Hello, my son created an account on PS4, but accidentally signed out. We've tried resetting it, but he can't remember the birthdate used. The email attached is [redacted] He plays Fortnite and has spent real money on it, so we're trying to regain access to prevent any loss. Thank you.

This morning, when I tried to log into my PlayStation account, I was prompted for a 2-step verification code linked to an old phone number. Unfortunately, I don't have access to that number anymore. I attempted to deactivate it from my phone, but I couldn't proceed without the verification code. We didn't set up backup codes, never anticipating such an issue. Is there any way to avoid going through the 2-step verification process when logging in from my mobile device in the future?

I have a PlayStation Plus account, and I allowed someone to download the game Need for Speed on their account. The game was running smoothly, but in the middle of a session, a blue screen appeared saying that the content could only be used by users who have a license for it. Surprisingly, it listed only my name as the authorized user. I did not make any changes, and we are puzzled as to what might have caused this sudden restriction.

Every time I connect my headset to my DualShock 4 controller, both the audio and mic stop working, although it shows that the microphone is detected. Moreover, the controller stops responding to any inputs. The light on the controller remains on, but none of the buttons work, forcing me to reset the controller using the small pinhole on the back. This issue occurs consistently, even if I connect the headset before turning on the controller.

Before Minecraft was made cross-platform on PS4, I had a trial of the "Playstation 4 edition" which is no longer accessible. After redownloading the Minecraft trial I previously had because it had been updated to the new version of Minecraft (cross-platform), I attempted to play it, but it still only offered the trial version. When I tried to buy the full game, I was directed to the PlayStation 4 store page where I encountered a message stating "Not available for purchase" with a button below saying "Tell me more." After clicking on it, a pop-up appeared saying I couldn't purchase the full game because I already "OWN" it, even though I only have the trial version. Can you assist me with resolving this issue?

Following the latest system software update on Thursday, my PS4 Slim's disc drive ceased to function. The console was working well before the update, and the issue only arose after downloading the software. I am concerned about this development and am seeking information on a possible update to address this problem. With the holidays approaching next Wednesday, it is crucial to resolve this quickly, especially for those relying on disc-based games. I am confident that this issue stemmed from the recent update and sincerely urge for a prompt resolution.

I attempted to redeem my $[redacted] USA PSN gift card on my USA account. The code and date are correct, but I encountered an error stating I exceeded the maximum funding amount. I have redeemed several gift cards before without issues. I kindly request assistance to resolve this error so I can use the gift card. I do not have any parental controls set up, so there should not be any limits on the number of gift cards I can redeem monthly. Thank you.

Today, I noticed an unauthorized charge on my card for a purchase on the PlayStation Network. I am currently in the USA and do not have access to any PlayStation services. After checking my profile, I confirmed that no purchases were made from my account. It seems that someone used my card details to make a purchase on a different account without my permission. The charge is approximately $40, and I did not make this purchase. I am seeking a refund for this unauthorized transaction since I did not use my card for any transactions on my own PlayStation account, and my card should not be linked to any other PSN account.

On December 20th, I was using my PS4 all day without any issues until I received a message about being signed out due to another PlayStation signing into my account. Despite clicking ignore, the alert persisted, leading me to reboot my PS4, resulting in being signed out and now unable to recall my password. This sign out has affected my access across various platforms like the PS4 app, PS4 messages, and PlayStation.com. When attempting to reset my password, I faced difficulty as my phone number has changed, and I can't remember the fake birth year I used for security reasons. Unfortunately, my attempts to contact customer support have been unsuccessful as they are always closed. My username is Kinda_Aesthetic, although I am unsure if it has one underscore or two.

My PS4 is experiencing severe issues. The internet connection is not the problem, as two other PS4s on the same network are functioning well. We have successfully used all three PlayStations on this WiFi for a year without any network problems. I have verified the internet connection multiple times, and the WiFi signal is strong, with download speeds at 90.4 Mbps and upload speeds at 5.1 Mbps. Despite resetting both the router and PS4, the issue persists.

I recently updated the email address in my account settings. I made this change to resolve issues with my Epic Games account as the previous email was not functioning correctly. After updating the email, I logged out of the PlayStation Network and attempted to log back in. However, the system displayed the old email address instead of the new one, indicating that the change wasn't applied successfully. When I tried to log in using the old email, an error message appeared consistently. I even attempted to log in with alternate accounts and reset the password, but encountered the same error. I verified that my internet connection is stable and all other services are working correctly, except for the PlayStation Network.

I discovered unauthorized activity on my account where someone made purchases for games. My family noticed the unusual spending, and I also saw unfamiliar games on my account. I suspect my brother contacted PlayStation as my account got banned soon after. We are now attempting to regain access to my account due to significant unauthorized charges. The purchases were made with my mother's approval, and it was my brother's credit card that was used.

Email: [redacted] Account ID: Jodus I attempted to access my old account but I forgot the password. Upon receiving an email to reset the password, I encountered an issue with my date of birth not being recognized. After reviewing my old emails, I discovered a notification sent to an unfamiliar email address, [redacted], on September 3, [redacted], regarding a PlayStation Network Sign-In ID change. I am unsure what steps to take next to recover my account. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Majed

My PS4 keeps restarting during the installation of Modern Warfare, specifically on the 'Copying Add-On' phase which is 27.834GB. Initially, it wouldn't install at all, but after troubleshooting, I got it to install halfway before it repeatedly restarts the process. I've attempted various solutions like deleting the entire game, installing offline, and restarting the console without the disc, but the issue persists.

Hello! I encountered an issue where the power cable for my PS4 came loose, requiring me to reset the system using a USB. As a result, all my games and memory were erased. I am unable to redownload my games because I cannot recall how to sign in to my user account. When I attempt to retrieve my password, no email is being sent to the address I believed was registered for my user. My PS ID used to be "magmabuss" but I changed it to "laukas_" a few months ago. I initially thought my email was [redacted], but apparently, it has been altered. My primary email, [redacted], is associated with a different user that I only used for split-screen gaming. I had a PS+ subscription last paid on 22/11/[redacted] for [redacted].17kr (I reside in Norway). I recently purchased discounted games like Modern Warfare COD for [redacted]-500kr and Kingdom Hearts 3. Other games I owned include FIFA 19, Minecraft, NHL 19, Dark Souls, Horizon, Rocket League, Fortnite, Spider-Man, Brawlout, GTA 5, and Just Cause 3. There are more games I cannot recall at the moment, but I wanted to provide you with an overview.

My PS4 froze, so I placed it in rest mode. Following an online video, I selected to initialize the PS4. Now, I'm prompted to sign back into my PS4 account, but I can't recall the email address or password linked to it. I do know the sign-in ID, the name associated with the account, and have the payment information along with recognizing past transactions. Retrieving this account is crucial as I recently purchased Fifa 20 and the new Call of Duty on the PlayStation store, and my saved data for those games and others on discs are on the account. I attempted to change the account email, but it seems the identification form I have doesn't match the account holder's, which is confusing since I am the account holder.

In March this year, my PS4 was stolen. Recently, I noticed someone using my account without permission. I attempted to change the email associated with my account to my work email to regain control. However, despite requesting the verification link multiple times, I have not received it, preventing me from accessing the account settings. I urgently need to delete the account (shawty_doowop).

My younger sibling was using my account and got tricked into giving away my password by someone who claimed they could modify guns in Call of Duty. The person who took over my account goes by the name IIIspamyew-_- and had been chatting with my brother on Instagram before. After seizing the account, he taunted my brother by calling him multiple times, making him upset. My brother is only 11, and it's distressing to see him being manipulated by this individual. I've been a devoted PlayStation customer for a long time, and I'm hopeful that my account can be recovered.

I purchased the Jak and Daxter bundle on sale recently. After downloading the game, I encountered difficulty getting past the "press start" menu as none of the buttons respond. The same issue arises with the game Dark Cloud 2. It seems to be a problem with the PS2 games. I would appreciate it if this could be resolved, but for now, I am requesting a refund for the Jak and Daxter bundle. My username is (Extrememikey).

I was playing with my friend when he sent an inappropriate message to a group chat. I reported him as a joke, not realizing the serious consequences it would have. I want to take responsibility for violating the terms of service, even though I wasn't personally offended. The account that reported him was The_ClapAttack, and the suspended account was PlayerOne425. I am requesting that his suspension be lifted even if it means my account is suspended for not following the correct reporting procedure. My friend's message was meant as a joke and had no harmful intent. I apologize for my actions and hope for a prompt resolution. Please contact me at my email, [redacted] Merry Christmas. (Note: I misspelled my email in the initial report.)
