I went in to the club that I chose (Euclid Ave San Diego California) on February **, **** to cancel my membership. I have never used it. On that day, the woman at the desk said that it was no problem. My membership would be terminated as of that day. She did not issue me a barcode or anything. It was strictly a cancellation visit. I was charged $** for the month of February and now $** for the month of March. I contacted the club via phone today, March **, **** to ask why it is that they are still charging me when I had canceled in accordance to the instructions on your website. I cannot go in person nor use the club even if I wanted to now because I am sick and according to local public health guidelines, I cannot go out. I should not be charged for the month of March simply because the staff member at the club is incompetent and*or poorly trained. This is an extremely negative experience with Planet Fitness. It is unfortunate that you choose to do business this way.
