my ps* system (original run, not a slim or pro) automatically went into safe mode on its own and told me to reinstall the system software. As I have had the problem before I plugged in my USB as usual with *.** on it and everything seemed fine as it went through and reinstalled, however after it restarted and the PlayStation logo came on the screen the system locked up once more and took me back to the screen telling me once again to reinstall the system software. I have now done this same process ** times with no progress being made. I have also tried turning it off and putting it in safe mode manually and using the reinitialize, initialize and rebuild database options also with no progress
