When I power on my PlayStation, I encounter a message stating, ‘Cannot start PS4. Connect DualShock4 using USB cable, then press PS button.’ This prompts me to update the system to version 6.20. Oddly, I had already updated it before leaving college, where it worked fine. However, upon returning home, it requires an update again. Following the instructions, I attempted to update using a USB drive that only contained the update file. Unfortunately, the PlayStation couldn't detect the USB drive. I have exhausted all options and would be grateful for any assistance. Thank you.

I purchased a PS4 for my 9-year-old son, but I'm not very tech-savvy. Even after setting up the internet connection, headset, and games, my son couldn't play online with his friends. I tried creating another account, losing the year pass and games in the process. After paying again to get back online, the same issue occurred. Now, I'm unable to create another account as it seems to be blocked or temporarily suspended. I spent a lot on this PS4, which I was told was an unwanted gift, but now it seems like something fishy is going on. I'm at a loss, and the stress during this holiday season is overwhelming. I've tried everything to contact support but no luck. Can someone please assist me? It's frustrating to spend money on a product and not have control over it. I hope to resolve this issue before Christmas as I cannot afford to buy another one. Thank you.

I need to report an issue with my PSN account. I primarily play Fortnite on my PS4, so my Epic Games account is linked to my PSN. Recently, my PSN account was hacked, but luckily my Epic Games account remains secure. However, I'm unable to access Fortnite on my PS4, as the account is linked. I thought of playing on PC or mobile, but I lack a PC and don't enjoy mobile gaming. I've attempted various solutions, but I cannot recall my Gmail password to verify my email. I've reported the hacker from my other PSN account, but no action has been taken, and I haven't received any communication. Numerous personal items are associated with my account that I would like to retrieve or transfer to a new account.

I am reporting an issue with my PSN account. I primarily play Fortnite on PS4, and my Epic Games account is linked to my PSN. Unfortunately, my PSN account was hacked, but my Epic Games account remains secure. I am unable to access Fortnite on PS4, as my account is linked. Hello, I asked my cousin, who lives with me, to buy a $25 PSN card and download "Hollow Knight" for me while I'm out working. I instructed him to keep the remaining $10 for other purchases upon my return. However, he also bought "Zombie Army Trilogy" without my consent, despite my clear instructions. I am upset about this and would like a refund for "Zombie Army Trilogy" to be credited back to my wallet. Additionally, I recently discovered that "Hollow Knight" is now on sale. Can I receive a refund for the price difference since my purchase was made just a few days ago? I wish to keep "Hollow Knight" but would like to benefit from the sale price.

I noticed unauthorized charges on my account which led to my son's account being banned without prior notice. We had over $[redacted] in the PlayStation account for Fortnite, and he just added V-Bucks on Friday. This has resulted in him losing everything including his birthday and Christmas gifts. Had we known, we would have gladly paid the $[redacted] to avoid this situation. I'm seeking a resolution urgently to recover his account and salvage Christmas. I am facing a major issue with my Sony product. My son received money for Christmas, and we attempted to purchase the Fortnite $24.99 package. However, we realized that $25 wasn't enough due to taxes. When we tried to change the amount to $50, the wallet money amount unexpectedly kept rising. Concerned about the increasing balance, I decided not to confirm the purchase, as I saw $[redacted] in the wallet and did not want that much to be deducted from my account. In an attempt to resolve the issue, I deleted my PayPal account to see if the $[redacted] would disappear. To my dismay, I later discovered that the amount had been deducted from my account. I have disputed the charges as I never confirmed the purchase. I am reaching out for assistance as I cannot afford to pay $[redacted], especially since my son only has $27 to spend. This incident has greatly affected our Christmas celebration.

Yesterday, I shared a game with a friend, and everything was fine until suddenly, all my games became locked, preventing me from playing them. To fix this, I restored my PS4 to default settings and restarted it. When I tried to access my account where the games were locked, I realized I had forgotten the email associated with it. The user ID of the account is 'Feeelo-'. Is there any way to help me retrieve the account information associated with this user ID?

A few days ago, I purchased a $25 PSN card to buy a game, but it didn't cover the full cost of the game, so I used the remaining balance for something else, leaving me with just 3 cents. Today, I bought a $50 Visa gift card to purchase the game I wanted. However, when I added the Visa gift card to my account, it did not increase my balance from 3 cents. When I tried to buy the game using the $50 Visa gift card, I received a credit card error and my balance remained at 3 cents. I am stuck with this 3 cents balance and need to remove it to make the purchase. Since the 3 cents are from a PSN card, I am unable to delete it directly. I would appreciate any assistance to resolve this issue and be able to buy the game I want.

Hello, I hope you're well. I have been noticing a recurring payment of $9.99 for PlayStation Network in my bank account without any description or authorization. This transaction under "DEBIT CARD RECURRING PAYMENT SIE*PLAYSTATIONNETWORK [redacted] CA" has happened twice now, and I haven't shared my bank information for this. I don't have any recurring payments set up with my membership and would like these unauthorized charges to be stopped. Thank you for your assistance.

My account, ShahilT1000, has been compromised by another user, ShahilT800, whom I had shared my account with two years ago. Recently, I discovered that ShahilT800 had been logging into my account without my knowledge and using it to play games like Just Cause 4, Spiderman, and Black Ops. I found out that my account was suspended for three days due to hate messages being sent from it, which I believe was done by the other user. My passion for gaming is evident as I have a YouTube channel, ShahilT1000, where I share my gaming videos. I am willing to apologize and offer a PSN gift card to make amends for any harm caused. I kindly request the ban on my account be lifted so that I can resume playing and secure my account by changing the password to prevent unauthorized access. I gave my old account (ShahilT800) to someone two years ago, and he has been using my account as primary (ShahilT1000) on his Playstation to benefit from the games and PS+ subscription. I no longer talk to him or play with him. Recently, I found out he has been logging into my account (ShahilT1000) and playing games I've bought like Spiderman, Just Cause 4, and Black Ops 4. Despite being okay with him progressing through the games, I discovered he was sending hate messages from my account resulting in a 7-day suspension. I've confronted him, but the behavior continued. Now, while on holiday, I would like to apologize to the affected person and offer a PSN gift card. I request a close review of the situation, lifting the ban, and allowing me to change my password. I've been a PS4 player for four years. Thank you.

Although I no longer talk to him or play with him, he has been logging into my account (ShahilT1000) and playing games I recently purchased like Spider-Man, Just Cause 4, and Black Ops 4. I discovered that he was sending hate messages from my account, resulting in a 3-day suspension. After discussing this with him, he agreed to stop the behavior. Unfortunately, he repeated the offense, leading to a 7-day suspension. I am currently on holiday and play regularly. I would like to apologize to the recipient of the hate message and even offer a PSN gift card as compensation if possible. I kindly request a close investigation into the situation to lift the ban and allow me to change my password. It is December, and I have been a PS4 player for four years. I have been experiencing harassment from a player on PlayStation 4 named Jessica Alvarez, who claims to be a hacker. They have been making false accusations and threats against me, such as calling me a child groomer and a pedophile, even though they do not know me. Despite blocking them, Jessica Alvarez has created multiple accounts to contact me and continue the harassment on PlayStation. This person is spreading my personal information from Facebook without my consent and spreading harmful lies about me. I am Dakari Bates, and I believe Jessica Alvarez has malicious intentions and has been threatening me for some time now.

Hello Playstation, I go by the username JAHMASEO and I encountered an issue after my PS4 got unplugged during an accident while in rest mode. When I logged back into my account, most of the games displayed on the dashboard had a triangle symbol with an exclamation point, along with the message prompting to connect the extended storage device or reinstall the game. I noticed that games like Fortnite were unaffected as they were not downloaded. I attempted to restore licenses, but the error persisted. I recently purchased a second PlayStation 4 controller to play Black Ops 4 split screen with a friend at my house. However, I am encountering an issue where it is prompting me to sign into the PlayStation Network to access the features. I have a subscription for the PlayStation Network for a year. I tried to input my credentials under a different username created on the same console, but I am receiving an error message stating that the account is already in use on this console. I am puzzled as to why I cannot utilize the subscription I paid for on the same PlayStation 4 with the same game and two controllers for split-screen play.

Last year, I purchased a 12-month PSN subscription for my son. Unfortunately, I wasn't aware that activating the membership would set it to auto-renew for the next year. Unknowingly, it renewed when we had already bought another subscription card. The auto-renewal charged my bank account, and the duplicate card purchase cannot be returned. I'm looking to cancel the auto-renewal, get a refund on the 12-month subscription charged, and have my son enter the new card information for his membership. Is this possible? If so, could you please guide me through the process?

I recently discovered that bonus content codes for Red Dead Redemption 2 are single-use and tied to the profile that redeemed them. Unfortunately, the pre-order bonuses ended up on my profile and the special edition content on my sister's. While I understand the codes are non-transferable, I am hoping to have the pre-order bonuses moved to her profile. The add-on code "CL4K-95N5-NAGH" needs to be canceled and reissued for her account. She was excited about the game, and my error has caused this inconvenience. If this request cannot be accommodated, I am willing to purchase a new code for the pre-order bonuses. I recently added a $25 PSN card to my account to purchase Injustice 2 on sale. After leaving my game on for 4 hours, I noticed my account was logged in on another PS4 and my PSN card was used for Fortnite without my authorization. I suspect my friend Indae, who occasionally uses my account, might have made this purchase. I have changed my password but would like to know if a refund is possible for this unauthorized transaction.
