When I logged into my PS4, I went to my library to re-download a game I had deleted. Surprisingly, I found 5 games in my library that I never purchased or downloaded. Upon checking in the PlayStation store, I could download these games, even though I have the physical disks for each. The games are: Mafia 3, FIFA 17 and 19, MLB The Show 18 and 19. I would appreciate it if these games could be permanently removed from my library, and the purchase amount credited to my PSN wallet. I am Tyler B., with the gamer tag GamerBeast2405. My email is [redacted] I understand each game is valued at $60. Thank you for your assistance.

I recently contacted your customer support after a 2-hour wait. Unfortunately, the representative I spoke with, whose name I did not catch, was not very friendly; in fact, he sounded sarcastic and unhappy to be on the phone. Despite being initially told by the automated system that I would not be able to speak to anyone for my appointment at 12, I eventually managed to reach someone after a 2-hour wait. The automated system even attempted to schedule me for next week, which was quite frustrating. My overall experience was terrible due to the long wait and unfriendly customer service. I am relieved that I was able to get my money back, but this entire ordeal has left me highly upset and dissatisfied with PlayStation's customer service.

Hello, I am reaching out here because I have not received any response from @AskPlayStation despite my numerous attempts via DMs and Tweets. I prefer not to endure a one-hour hold on the phone. Around two months ago, I reset my PS4 and after restarting, the VR headset was working well initially. However, after approximately 10 minutes, I had power but no video. I tried various troubleshooting steps like changing HDMI cables, disabling HDCP, adjusting the resolution, and more. When I called PlayStation Customer Support, I was informed that I would need to pay $[redacted] for a shipping box to be sent to me and an additional $[redacted] for parts and labor. I still have unanswered questions and concerns since the call felt rushed, and I have not received any follow-up. I am hesitant to send in my headset, as it might be a faulty processing unit or even a headset issue, although both cords appear undamaged. I am puzzled why Sony’s $[redacted] Virtual Reality headset only offers a one-year warranty when Razer sells $30 keyboards with a two-year warranty. The only response I received directs me to phone support operating from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM Pacific Time. If anyone can provide assistance, I would be grateful; otherwise, I may need to consider saving up for a Vive or an alternative.

Yesterday at 8 p.m, I was playing Fortnite. After a match, I decided to take a break. When I returned at 9 p.m, I was prompted to sign into PlayStation Network, which was unusual. Despite entering my usual password, it kept saying it was incorrect. I tried resetting my password, but when asked for my date of birth, I realized I had used a fake one due to my dad's advice from a year ago. My main email is [redacted], but the affected email is [redacted] I'm 13 years old, and I can provide proof of ownership by listing my games or sharing a screenshot of my account if needed. Please reset the account for me.

Hello PlayStation, I am facing an issue with returning a game to Asda. I bought Crash Team Racing on its release day out of excitement for the nostalgia it brings. However, upon trying to play it on my PlayStation, I encountered a "Disc cannot be read" error. After exchanging the game at Asda, I faced the same problem. I tested other games and Blu-rays on my console successfully, confirming that the issue is specific to this game. Despite feeling a bit embarrassed as an adult man returning a game, I am having trouble with Asda's response to my request for a refund. Considering my experience working at HMV, I understand return policies, but I believe a faulty game should be refunded. As a gesture of goodwill, I hope PlayStation can assist me in resolving this frustrating situation. Thank you.

My son was given a gift card by his father, which he mistakenly used on Fortnite without adult supervision. Later, our niece, who previously bought items for him on Fortnite, alerted us about unauthorized charges of over $[redacted] on her account linked to his PlayStation. My son, unaware of the situation, believed he was using the gift card and unknowingly made these purchases by repeatedly pressing the buy button. Once I explained what had happened, he became upset as he did not intend for this to occur. Subsequently, his account has been blocked. Is there a way to address this issue and have his account unblocked?

I recently purchased the Sudden Strike 4 "Pacific War Extension" for my PlayStation 4. This extension needed to be downloaded onto my PS4 as an addition to my previously bought Sudden Strike 4 CD game. Following the purchase on the Sony Entertainment Network, I had to download a [redacted].9 Megabyte update file on my PS4. After the download, my PS4 restarted and went through an update installation and database rebuilding process. However, when I tried to access the game ribbon, my Sudden Strike 4 game was not selectable. I restarted my PS4, which then allowed me to select the game. Unfortunately, when I tried to access the purchased extension (Pacific War), the game did not recognize my purchase and prompted me to buy it again rather than unlocking it.

My son was approached by someone in the United States while playing Fortnite online on his new PS4. They played for a few days until the other player asked for his account password to borrow skins, promising v-bucks in return. Unfortunately, my son, being only eight years old, shared the password, resulting in the person taking over his account. The hacker then mocked the situation, admitting to targeting kids like my son. I have a recording of the conversation. I'm Vanessa McNeil from Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, Canada. Is there any way to resolve this issue? Thank you for your assistance.

This morning, I received multiple emails indicating $[redacted] was added to my PS4 wallet without my authorization. The emails detail purchases of games and a subscription service that I did not make. The initial transaction occurred on 7/7/19 at 4:53 am with order# [redacted]42. Additionally, I received an email about an account for my non-existent child being set up. Subsequent emails informed me of various game purchases and a monthly subscription with order [redacted]21. I have taken steps to secure my account by changing my wifi and PS passwords, as well as removing my card information. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a contact number to reach out directly. I kindly request your prompt assistance in resolving this issue. Thank you for your help.

I recently bought an external 2.5" HDD to back up my PlayStation 4. After choosing a brand based on reviews and recommendations, I found that the HDD isn't connecting to my PS4. Although the blue light on the drive is flashing, the PS4 does not recognize it. I've tried plugging it into my PC to format it to exFAT, rebooting my system, and rebuilding the database, but nothing has worked. Despite the HDD being powered on, the PS4 still doesn't acknowledge its presence. I'm at a loss and frustrated. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Every time I start my PS4, I encounter an error message prompting me to connect the DualShock 4 controller via USB and then insert a USB storage device with the system update file for version 6.71 or later. Despite downloading the file from the website and formatting my USB to both exFAT and FAT32, I continue to face issues. I've attempted various troubleshooting steps, including safe mode and changing the resolution, all to no avail. Even after trying to reinstall the update multiple times, I end up with error code SU-[redacted]-7, resulting in a boot loop. I'm unsure how to proceed from here and would appreciate any assistance. Thank you.

While enjoying a game of Fortnite and aiming for high kill games, I unexpectedly got logged out of my account. Suspecting the person responsible, I shared my account details with someone I was trading with on Instagram under the handle @bestfortnlteplugs. This individual promised me a rare account in exchange for mine. After providing my information first, I repeatedly asked for theirs, only to discover that they had deleted all their posts and vanished from the platform. Realizing I had fallen victim to a scam, I noticed no login activity on my account hours later. Despite reaching out to Sony for assistance, the reset process was mistakenly sent to the wrong email address.

A few days ago, I was banned due to a chargeback. I contacted PSN and informed them of the issue. They sent me an email with a 12-digit code to recover the account, but it turned out to be a gift card instead of a PSN card. I called again today at around 5 PM but ended up waiting for over an hour, realizing customer service closes at 6 PM. I just need the correct email sent to me promptly, please. Thank you.

My name is Frankie N. This morning, while I was at work, my PlayStation account was hacked, and over $[redacted] in fraudulent charges were made before my bank intervened. When I returned home, I discovered that my account had been banned for actions I did not commit. I have been a PlayStation Plus member since [redacted] and have never experienced this issue. I would appreciate it if my account could be re-activated. The error code displayed is WS-[redacted]-7.

Last Wednesday morning, in the early hours, my account was hacked, and $[redacted] was charged to my linked card. I immediately contacted support and was informed that I would receive an email to reset my password and account. Unfortunately, I have not received any communication since then, and I am still unable to reset my account. The promised refund of $[redacted] to my credit card has also not been processed. Despite my daily calls to customer service, I keep getting placed on hold. Today, I was assured a wait time of 60 minutes but it has now been 96 minutes without any assistance. My priority is to regain access to my account and have the $[redacted] refunded promptly.

I bought a PlayStation 4 for my daughter a year ago, but she rarely uses it. I prefer not to renew the subscription. Could you kindly refund the $79.95 deducted from her account yesterday? This money was meant for her netball trip, and she is currently in Gold Coast without enough funds due to this unexpected charge. The order number is [redacted]14. Thank you.

My son set up the two-step verification on my PS4 without understanding how it works. Now I'm locked out because I can't generate the codes and my phone is out of minutes to receive texts. I spoke to someone yesterday, but I wasn't able to provide the necessary information at the time. I'm available now and would really appreciate it if someone could help me get back in. Otherwise, my kids might have to step in and solve it, with some laughs at dad's expense. Please help me out.

Hello Good evening. I wanted to discuss a game I bought yesterday from the PS Store called "Dayz," which is the deal of the week. Despite being advertised, the game appears to be broken and unplayable. It struggles to register basic movements and actions. I can provide a video if needed. Is it possible to get a refund for the £29.99 spent on this unplayable game? It feels unethical and wrong to sell a game in this state. If a refund is not an option, I'd like this to be noted as a complaint. Thank you for your attention.

I bought a game for my brother last night, a fast and furious one for $6.99. After purchasing, I got an email confirming the purchase and a receipt. Unfortunately, when I try to play or download the game, it only shows as "purchased" without allowing me to access it. I've searched for it in add-ons, but it says "cannot find the application" when I click on it. I've attempted to contact support and tried various solutions without success. I'm hoping to either receive a refund or find a way to resolve this issue. Thank you for your assistance.

I own a PS3 in my living room that works perfectly fine. Recently, I purchased another PS3 from Game Stop for my bedroom, but it had a previous owner's name and password saved on it. I attempted to transfer my information from the first console to the second one, but it didn't work. I am unable to access the PlayStation Store, download anything, or utilize a new email and password. I need help resolving this issue.
