While at my parents' house, I attempted to log into my account on my father's PS4 console. I had forgotten my password, so I reset it to regain access. Upon the reset, it prompted a verification code sent to an outdated phone number I no longer use. I selected the option for not having access to that number, which led me to a 2-step verification process that I didn't have set up. Another option suggested was to deactivate 2-step verification through an account that I was already signed into on a different device to update the phone number. Unfortunately, upon returning home, I found myself automatically logged out of my PS4. Despite entering the new password, I still couldn't access my account as it prompted for the verification code to the outdated number or the 2-step verification code, which I lacked. I attempted to log in via a web browser but encountered the same issue. As Sony support is only available Monday to Saturday, I am currently unable to reach them. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated! 😄

I've encountered a recurring issue similar to a past suspension involving a user named Mc-Noodle-King. The interactions turned negative during a voice chat when they made hurtful comments. I suggested that their behavior wasn't kind. A group chat initiated by Safiii_ made me uncomfortable, although I joined in the fun before a heated argument led to Mc-Noodle-King blocking me, despite being unfair. Regrettably, I retaliated by calling them names. Subsequently, I received a sudden ban from PlayStation, which was unexpected. A suspension would have been more reasonable. To resolve this, I propose a one-year account suspension as I feel my actions were not severe. I've been a customer for approximately two years and sporadically make purchases for Dead by Daylight.

I attempted to explain their hypocrisy, but they became one-sided and ultimately blocked me. The situation mirrors what occurred with a previous suspended account involving mc-noodle-king. Despite past issues, they treated me poorly during a heated voice chat. I was hesitant to participate in a group chat initiated by Safiii*. Following some lighthearted banter, things escalated into a heated argument, leading mc-noodle-king to block me - despite their own hypocritical behavior. I made a comment in response, mentioning their weight and ethnicity. The next day, I found myself banned from PlayStation unexpectedly. I would have accepted a suspension, but not a ban. To resolve this, perhaps PlayStation could consider lifting the ban for around a year since my actions weren't severe. I believe I was unjustly punished, especially considering the verbal abuse I endured. I've been a loyal customer for many years and occasionally make purchases for Dead by Daylight. The issue remains unresolved at this time.

I wanted to express why they were hypocritical, but it seems they only see things from one perspective and ended up blocking me. This situation reminds me of what led to my other account getting suspended. I had an unpleasant interaction with a person named Mc-Noodle-King, who hasn't been kind to me due to past issues. I believe my actions weren't severe. I've been a loyal customer for several years, occasionally making purchases, such as for Dead by Daylight*. As PlayStation doesn't monitor voice chats, situations like this may occur unchecked. I hope PlayStation reconsiders and lifts my ban, perhaps with an extended probation period. No resolution yet.

I bought a PS4 for my 9-year-old grandson for Christmas, and he is playing Fortnite. I purchased the $13.99 update for him online, which was a new experience for me as I usually don't use credit cards online. However, my credit card was charged 20 times for $13.99 each. My grandson misunderstood that the $13.99 would cover every character update, and I ended up being billed $[redacted].80 in total. I take responsibility for the initial charge, but the subsequent 19 charges are a lot for me as a single grandmother. I'm not looking to scam anyone but would appreciate a refund considering the circumstances. Any help with this matter would be greatly appreciated. It's a lesson learned for both of us. Hello, I have not used my PlayStation login information in a long time. I think I created the account about 8 years ago. Recently, I gave my little brother the PS4 as a Christmas gift along with my user account for Fortnite stats and skins, as I no longer used it much. My brother had trouble starting the PlayStation and I decided to "initialize the PS4," which reset the whole system. Now, I cannot recall the login information, either the email or password, but I remember the gamertag, which is Alibaby98. My name is Oskar Lie. I do not remember the email associated with the account and I am unsure if I can reset the password since the email was created solely for my PSN account. Can you assist me with this issue? I have identified unauthorized charges on my account from December [redacted] to August [redacted] by Playstation. I contacted Playstation, and was advised to have my institution send a dispute for a refund. However, South State customer service mentioned they can't assist past a 3-month period. They suggested I visit a branch in person for a chance to get a refund. I have proof through bank statements that I cancelled the Playstation account, yet they kept charging until my card was replaced. It's concerning that my rightful refund requires so much effort due to unauthorized charges. I expect a resolution promptly. Thank you, Janlyn.

I am reaching out regarding an ongoing issue with a PS4 user attempting to hack into my wife's account. Yesterday, this individual successfully gained access to her account and email, but thankfully, we were able to reclaim them. Despite setting up additional security measures like 2-factor authentication, the hacker persists, even sending my wife a Friend request with just a period as a message. Their username is E-I-T-F-L-H, and they have a low trophy level of 2. The account's language is Arabic, matching the source of the hack. The description reads, "Be crazy crazy (Arabic language) # ..!people are happy." These persistent attempts to breach her account and potentially gain access to personal information are unsettling. Any assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Every time I attempt to log in to the PSN on my PS4, I quickly encounter error NP-[redacted]-6. Signing in on mobile is also problematic; once I tap on sign in, I promptly receive an error with the code N/A. Oddly, I can sign in on mobile by disabling my WiFi connection. Could it be that Playstation has mistakenly blocked my IP address assuming it's a threat? I haven't made any changes or done anything to trigger this issue. I have been a loyal customer since the PS1 era. While I understand this may not be something you can resolve, it seems like an issue that needs to be addressed by Playstation directly.

My account was unexpectedly banned, and I am seeking assistance to have it restored. The issue arose when my 7-year-old son accidentally made a purchase on my account in Fortnite. Upon realizing this, I attempted to contact PlayStation for three days through various channels without success. My husband, whose card was charged, had to contact the bank to dispute the transaction since PlayStation's live chat did not provide assistance in this matter. This was not an intentional purchase, and I have been a loyal customer for over 2 years, investing significant amounts in games and purchases. My psn account under the name Jeck_Wes has been hacked. This morning at 5:40 AM central time, I got emails saying my password and email address were changed, even though I didn't do it. I live in Houston, Texas. I know Sony can track where the changes were made. I need my account back, I have important games and progress on it. I called customer service but no one answered. I'm ready to give any information needed to recover my account.

Yesterday, I received an email notification from Google alerting me to a possible unauthorized attempt to access my account. With prompt action, I changed my password and enabled 2-Step verification. Later in the day, I discovered another email indicating a password change for my PlayStation account. I swiftly rectified this, as well as a change to my gamer tag. Subsequently, I had trouble accessing my account due to further unauthorized alterations including a changed email address. I am deeply invested in this account and can provide various details to verify ownership. The original gamer tag was bbematt, now altered to ww_proplayer_wwe, causing confusion among my online contacts. Restoring access to my account would be greatly appreciated. Hello, I am seeking assistance regarding an issue with my PSN account and Gmail. Yesterday, while playing Fortnite with friends, I received an email stating that my PSN password was changed without my knowledge. Consequently, I got logged out of my PSN account. Upon trying to log back in, my password was not recognized. I also discovered that my Gmail account was not signed in on my phone, and my attempts to access it were unsuccessful even after trying to reset the password. My PS4 PlayStation username was originally "KingUgly84" which I changed to "DaytonHeater937." After the change, I was kicked out of PlayStation Network, even though I did not alter my password "KingUgly1." I would like to regain access to my previous account with the username "KingUgly84" and the associated password "KingUgly1."

I recently moved to a new location and just set up my WiFi. When I tried to log in to my PlayStation account, I realized I was logged out. After attempting to reset my password, I discovered that my account had been hacked. I received emails confirming changes to both my password and username. I am now unable to access my account through the PlayStation Store or on my PS4. I attempted to reach out to PlayStation for assistance but was unable to get through on the phone. I've received a permanent ban on PS due to previous violations of the TOS. My behavior involved rage and inappropriate language in messages, resulting in multiple suspensions. Following my last suspension, I committed to change and adhere to the terms. Despite refraining from abusive messages recently, I still faced a permanent ban, presumably based on an older reported message. I wish to explain this situation to PS support, expressing my intent to reform and follow their rules. Requesting for an opportunity to be unbanned, I plan to disable messages to prevent any further issues. Recognizing the chances given to me previously, I now understand the impact of my actions on myself and others. My hope is for PS to reconsider their decision, offering me a final chance to demonstrate respectful behavior on their platform.

I need assistance. My account was wrongly banned permanently for my community name, which is not inappropriate. Despite contacting customer service, they were unable to help. This ban is unjust, especially after renewing my plus membership. Surprisingly, my community remains intact. The inconsistency is confusing. If my community name is the issue, why hasn't it been removed? Accused of something I did not do, I feel frustrated. I hope this mistaken ban can be rectified before July. If not, I may switch to Xbox to avoid future unjust bans.

My account was wrongfully banned indefinitely due to a mistaken association with the community name. I assure you that the name of my community does not violate any guidelines, and this ban needs to be reevaluated. Though I contacted customer service, they were not able to assist me. It's disheartening to have my account falsely banned after renewing my plus membership and investing over $*** on it. Upon checking another account, I noticed that my community is still active, which adds to my confusion. If the community name is deemed inappropriate, why hasn't it been removed from the PSN entirely? The situation is perplexing, and I'm frustrated to be accused of something I did not do. I simply want to enjoy playing GTA with my friends. If the ban is not lifted by July, I may switch to Xbox, fearing another unjust ban with no prior offenses. Sony, please reconsider and lift the ban based on the fact that the community name does not violate the Terms of Service. I am confident that I have abided by all the rules, and if this issue persists, I may seek legal recourse.

Hello, I've owned my PS4 for 6 years and never had issues connecting to the internet until recently. When I turned it on, it wouldn't connect. I tried troubleshooting on my own but kept encountering various errors. I even bought a new router, but that didn't fix it. I adjusted some settings based on online tips, but still couldn't resolve the issue. When I try to enter my Wi-Fi password, I receive messages that the connection timed out, my password might be incorrect (it's not), or that there's no DNS set up.
