Hello, I have encountered an issue while trying to link my Elder Scrolls Online account to a new PSN account. Initially, I linked my ESO account to my family's PlayStation 4 console. However, I recently got my own PS4 and attempted to switch the account over, but encountered difficulties due to it being already linked to another PSN. After reaching out to The Elder Scrolls Online support and being directed to PlayStation Support, I have struggled to find a solution. Despite my efforts to seek help on the PlayStation forums, I have yet to receive a response. I have heard others have faced similar challenges and managed to resolve them. I had previously obtained Black Ops 4 in a bundle with my PS4 and later transferred it to a PS4 Pro. I returned the original PS4 with Black Ops 4 and bought the digital version of the game assuming I could play it right away. However, I still needed the disc to play. I ended up purchasing the disk version, but now I want a refund for the digital one since I haven't downloaded it. Despite explaining this to PS4 support, they claim I cannot get a refund as they see Black Ops 4 downloaded on my system. I believe they misunderstood as I only have the data from the disc, not the digital version. I need a refund as I haven't started the download and won't for fear of losing my chance for a refund. I received my PS4 as a gift on Christmas in [redacted], and I have always connected to the internet without any issues. Recently, after getting a new WiFi setup, both my Xbox and PS4 experienced random disconnections. While the Xbox's performance has improved after a fix to the WiFi, my PS4 continues to intermittently boot me offline, taking a few seconds to minutes to reconnect. I suspect the problem lies with the PlayStation itself rather than my router or internet since the Xbox is functioning well. This problem has persisted for several days, and despite searching online for solutions, I have not found a fix. Switching to a wired connection is a last resort for me, as I prefer to keep using wireless. If you could provide a solution, I would greatly appreciate it. Otherwise, I may need to consider obtaining a new PS4. If the issue cannot be resolved by you, I might have to contact Xfinity Internet Services to investigate potential interference. Thank you.

On January 13th, I signed up for a week trial of PlayStation Now. After enrolling in the trial, I promptly accessed my account settings, went to subscriptions, and disabled the auto-renewal feature. Although it took longer than expected to process the change, I eventually confirmed it by selecting "off." I immediately checked the status to ensure the auto-renewal was disabled, and it displayed as off. To my surprise, on the 20th, I was charged $21 for something I had turned off. I contacted chat support, but they claimed I had never disabled it and refused to issue a refund. This experience has left me feeling disappointed, as I have been a loyal Sony customer for fourteen years, starting from the PS One era. This incident has greatly impacted my trust in Sony, and I am hesitant to continue supporting them financially.

Yesterday, while playing Madden, two individuals approached me about my team. They claimed to run a Madden community offering challenges, help, and hints. Unfortunately, they scammed me out of 14 elite players and 1.28 million coins, including top players like Steve Smith Sr., Tyreek Hill, Jonathan Ogden, and others. Their PSN IDs are The_CornDawg and Fishingcrazy04. This incident has left me devastated as I invested a lot of time and money into the game. I am seeking assistance to recover my lost cards and coins and ensure these scammers are banned. I provided their IP address and hostname. Please help me resolve this urgent matter.

My friend TheSilentDuckHD is facing false reports on his account due to an incident in a group chat that he did not intend to be offensive. He has mental health and learning difficulties and is very distressed about the situation. Could you please investigate these reports and possibly send him a message through PlayStation to explain the situation further? A few months ago, I noticed that PlayStation was offering a $2 trial to link Spotify with my account. I attempted to do this but was unsuccessful. Later, I realized that PlayStation had been charging me $9.99 per month for Spotify for the past 3 months, resulting in double payments for Spotify subscriptions. The confusion arose because my PlayStation confirmation emails were sent to [redacted] instead of [redacted], my Spotify email. I have not used PS4 with Spotify and would like to close this unexpected subscription and request a refund. I encountered issues resetting my password online due to forgetting the one I used initially. Resetting it requires verifying my date of birth, which I did not accurately input during registration. I am unsure why I am being double-charged for Spotify and need assistance investigating this matter and cancelling the subscription or accessing my account for cancellation purposes. Thank you.

Hi Sony, Please refer to the attachment for better understanding. I purchased a game package with a complimentary 3-month PS PLUS SUBSCRIPTION and ensured that auto-renewal was disabled after the 3-month period. However, PayPal still auto-renewed and billed me, which seems unfair. PayPal even waited for a response from Sony, but none was provided. As a result, my account was banned and I am very frustrated. I hope Sony is looking into this issue thoroughly. Kindly lift the ban on my PSN account. If I do not hear back from Sony, I may consider sharing my experience on Reddit to inform other users about the situation with Sony SEN.

I recently purchased RE2 Remake, but encountered an error prompting me to delete and redownload due to corruption. Despite troubleshooting steps and exchanging physical copies for a digital one at GameStop, the issue persists. Curiously, another new game functions flawlessly on my system. I extensively tested additional games with no issues for about 30 minutes each. Before resorting to repair or replacement, I would appreciate any suggestions to resolve this ongoing problem. I have been eagerly anticipating playing RE2 Remake and find it disappointing that I am unable to do so after attempting multiple copies.

I purchased Resident Evil Remake on Friday, got it installed, and was eager to play. However, I encountered a message saying the data was corrupted and needed to be deleted and redownloaded. After spending hours doing this multiple times, I still received the CE-*****-* error. I tried troubleshooting steps like rebuilding in safe mode and reinitializing my system to no avail. Even after exchanging the physical copy for a digital one at Gamestop, I continued to face the same issue. This was perplexing to me as another new game I purchased worked flawlessly. Despite testing other games without any trouble, RE* Remake remains problematic. I'm disappointed as I've been eagerly anticipating playing this game since its announcement. If there are any other suggestions before resorting to sending in my system or replacing it, I would greatly appreciate it.

Hello, I would like to address my recent experience with the service provided for my PS4 under service number W-[redacted]0. Despite being aware that my unit was not covered by warranty, I still opted to pay $[redacted].00 for what I presumed would be a reasonable price for refurbishing the console with necessary parts. Upon its return, the technicians claimed the PS4 had water damage, which I find hard to believe as it is always placed in a specific dry location on my TV stand. I suspect the issue lies with the motherboard, as now, after receiving the console back, it only flashes a blue light and fails to function properly when powered on. If the model is outdated, I would appreciate Sony offering repair services at a fair price or providing a coupon for a new unit. I have other consoles like the PS2 sitting in proximity to the PS4, and they remain unaffected by water damage. In comparison, my older consoles from Nintendo are still operational, reinforcing my disappointment with the durability of the PS4 given its initial high cost. I am questioning why I received a warning. Could it be because I referred to another player in a negative manner and blocked them? I am a 52-year-old player engaging in PVE gameplay and I'm consistently harassed by another player who enjoys griefing me in the game. It seems there is no protection available for players like myself against such behavior. Participating in PVP is not my preference, and I feel helpless being targeted by griefers every time I log on. I only wish to enjoy the game without being stalked or hunted down by individuals who find pleasure in making my experience miserable. PVE players lack the ability to defend themselves against PVP players who can attack them but remain untouchable in return. The system in place does not seem to address this issue, leaving me feeling frustrated and contemplating leaving the network. The continual griefing has taken a toll on my well-being, and the recent warning I received only adds to my distress. It is important for the platform to address and prevent such behavior to ensure a safer and more enjoyable gaming environment for all players. My experience on the console has been marred by consistent errors and disruptions, further adding to my frustration. I hope for a resolution to these challenges and a more supportive stance towards players facing similar issues. Thank you.

My recently acquired PS4, a Christmas gift, is encountering a persistent issue. Upon powering on, the system initiates a "checking system storage status" process before restarting. However, after displaying the PS logo, the screen goes black, rendering the console unusable. Despite attempting various Safe Mode options to resolve the issue, including all but the "Reinitialize" option, the problem persists. This issue arose following problems with the Spider-Man Silver Lining DLC, which led to consistent freezing and "corrupted data" messages, eventually causing a complete system malfunction. The console functioned flawlessly before these occurrences, making the current situation frustrating and hindering gameplay.

Hello, My name is Chris. Today, I checked my PS4 account online and was surprised to see that it's banned. Recently, I encountered an issue where I was double-charged for renewing my Playstation + account. I immediately contacted customer service to explain the mistake and requested a refund for both charges as I intended to renew my subscription on Feb. 23rd. Unfortunately, my conversation with the manager was unproductive. Despite my explanations and request to delay the renewal, I was only refunded for one charge due to their policy. Dissatisfied with the treatment, I had to involve PayPal to reverse the transaction. I urge customer service to handle such cases with more understanding and respect. I experienced a power outage while playing on my PS4, and I had to reset it, leading me to log in to my accounts again. I have successfully restored one account, but I can't remember the email address associated with the other one. I have searched through all my email accounts but can't locate the emails related to the lost account, only finding messages for the account I recovered. I would be grateful for your assistance in recovering my lost account, which contains games I can't access on the other one, such as "The Last of Us." The username of the restored account is “Daniel Flugel Cohen,” while the username of the lost account is “Daniel Flügel Cohen.” Both profiles feature a picture of me, and the last game I played was “Nier: Automata.” I believe the password for the lost account is the same as the one for the restored account, but I'm not completely certain. As a loyal PlayStation user since the PS1, I recently made a switch to Xbox X due to recommendations about its superior graphics. However, my experience with Xbox Live was marred by constant errors, making gaming frustrating. To add to the disappointment, my Xbox X malfunctioned after a year, causing me to lose games and accessories valued at nearly $[redacted]. I decided to go back to my roots and traded everything in for a PS4 Pro, where I found the joy of gaming again. Hello, I am currently stationed in Japan as a U.S. Marine. Recently, I was suspended from my account for alleged "hate" speech during a gaming session on a U.S. West server. Despite experiencing high ping, I managed to make an impressive shot, leading to banter with other players. Things escalated when they made disrespectful comments about Japan and the military, including wishing harm upon me and my family. As a Marine, I felt the need to defend my service and the sacrifices made by my comrades. I did not wish harm upon anyone, but I stood my ground against the insults and threats.
