I recently downloaded a DLC for my game on PlayStation, but unfortunately, it seems there's a region mismatch causing the DLC not to work with my installed game. I am seeking a refund from PlayStation as the DLC will not install, and I cannot use it. I am keen on resolving this promptly as the refund policy states that requests should be handled within 14 days of purchase, and the only way to request a refund is by speaking with a representative. Despite attempting several live chat requests and phone calls, I have been unsuccessful in reaching a representative to address this issue.

My account got banned under the email [redacted]. There was a mistake with a payment issue while I was traveling. My wife noticed a charge from PlayStation on the account and thought it was fraudulent. She reported it to our bank, resulting in the money being taken back. This error occurred because PlayStation automatically withdrew the yearly subscription fee, making her believe it was unauthorized. I kindly request that you unban my account under the email [redacted] as this was a misunderstanding. I conduct a lot of business with your company, spending a significant amount, and all my saved data and game progress are linked to that email. Due to the ban, I had to create a new account under [redacted]. I have paid for a yearly subscription and purchased an online game, Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered. I am seeking assistance with merging the saved game progress from the banned account to the new one or transferring the subscription and game purchase to the old account. I hope we can find a solution to have all my data and purchases consolidated into a single account.

Last Saturday, April 4, [redacted], I received two emails from Sony. The first email, sent at 7:59 a.m., informed me that 2-step verification had been activated on my account. The second email, sent at 8:04 a.m., mentioned that my Sign ID (email address) had been changed. At the time, I was watching a stream on my web browser when I received a notification that my account was signed in on a different PS4 account. This has occurred a few times previously, but I assumed it was just an update error since it was not a major issue before – I would simply have to re-enter my password, and I could access my profile without any problems. However, now I can load my profile on my PS4 with the password, but I cannot sign in on the network or reset the password using the support bot which requires live support. I am unsure how they gained access to my network account, as I do not have many friends or play games online regularly. My main activities are watching TV, playing BloodBowl 2, and watching YouTube. I appreciate any assistance you can provide, and if further information is necessary, please let me know. Thank you.

I am writing on behalf of my 12-year-old son as his mother to inquire why he has been suspended and cannot access his account. I pay for this service, and I am frustrated that he has been locked out due to other gamers reporting him without valid reasons. These individuals are using inappropriate language, making hurtful comments towards my son. He did not use any profanity or communicate inappropriately with them. They attend the same school, and it seems they are jealous of my son because he outperformed them in the game. This led them to falsely report him.

My account was hacked, and now someone claims ownership of it on their PS4 by setting it as their primary console. They went on the PlayStation website and deactivated all my devices as primary. I changed the password, but I can't set my PlayStation as primary again. I need PlayStation to deactivate all consoles as primary so I can fully own my account again.

Dear Playstation Support, I tried to subscribe to Playstation Now but encountered issues using a €10 Playstation Store gift card. Every time I tried to select the trial version or the monthly subscription and entered my PayPal information, it prompted me that a payment method was already on file, then I got kicked out and had to subscribe again. This same issue happened on my computer. I was unaware that I needed a specific Playstation Now gift card directly, and mistakenly used the Playstation Store card, thinking I could download Playstation Now from the store. After entering the code, the credit was added to my account successfully. Could you please convert my €10 Playstation Store credit to a 1-month €9.99 Playstation Now subscription? Best regards,

I have a Sony account with two-step verification set up two years ago. I never had any problems until last night when I tried to log in, and I didn't receive the verification code. The only option they provided is to use a device where I am already logged in, but I only use my PS4, not my laptop or phone. I don't have any backup codes either. What should I do now? I've had this account for 4-5 years, was level 10 in GTA with lots of progress and now it seems like all is lost. Is there no solution to this? Sony's live chat isn't working either. I really need access to my account, please send the verification code to me.

On March 8, [redacted], I purchased a video game add-on for a game on the Sony Playstation Network but did not receive the in-game credit. After waiting a week with no resolution from Sony, they advised me to contact the developer, who did not respond. On March 18, [redacted], I made the same purchase again and finally received the add-on. Due to lack of assistance from Sony or the developer, I contacted my financial institution for a refund. Upon receiving the refund on March 25, [redacted], Sony suspended my account, which holds hundreds of dollars worth of games and upgrades. Unfortunately, there is currently no phone or online support available from Sony.

I used a credit card with permission that wasn't mine, and PlayStation made charges I wasn't aware of. The credit card company locked the account for suspicious activity. When the card user called to unblock it mentioning the unauthorized charges, the representative misunderstood and cancelled the card thinking it was fraud. The charges were refunded, but now my account is either suspended or unrecoverable as I can't reach anyone by phone due to the call center closure. The card user is willing to explain the situation and have the charges reinstated, but I am unsure if this will unsuspend my account. Additionally, since the card used for the charges was cancelled, I am unsure how the charges can be put back on a closed card.

When I first created my account, I accidentally selected the child account option instead of an adult account. I later tried to create an adult account and used the child account to join family management, but now the account upgrade doesn't work. I need help from PlayStation support to add the upgrade child's account feature so I can upgrade my account correctly. In case it's needed, my adult sub-account email is [redacted] My birth date also needs to be changed for PlayStation purposes. I really need my account to be fixed as I'm having trouble signing in on YouTube. Thank you for your assistance.

On March 22, [redacted], I bought a PS4 Pro and initially had no issues. However, with the start of Modern Warfare season 3, the game started freezing and crashing, affecting console navigation. I suspected it was a defective console and got a replacement on April 11, [redacted]. After a clean install of the game and a system software update, the freezing issue persists. The game freezes at the score screen after the final kill cam every time I play. During a console crash, following the shutdown procedure doesn't always work, leaving the console overheating. I've invested a significant amount of money in these games, including purchasing the endowment pack in MW, but never received the content. Any advice on how to resolve these issues would be appreciated.

I have forgotten my password and am unable to access my account. When attempting to reset the password, the system claims it will send an email to my provided address; however, I have received nothing in my inbox, including spam folders. Though the reset worked once, it prompted me with security questions about my birthplace and date of birth that did not match their records. As my account was always logged in on my PS4, I now face an issue accessing it online. I have invested a substantial amount in games over the years and do not wish to lose them due to this frustrating situation. Retrieving my banking information seems more straightforward than regaining access to my PSN account. I kindly request urgent assistance.

I have recently received about five emails from PlayStation asking me to verify a newly created account that I have no knowledge of. It seems like someone used my email address to create a PlayStation account. The first email I received contained his account details such as his address and Online ID. I can provide you with these details if needed. I would greatly appreciate it if you could address this issue and prevent this individual from using my email address. Thank you in advance.

My account shiryx_v2 was hacked on March 13, [redacted]. I received an email ([redacted]) while I was sleeping, stating that my online ID and sign-in ID had been changed. The email addressed me as gaspar_303 instead of shiryx_v2. Attempts to reset my password were unsuccessful. Additionally, the accounts Kyranith and esmuellert_13 were also "stolen" using my account. The last game purchased was FIFA 20 and Playstation Plus in September [redacted] (FIFA as a disk). As far as I know, all payments were made using Playstation cards. If needed, I can provide you with the serial number of the PS4 system where the account was logged in. I hope you can help me. I'm willing to answer any further questions to resolve this issue quickly.

Good morning, I would like to address an ongoing issue since October [redacted]. I have an annual subscription to play online with the PS4. However, starting from the mentioned date, on the 14th of each month, €9.99 is debited from my card under "PLAYSTATIONNETWORK LONDON GB," WITHOUT MY CONSENT OR PURCHASE. Unfortunately, I only recently noticed this theft and immediately removed my card from the PS4 payment methods. To date, the STOLEN amount totals €70. Since I never agreed to anything and never made any purchases on playstationnetwork (apart from online play subscriptions), I kindly request a refund of €70 and the cessation of these unauthorized regular payments. I am John W. stationed at Camp Carroll in South Korea. I noticed my account, graylyaxis1, was hacked on April 17, [redacted]. The email associated with my account was changed on April 18, [redacted], at 04:08 in the morning without my knowledge. Despite reaching out to Sony support multiple times, I haven't received any assistance, which is frustrating as I've invested a lot of time and money in this account over the years. Friends have informed me that someone other than me is now using my account. I have not shared my login information with anyone, and I have a unique password that only I know.

I purchased a 12-month PlayStation Plus card today from Walmart at the Baseline and Merivale location in Ottawa, Ontario. Unfortunately, when I tried to peel off the code at home, half of it got ripped off with the instructions. I went back to Walmart, but they were unable to help and advised me to contact the company directly. I've been trying to call, but haven't had any luck reaching anyone. I hope someone can assist me with this issue promptly so I can start my online gaming. Thank you for your help.

I accidentally dropped my PS4 which led it to go into safe mode. After initializing it, I encountered issues trying to recover my game data for NBA 2K and GTA. My GTA data didn't show up, and when I attempted to restore my NBA 2K player, I received an error code stating it couldn't download the file. This is frustrating as I've recently spent nearly $[redacted] on in-game purchases for both titles. I have proof of these transactions on my bank statement. I am determined to recover my lost data, especially after investing so much time and money into my game progress. Additionally, my PS4 keeps unexpectedly closing applications and going to a black screen, requiring a manual restart. I tried reaching out to Sony, but due to the current COVID-19 situation, no staff is available. This is the second PS4 I've had issues with, and I cannot afford to purchase a new one right now. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated as I am quite upset about this situation.

Hello, I'm Sten Robin, and I own a PS4. Yesterday, I purchased Gran Turismo Sport online. This morning, after the download finished, I launched the game. Initially, I noticed the intro video didn't play, although the settings indicated the intro was enabled. Subsequently, I encountered unusual restrictions - I could only access ARCADE mode with a limited car selection of fewer than 10 vehicles. On the screen, a message stated, "Game data is being downloaded. Only Arcade Mode is available while data is being downloaded." Additionally, a message appeared beneath, mentioning a network connectivity issue, despite my PS4 showing an active internet connection. Despite waiting and attempting to restart and reinstall the game, the issues persisted. A friend who plays the game mentioned not experiencing similar problems. I'm seeking assistance to determine if this situation is normal. Thank you in advance.
