In the summer of [redacted], I purchased a PlayStation and dedicated a lot of time to playing ESO and Fortnite, achieving over [redacted] wins in just a month. However, I recently discovered that my PlayStation account "PHILL3YST3AK" is not linked to my main Gmail account as I thought. Instead, an old account named "m8itnasty" is connected to my Gmail. This is concerning because I have made significant progress, with over [redacted] CP levels in ESO and numerous Fortnite wins, which I don't want to lose. I had to take a break from gaming due to a broken PS4, and now that I am getting a new one, I need help to resolve this account mix-up. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Hello, I need help. My niece downloaded Fortnite for my son on his PS4 without my knowledge and used an old email address to set up an account. I reached out to Epic Games to change the email so I can adjust his username, but they declined. I want to erase all data on the PS4 and start fresh. I tried deleting the game, but the data is still there. Fortnite doesn't appear in the data deletion list. I'm unsure how to proceed, but I want to ensure I have control over the games my son plays.

Hello, I hope you're well. After being away for several weeks, I returned home to find out that my brother has been using my PS4 and account, resulting in it being permanently banned due to harassment in messages. I possess numerous downloaded games on this account. I assure you that there will be no further messages to strangers and my brother will only use the account when I am present. I kindly request Sony to lift the ban on my account. I have recently added a password to secure it. My account username is BossDestroyer956. My son requested his mother's credit card number to download a game for his birthday. She passed it to me to input on his PS4. I announced it to him, and he input it. Following the purchase, he was instructed to remove the credit card number. When attempting to delete the number, a password was required, which he claims to have forgotten. He can still make purchases and downloads without the password but struggles to delete the credit card details due to this security measure. Any assistance on how to eradicate the card info without the password would be welcomed. Alternatively, guidance on changing the password if necessary would be appreciated.

I suspect that my neighbor intentionally accessed my autistic son's PlayStation account. I recently discovered an offensive message from another player named safccrew, referring to my son as "sexy boy," which is inappropriate. Despite setting up parental controls, they were disabled without my consent on my son's PS4. I suspect my neighbor, Christopher K., is responsible for this breach. It is baffling as to why he would do this since we do not associate with him or his family. The fact that he sent messages referring to my child in such a manner is deeply concerning and inappropriate.

Every time I open Red Dead Redemption 2, during the loading screen, I notice distorted and pixelated portions that do not match the rest of the picture. For example, if there's a snowy background, symmetrical rectangles with various colors appear in random spots. This issue is specific to this game and doesn't happen with others on my TV. Once the game loads, I can play for about 10-60 seconds before receiving the (CE-[redacted]-0) error. Sony suggests initializing the PS4, which would delete everything on it, making it a confusing solution. This problem started after my TV didn't display the PS4 via HDMI. When I couldn't turn off the PS4 and the TV didn't respond, I unplugged the PS4, risking data loss. This seems to have damaged the game save for RDR2, causing continuous frustration. I'm unsure if there's any way to fix this and save my progress.

Sony's website suggests backing up saved data and initializing the PS4 Pro, which would wipe all data. This problem arose after difficulties with the PS4 not displaying on the TV via HDMI, leading me to unplug the console while it was on, fearing potential data damage. I suspect the RDR2 save data might be corrupted, causing frustration given my invested time in the game. I wonder if there's a solution to fix this and continue playing without issue.

I accidentally purchased the Infinity Warfare: Triple Quartermaster Collection Hack offer using the COD points I received from pre-ordering the Black Ops 4 Season Pass. I did not intend to buy this and I do not want it. Despite the purchase, I did not receive anything, so I essentially lost [redacted] CP for nothing. My PlayStation screen went black, and when it came back, it indicated that I had made this purchase. I tried to cancel it, but I did not receive any content while my [redacted] CP was deducted. I am extremely frustrated and I am requesting assistance to reverse this error, as it was not my fault. Please refund my COD points so I can use them for other campaigns or new guns. I appreciate your help in resolving this issue.

I accidentally purchased the Infinity Warfare: Triple Quartermaster Collection pack using [redacted] CP that I received from pre-ordering the Black Ops 4 season pass. I tried to cancel the purchase but was unable to. I am really upset about losing my CP and not getting the items. I would appreciate it if you could fix this error and refund my CP back to me. When I tried turning on my PS4, it kept going into safe mode. I followed the instructions to reinstall the system software using a USB storage device with the update file for version 6.02 or later. However, I encountered an error message (CE-[redacted]-0) saying the update file couldn't be used. After several unsuccessful attempts, I deleted and re-downloaded the update file onto the USB. This time, I tried updating the system software directly through safe mode. I selected "update from USB storage device" and let it copy the file before initiating the update process. The installation proceeded, but after restarting, it brought me back to safe mode in a continuous loop. I'm struggling to resolve this issue and would appreciate any assistance.

Hello, I am Jemiah. I am reaching out regarding an issue with my PS4 account. A few minutes ago, I turned on my PS4 and tried to access my profile, only to find out that I had been signed out. I thought there might be an update, so I tried signing back in. To my surprise, I received a message stating that my access to PlayStation Network had been banned for violating the terms of service and user agreement. I am confused because I have never violated any rules and I do not understand why this message appeared. I attempted to log into my account on the PSN website, but it was unsuccessful. I have no idea what violation my account is being accused of, and I do not have any intention of breaking any rules. I was using my PS4 last night, then I put it in rest mode and went to sleep. I just logged in now after being offline all night to find this message. I am unsure if someone has tampered with my account. I have been a loyal PlayStation user for many years and this is the first time I have encountered such a message. Dear Sir or Madam, I had added the game "Friday the 13th" to my PS+ basket because it was free, but my PS+ membership wasn't active at the time. Due to insufficient funds in my bank account, I left the game and PS+ renewal in the basket for a couple of days. When I returned to purchase after adding funds, the game was no longer free in the PS+ rotation. I unintentionally paid [redacted] CZK for a game I believed was free. Hello! I'm experiencing a problem with my controller. The audio jack isn’t working. I've attempted to troubleshoot it multiple times without success. It's a DUALSHOCK 4 controller in Green Camouflage with a 3.5mm jack. The headphones function well with my other PS4 controller, which has its own issues like a faulty analog stick. I've followed the tips on the PS4 website, checked audio devices, and made sure the headphones are plugged in correctly, but nothing has resolved the issue. It seems to be a problem with the audio jack. I'm seeking advice on how to fix it at home or if I should take it to a repair shop. Thank you for your help!

I've had my PlayStation for three years, but last week, I discovered I was banned. I'm not sure why, as I've never scammed anyone. Interestingly, this happened to some friends and two cousins as well. I've spent over $[redacted] on my account during these three years without any problems. I did some research and found out that some users were unable to recover their accounts after being permanently banned. I'm determined to get my account back because I believe I'm innocent. They mentioned I need to provide pictures of receipts showing PSN card purchases, but I don't have those receipts anymore as I didn't anticipate this issue. I will start saving them from now on. My PS4 account was recently suspended, and the reason they provided doesn't make sense. I have never engaged in any suspicious activities like scanning, and I am a loyal Sony customer. I am frustrated because I have invested $[redacted] in my account, and they claim I can't recover it due to supposed violations. I request assistance as I am not involved in any scams and find it unfair. I am upset about the situation, especially since I regularly ask my dad for money to buy Vbucks. I attempted to connect to PSN and encountered an issue with my old email being used. Upon receiving a concerning message about the email appearing on the dark web, I deleted it ([redacted]). Now, when trying to access the network, I'm informed that my password is incorrect. Unfortunately, I can't update my email without logging in first. As the password reset link would be sent to an inaccessible email, I'm at a loss on how to proceed. I am frustrated that my primary console was moved to another PS4 system for the second time, affecting my ability to play games offline and use remote play. Despite deactivating all devices earlier this year, the issue has recurred in less than 6 months. I am eagerly waiting to deactivate the current device once the 6-month period is over, and I hope to resolve this issue promptly so I can enjoy remote play again.

I would like to inquire about the timeframe before the 6-month limit is reached for me to designate my console as the primary device again. My account has unfortunately been compromised twice and linked to a different system. Earlier this year, I had to utilize the disable all devices function as my console had been linked to a random system. Despite resetting it back, it was once again connected to another system after a few months. I have not shared my information with anyone, so I am frustrated with these repeated breaches. It is crucial for me to use remote play immediately, but I am unable to do so. With 81 purchased games on my account, I am seeking assistance to reset it and regain full access to the features. I am unable to access my PlayStation 4 account. Despite trying to reset my password, I have not received any email. Additionally, I received an email from Sony regarding a refund of $69.96, which I did not request. The email states that the refund may take 1-2 billing cycles to appear on my credit card statement. According to the PSN terms of service, users are responsible for safeguarding their account information. The email provides a case number and instructs me to contact my credit card company for further details on the refund process. It also includes a link to Sony's Privacy Policy and advises against replying directly to the email for security reasons. If needed, I can reach out to a PlayStation specialist through their chat service using the provided case number.

I own a PlayStation Vita bought in the USA around [redacted] or [redacted]. I haven't logged into the PlayStation Network for years. Recently, I mistakenly entered the wrong keyboard key and now I can't remember my password to log in. When I input my sign-in ID and birthday, it says, "Cannot use this information." It's been so long since I've accessed my account that I no longer have the email address I used for my Vita purchase. My sign-in ID is SLOGAN_FIVE. I still have the credit card I used years ago on the PlayStation Network store. Perhaps this information can help with recovering my password. After resolving the password issue, I would appreciate guidance on adding my current email and phone number to my PlayStation Network account for V2 verification.
