorization and sent inappropriate messages to someone I had played with online. Consequently, I received a 7-day ban, which I acknowledge, but I feel unjustly penalized this time as it was beyond my control. I'm seeking a resolution to this matter.

Recently, I came across a PlayStation Plus deal which I wanted to avail. However, mistakenly, I purchased a PlayStation Now subscription instead of the year-long PlayStation Plus subscription. I have attempted to use the service but found it useless to me. I have been trying to contact customer service for a refund, but due to the pandemic, the phone lines are down. I have also tried emailing and using the refund bot on the website with no success. I worked hard for that money, and it is disheartening to see it go to waste. I hope for a resolution to this issue soon. Best regards, Daniyil M.

I have a PlayStation account but accidentally ended up in a menu that made me reset my entire PlayStation. I created a new email and now can't remember my old account password despite trying many. My old phone with the account details is broken. My mother, Areema N., who unfortunately passed away from COVID-19 in April while serving as a frontline nurse, had contacted you about this matter. She was going to help me recover the account. However, I need assistance in regaining access to my account "Slimzx11," which was linked to the email [redacted] For verification, my date of birth is 04/01/[redacted]. Many purchases on the account were under my mother's name. Can you please help me with this?

On June 11th, [redacted], around 4pm, my PS4 account was hacked by someone posing as a fan offering payment to play a game with me. They sent a picture of a prepaid Visa card and asked for my contact information through in-game messages. I entered the card details and later found that my username, security question, and birth date were changed. The hacker was now using my account under the name "PRADA10K" after initially being "MXCHO_YT." This is distressing as I have been an avid PlayStation player since the first console and had achieved "legend" status, losing all my progress is disheartening. Please advise on how to regain control of my account as this situation is very troubling for me.

My PSN account got banned due to fraudulent activity after it was hacked. Even though I reported the issue promptly and changed my password with assistance, PSN refuses to lift the ban without payment for the unauthorized game credits. It's frustrating that I'm being held accountable for charges I didn't make, especially since the credits were for a game I don't even have. The online chat support was unhelpful, insisting on the $99.90 payment due to the bank reversing the charges, which I didn't request - it's not even my bank account. I'm unwilling to pay this amount as it feels like extortion for a service I rarely use, and now I'm locked out of other features on my PlayStation due to the account ban.
