I recently received a temporary ban on my PSN account for using abusive language in PlayStation messages. I deeply regret my actions and assure you that I will not engage in such behavior again. While I understand the consequences of my actions, I believe a 7-day ban may be excessive, especially since this is my first offense. I was provoked by another player who initiated abusive behavior after a game. I am kindly requesting an appeal to have the ban lifted or reduced in duration. Thank you for your understanding.

I purchased a 12-month PSN subscription, and my dad was contacted to authenticate the payment made on his PayPal. He declined as he didn't realize it was me, and now my account is banned. PlayStation support advised me to buy a top-up voucher to clear the chargeback debt. I sent the code via email as instructed, but it's been over a day, and the issue is still unresolved.

I got overly emotional during a conflict with another player, and he requested a photo I shouldn't have sent. Although I regret my actions, his comments angered me, and I let my emotions control me. He threatened to involve my wife, escalating the situation further. Now, my account is suspended without receiving any notification, leaving me to assume it has been permanently banned.

My friends and I use PlayStation 4 to play games. Recently, old chat conversations resurfaced during some heated arguments, and I was reported multiple times by a friend for using mild curse words in chats from months before the arguments started. I never had the opportunity to address or remove the reported content from my chats. Despite not posting anything after the reporting began, I received a one-month ban and was later permanently banned for content that was labeled as extreme.

I recently received an email stating that my account's email address was changed without my knowledge. I attempted to use the reset password feature but did not receive the email notification as indicated on the website. Rather than clicking any links in the email for security reasons, I chose to reset my password directly on the website. I've attempted to contact customer support over the phone but have been unsuccessful. Any guidance on next steps would be appreciated as I believe my account has been compromised.

My grandson's account got locked due to my mistake. I mistakenly thought unauthorized charges for games and skins were made on my credit card. However, when I inquired, he denied it, stating account information was needed. Upon calling the bank, I reached a sex hotline instead. After requesting a charge dispute, the account was frozen. I now wonder if it was a forgotten renewal causing this issue and if his account could be reinstated.

Hello, I purchased PS Plus today using my parent account because I was unsure how to get it on my son's account. I visited the store to obtain the Fortnite Celebration Pack. However, when my son tried to access it, it only appeared on my account. I believed that PS Plus could be shared among users on the same PS4, but now I am concerned that my son won't be able to access the pack. I am having trouble logging into my PSN account. I attempted to log in from both my computer and PlayStation with no success. I also tried changing my privacy settings to "no one" based on advice from YouTubers but that did not solve the issue. Additionally, verifying my 2fa did not work. Despite restarting my PS4 and attempting to sign in multiple times, I am still unable to access my account. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I go by the username stig048 on PlayStation. Recently, I received a one-week ban from PlayStation Network. I admit some of the details in the emails sent to me are accurate, but I'd like to share the full story. Late one night, a friend (referred to as Anonymous) of mine was in contact with an individual who has since gotten me banned. They were discussing the sale of PlayStation cards for $15 to $20, which I also mentioned. The conversation escalated, leading to me removing him from the party. Subsequently, he created a group chat to discuss why I took that action. In a moment of anger, I sent a message I shouldn't have, but I felt provoked as he had insulted me with words like "stupid" and "Retard." I have previously reported individuals for more severe actions like DDoSing me or my friends, yet none of them faced bans. I kindly request that you review my previous reports. Thank you, Stig048

I forgot my account password and then someone who knew it changed it. When they shared the new one with me, it worked. However, my account is now locked, and I can't remember the date of birth I used when I created the account. I need help unlocking my account so I can access my games again. This issue has been ongoing since the second week of December. My PSN username is "TBFY-ELITEE."

I bought Arizona Sunshine recently and I am playing it through the disk. When I reach the second last stage and try to detonate the wall by placing three items on it and pressing down on the detonator, the detonator doesn't work properly. It just clicks and shifts slightly, preventing me from progressing. Despite multiple restarts, updates, and turning it off and on over the past few weeks, the issue persists. I would appreciate any advice on how to resolve this.

My system is not turning on normally, and I'm instructed to download an update onto a USB to resolve the issue. I visited the official website, downloaded the update file, and plugged it in. However, upon loading, it gets stuck on "preparing to update system software." It then progresses to "installing update file," but upon restarting, I'm prompted again to plug in the USB. This cycle has repeated five times now, and the update doesn't seem to be successfully installing, causing me to restart the process repeatedly.

As an African American, in our culture, we use various words. My PSN account name is "dat_niglet_there." If you plan to ban the use of diverse cultures on your PlayStation servers, you should specify in your agreement that only white culture is acceptable. I have purchased many games from your PlayStation network, and now I won't be able to enjoy them. I have been a PlayStation fan since [redacted], and had I known that PlayStation discriminates against other cultures, I would have spent my money on an Xbox instead of supporting Sony as I have been doing for years. I request a refund for the purchases I made to your company. I anticipate you will provide some excuse for why you cannot refund me. This situation may lead me to seek legal representation, incurring legal fees to recover my money and cover attorney costs. I prefer to resolve this matter promptly.

I purchased my PS4 Pro brand new from GameStop in [redacted], upgrading from the original PS4 I've had since it was released. Everything was fine until about two weeks ago when it wouldn't turn on, just showing a blue light and then shutting off. After researching online, I fixed it by changing the HDMI cable. However, the same issue occurred today after playing for an hour, turning it off, and returning a few hours later. I've tried various solutions, but none have worked. It's disappointing to learn that my PS4 may be broken or out of warranty, especially considering I took great care of it and it's the Pro model. The sudden malfunction after just a year of use is concerning, especially since I don't play extensively or expose it to any harm. I request assistance in resolving this issue promptly.

A stranger added me on PlayStation 4 while playing Fortnite and asked to swap accounts. He offered a $25 gift card to see my skins. I shared my PlayStation network login and email. When I asked for his details, he delayed, logged me out, and requested my Google password, which I refused. Trying to reset my password was futile as he had already changed it. I fell victim to a scam. I need assistance in reclaiming my account.

Today, when I tried to sign in to my PS4, it stated that my password was incorrect, even though I have it saved. I've requested a password reset email, but I haven't received it yet. This makes me wonder if my sign-in email was changed on my account without my knowledge. I've been inactive for about a month, so any recent activity isn't from me. I have access to the email linked to the account, and I've checked all folders, including junk/spam. I need to find out if there has been a change in the sign-in ID email address for my account "sleemeisback," and if so, how can I revert it to the original email address.

My PlayStation account is currently suspended, and I am seeking to appeal this decision. I believe the suspension was a result of my younger sibling accessing my console and potentially violating the terms of service by harrassing other players. Due to my busy schedule, I was unaware of this until now. I have realized that I can utilize parental controls to prevent unauthorized access to my account in the future. My account was banned for three reasons, and I am unaware of the final reason. The first "warning" was for an old message that was removed by SIE over a year after it was sent. The second reason was a suspension due to being transferred ownership of a community with an inappropriate title that I did not create. I had been cautious with my messages and activities since then. I had only been playing Fortnite Save The World for four days, chatting with friends in party chat. On the fourth day, I was banned from PSN after being away for about five hours. Additionally, I had forgotten to update my email associated with my PSN to the new one, which might have been considered a violation. From my perspective, I have abided by the rules of PSN.
