This morning, when I turned on my PS4, it took me to safe mode and prompted me to update to the new version. I attempted to update, but it failed. I had to use a USB connected to my computer to download the update. Now, the system is asking me to initialize my PS4, but I don't want to lose all my data and games. I have tried other solutions, but it seems like initializing is my only option, which I want to avoid.

Hello, my name is Martina McGarry. Recently, there have been unauthorized, card-not-present transactions on a PlayStation account, which I do not own. My service provider, Bank of Ireland, has been informed about these fraudulent transactions on my bank account. I request an investigation into these transactions promptly. Please confirm that these transactions were not authorized by me, as we do not have a PlayStation in our home. Thank you.

I purchased a PlayStation some time ago and linked it to an old Gmail account. Recently, I logged out of that account and now unable to sign back in as I have forgotten the password and no longer use that email. I also cannot access the email linked to it as I have forgotten its password too. I've created a new PlayStation account using my current email address because I couldn't access my original account.

I am experiencing issues logging into my PSN account on my PlayStation console. I have a child account managed by my dad's account. Despite my dad accepting the terms of service, I am still unable to sign in. Similarly, my brothers with child accounts are facing a similar problem. We attempted to create a new family with the manager account but discovered that I am in a different family. I am seeking assistance to resolve this frustrating situation.

I bought a game called "Space Hulk" after watching the trailers which convinced me to purchase it. However, upon playing the game, I experienced continuous lag with frames dropping constantly. Additionally, the sound quality in the game was poor unlike what was showcased in the trailers. I believe this is a defective game and false advertising on their part. I am requesting a refund to my original payment method.

Hello, I am seeking assistance with my PSN account under the ID: darkstarharry and the associated email [redacted] Upon trying to input my new credit card details in the PSN store, I encountered an issue with my forgotten password. In the process of resetting it, I faced security questions regarding my date of birth and fears which I set up about 5 years ago and cannot recall. My actual date of birth is 25/05/[redacted], but when I created the account, I was underage. The account was linked to an address in New York, and previously synced with my Facebook, although I noticed this integration is no longer active. It is vital for me to regain access as I have invested a significant amount of money in digital games like Need for Speed Payback, Spider-Man, God of War, and many others. Your help in resolving this matter is greatly appreciated.

I recently received a suspension for telling someone they were not good at the game, but I didn't receive any notification about the duration of the suspension. I find it unfair how some of my friends who have used swear words didn't even receive a warning. It's common to get frustrated during games and not choose the best words, but in my case, I simply said the person was performing poorly. I'm hoping for the chance to be unbanned, especially since I've just started my weekend where I am located.

I was charged £49.00 on 10/12/[redacted] for another yearly subscription. I would like a refund, my PSN ID is andrewmarks1. I forgot to disable automatic payments, so even though my current membership is valid until mid-January, I was charged early for another year. Additionally, I noticed that the free games I downloaded while being a member are now inaccessible. I believe I should still have access to them until my membership expires next month. I urgently need this money for Christmas. I already filled out an online refund form and was told I would hear back within 24 hours, but it's been longer than that and I haven't received a response yet.

I received an email two days ago regarding a 1-month subscription of PS Plus that was supposedly purchased, but I did not make this transaction. I am now looking into how I can receive a refund for this purchase as I did not authorize it and do not wish to keep it. I am currently in the process of updating my password and activating two-step verification to enhance my account security since this purchase seems to be a result of unauthorized access. I regret not noticing this sooner and hope for assistance in resolving this matter.

My account got banned for a “Terms of Service violation.” I think it was because of using profanity, but I had a valid reason for this. I got disconnected without cause, and I have evidence of being kicked off. Feeling frustrated, I used profanity towards the individual responsible. This isn't the first time I've been disconnected by someone. Lately, my internet connection has been unreliable, and getting kicked offline only made things worse for me.

I am experiencing an issue with my recent game purchases not showing up in my profile's games section. Approximately two weeks ago, I bought three games - Spider-Man, Skyrim, and Assassin's Creed Odyssey - and they were visible on my profile after playing and earning trophies. However, when I purchased UNO, Dead by Daylight, Far Cry 4, and I Am Bread a week later, they did not appear on my profile. I can still earn trophies for these games, and they are listed in the trophies section, but they are missing from the games section. This is frustrating because I enjoy seeing all my games on my profile. Any assistance in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

I own a PlayStation 4, and I recently noticed that Minecraft had a new update available. Despite owning the game previously and temporarily deleting it, when I tried to download it again to see the new features, it prompted me to repurchase the game. I purchased Minecraft with my own money, and it feels unfair that I'm being asked to buy it again. I kindly request a refund of $20 or the game to be restored to my account. Thank you.

Hello, I recently discovered that my PlayStation account was suspended for posting inappropriate images. After reviewing the email notification, I learned that it was actually my older brother who changed my cover image as a joke. I am upset because I am being punished for something I did not do, and I will miss out on playing with my friends during the holiday season. I understand if the suspension cannot be lifted entirely, but I would appreciate it if it could be reduced before Christmas.

After the recent update to version 7.01, I am unable to connect to the PlayStation Network using any of my devices. It seems like my IP address may have been blocked by Sony. I have attempted various troubleshooting steps like resetting my access point and PS4, as well as trying to sign in from other devices, but the issue persists. My ISP has confirmed that they do not block any websites, so it appears the problem lies with Sony. I would appreciate it if Sony could unblock my IP address associated with my device, as I never encountered this issue prior to the latest update. The error code I am receiving is NP-[redacted]-6.

I did not authorize my card for PlayStation charges. After updating my card details with PlayStation support, I discovered unauthorized charges on my new credit card and cash app card. Despite not having a credit card on file, I keep getting charged $50 and $10 repeatedly. I do not hold a subscription and was unaware of the payment requirements for playing on PlayStation. Surprisingly, even when using a PS card, they still deduct the equivalent amount from my card. This issue is concerning as the charges are impacting me financially. Hello, I wanted to share my experience with FIFA 20. I downloaded the game digitally and have encountered a message about corrupt data while playing. I followed the suggestions to delete and re-install the game, restored the database, and reinstalled the licenses, but the issue persists. Hello, my son has had a PS4 account for several years. Unfortunately, he was banned about three months ago. Prior to the ban, he received three temporary bans, but we are unsure of the reasons as we no longer have access to the email account where the notifications were sent. My son is a well-behaved boy who does not use profanity towards others. The ban has caused us to lose a significant amount of money invested in game activities over the years. He associates with friends who use inappropriate language, but he does not engage in such behavior. I am hoping to resolve this issue promptly. Thank you for any advice you can offer.

Hello, I've recently been receiving unexpected messages from unknown individuals thanking me or wishing me a good day. Concurrently, noticing an unauthorized transaction of $59.99 from the PlayStation store, I assumed my account information was compromised and promptly reported it to my bank. Upon investigation, it came to light that the $59.99 payment was actually the automatic renewal fee for the PlayStation Plus membership. Although the bank refunded the amount, my PlayStation account has been banned, preventing me from logging in. How can I rectify this situation as it was a misunderstanding on my part?

My father installed Fortnite on our PS4 and purchased [redacted] V-Bucks for $40. He received [redacted] V-Bucks as a graduation gift and also bought a Dark Fire Bundle for $30, totaling $80 spent on the game. When he switched his account over to the new PS4 Pro, everything disappeared, and he found himself back at level 1. He has made several attempts to retrieve his items, but has had no success so far.
