I worked hard to save up for a PS4 and purchased a used one without realizing it was banned from the PlayStation Network. The console worked with a FIFA 19 CD, but I made the mistake of not checking its online status before buying it. I paid cash and now feel scammed and frustrated. I didn't do anything wrong but the ban seems final. I'm upset as I can't play online with friends and cannot contact the seller for an IP change. I hope someone from PlayStation can assist me with this issue quickly.

I am encountering Error CE-[redacted]-9 when trying to download Red Dead Redemption 2. Despite attempting various troubleshooting methods like rebuilding the database and reinstalling the game, the issue persists. Notably, it's not an internet or hard drive problem as I am able to download other games and play online without any issues. I have tried changing my DNS settings based on suggestions from different online sources, but the error persists. I purchased the game from the PlayStation Store on Friday and have been unable to play due to this error. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated as I am eager to start playing the game.

I am encountering Error CE-[redacted]-9 when trying to download Red Dead Redemption 2 digitally on my PS4. Despite attempting various troubleshooting steps such as rebuilding the database and reinstalling, the issue persists. Oddly, I can download other games without any problems, ruling out a hard drive or internet connectivity issue. I even adjusted my DNS settings with no success. I've spent three days following multiple online guides and videos to address this error to no avail. I purchased the game from the PlayStation store recently but have been unable to play it due to this recurring issue. Any assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated as I am eager to start playing Red Dead Redemption 2.

I am experiencing an issue with my PlayStation 3 System, a CECH2001A Slim model that I recently purchased at a good price. When I tried to turn it on, the red light appeared as usual, followed by a green light for 5-10 seconds before turning yellow for 1-2 seconds without flashing. Then, it beeps 3 times and the red light starts flashing continuously until I manually turn it off. After researching solutions online, I came across a video suggesting pressing the power button and unplugging the console a few times, which worked momentarily. However, the PS3 only displayed an image for 3 seconds before shutting off again. I am determined to resolve this issue, but I am unsure of the next steps to take.

Last night, I shut down my PlayStation before going to bed. I shared my account details with a friend so he could play one of my games. Waking up this morning, I discovered my account had been suspended for a week due to violating the PlayStation Terms of Service for hateful speech. It seems my friend went overboard while interacting with another player online using my account. While I acknowledge the situation looks bad, I wasn't the one using the account then. I possess all the necessary account and personal information if required. I truly hope my account suspension can be lifted in this circumstance. I trust you can believe me as I have a clean record and would never engage in hate speech toward anyone online. Best, J. Caliguari

Hello, My account was banned for fraud over a year ago, and I'm unsure of how it happened or who did it. I used to live in a college house with my PlayStation in the living room. Shortly after my yearly membership expired, I couldn't sign in when I returned home from a weekend trip. I now reside at home with my mother and wish to regain access to my old account to resume using my PS4, which has held this account since I first got the console. There's a lot of important data and friends connected to that account. I hope the issue can be resolved soon. I believe I have been penalized enough for whatever happened, and I am eager to start playing games and renew my online subscription. I have been a loyal PlayStation customer without any issues for years, and I value the longevity of my account and the data stored there. I can assure you that nothing like this will happen again, as my living situation has changed, and I won't be sharing my PlayStation. Please let me know if there's a way to address this promptly. Thank you, Tyler Z. A.

Last night at 8 pm, my PlayStation 4 was suddenly IP blocked while I was playing GTA V with friends and family. After my PS4 hard reset, I sent an error report to Sony, which seemed fine at first. However, when I tried to resume playing GTA V, I was prompted to buy PS Plus even though I already have an active subscription. Additionally, all the content I had purchased became locked due to the IP block, leaving my PS4 in a semi-bricked state. I haven't engaged in any illegal activities to justify this situation, and I suspect that my account may have been hacked on Sony's end. I urgently need answers today as a loyal paying customer and long-time Sony fan. I hope Sony can assist a customer like me who is currently facing this frustrating issue with their security measures safeguarding my PlayStation.

I purchased "The Hunter: Call of the Wild" on the PlayStation store, but it got deleted. When I tried to reinstall it, I encountered a problem. The download bar appears white and when I try to start the game, it says the application cannot be found. It prompts me to search for it in the store, but I keep getting the same message. Despite being in the store, I can't delete the game and try reinstalling it because it's not installed, yet the download bar remains. The game isn't showing in my downloads either. I've attempted to restore licenses and tried other troubleshooting steps, but nothing has resolved this issue.

After moving out from living with my ex-boyfriend, I realized he was still charging my debit card through his PS4. Later, I discovered he had hacked into my PS4 account and made it his primary console with verification steps in place. Despite trying, he had already disassociated his PS4 from my account, leaving me unable to remove it for six months. This has affected my game sharing privileges with a friend, restricting access to certain games. I urgently need assistance to remove his PS4 from my account. I am unfamiliar with his gamer profile, but his name is Rozell Cornelius. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I recently discovered that my account has been permanently banned, and I am deeply upset as I believe it was a misunderstanding. During a game of Rainbow Six Siege, a player reported my account after a random message to my friend, who had nothing to do with my gameplay. I believe this report was false and unfair. My friend, as a joke, mentioned having a cousin working at Sony, but this was not a real statement. I was shocked to receive an email confirming my ban shortly after. I urge Sony to investigate the situation further and consider lifting the ban. I have put a lot of time and effort into my progress on the account, and it's disheartening to be punished for something beyond my control. Hopefully, Sony can rectify this issue promptly.

I purchased two $50 PlayStation digital cards, totaling $[redacted]. I used $29.99 to buy the WWE 2K20 game for Christmas. However, the game crashes whenever I try to play a match or create a custom superstar. It has constant glitches making gameplay frustrating. I believe the game is unfinished and would like a refund for WWE 2K20. I wish there was a warning about potential issues before buying. PlayStation, please assist me in getting a refund of $29.99 for the faulty game.

I was trying to set my PS4 as the primary console, but I mistakenly signed out in my account settings. When I signed back in, I encountered a 2-step verification process that I didn't know I had since I never added a phone number to my account. Can someone assist me with this so I can access my game save data? Thank you.

On January 14, [redacted], around 9:30 a.m. EST, I received email receipts for unauthorized online purchases from the PlayStation Store, made using the credit card on my account. I promptly contacted my credit card provider to cancel the transactions and my card. Following this, I removed the credit card from my PlayStation account as it is no longer valid. However, when I tried logging in today, January 15, [redacted], I found that my account had been restricted for violating terms and conditions. This ban was not caused by me, and I would appreciate it being lifted. I am unsure of the steps needed to resolve this issue.

I recently purchased a €15 PSN card with the intention of buying a one-month PS4 Plus membership for playing Minecraft online with a friend. I redeemed the code online and now have the funds in my PS4 wallet. However, when I attempted to purchase the €8.99 subscription, the system prompted me to provide PayPal or credit card information. Despite entering my credit card details, I encountered an error as my card is not accepted. At 17 years old, I do not have a Mastercard or a PayPal account. I am hopeful that the unused €15 can be deducted from my account, and a new code can be emailed to me. I noticed that it is possible to buy the subscription with a prepaid card on store.playstation.com. Thank you for your assistance.

I encountered issues downloading add-ons for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Previously, everything was downloading fine, but now, the add-ons are stuck at 0kb out of 1.5Kb. My PlayStation won't copy the add-on, so I've attempted to delete the app multiple times to get rid of it with no success. Additionally, when trying to delete the game or take any actions related to it, my PlayStation shuts off and reports issues with the extended storage. The system occasionally freezes, making it impossible for me to play COD. I need help either halting the add-on copying process or finding a method to delete both the game and add-on without issues causing the PlayStation to freeze or abruptly turn off.

Hello, my name is Jack. I was recently suspended for violating the policy by sending a picture containing pornographic content. It was intended as a joke among my friends, but I understand it goes against the rules. My friend reported me without realizing the consequences. I assure you that I don't send such content to strangers, only to my close friends with good humor. I apologize for my actions and will accept the 30-day ban. I will refrain from sending such material to my friends in the future as per the policy. Sincerely, Jack. My online ID is jack_sattssssss.

I spent $[redacted] on a game and the next day I got banned because I reported unauthorized charges on my PSN account to the bank a month ago. After recovering my account and getting the money back, I thought the issue was resolved. It was frustrating to have to contact the bank and get a new card due to someone else's actions, especially with two-step verification in place. Now, a month later, I pre-ordered a game for $[redacted] on January 16th, only to find out my account was banned on the 17th when I was excited to play it. It's unfair to face consequences for someone else's spending on my account. Can someone please assist me with this situation?

I woke up to find my PSN account, @Enchanted_Faeryy, was signed out and needed to be re-logged in. However, when I tried to log back in, I received the error code WS-[redacted]-7, which seems to be related to a payment issue. I suspect the problem might have been caused by an encounter with another PSN user, Oblivionyx. This user began harassing me in-game, swearing at me and insulting my friends. I blocked them, but they continued to send me degrading messages via PSN. The messages included insults about me and my friends, accusing us of various things. This harassment went on for hours, with multiple reports filed against me.

I've been away from my PS4 for about 1 to 2 months and recently encountered a problem after a software update. I had to log back into my account and faced an issue with the 2-step verification code since the phone linked to it was broken and discarded long ago. Despite my efforts with online support, I couldn't resolve it due to the unavailability of live agents. I've tried various methods for a week to no avail. I'm hoping for assistance to either remove the 2-step verification or find a solution to access my main account. I'm using a guest account temporarily but wish to regain access to my regular account with all my progress. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I am having trouble downloading an update for Rainbow Six Siege and Elder Scrolls Online. The system is showing an error message indicating insufficient space, although I have more than [redacted] GB of free space available. This issue occurred before, and I resolved it by adding a terabyte of storage, which worked until now. Despite having sufficient space, I am unable to download any updates, and I am concerned about being unable to play my games in the future. Unfortunately, I cannot afford a new PlayStation or additional storage at the moment. I have tried searching for solutions online and contacting customer service with no success. If this problem persists, my console will become unusable. Please assist me as soon as possible.
