Dear Sir*Madam**My name is Christy Robbins and I am a Grade ** learner at Rustenburg Girls’ High School and apart of the Habitat for Humanity society.**Habitat for Humanity is a global non-profit organization, aiming to eradicate informal housing in the world.**In South Africa, our very own Habitat For Humanity South Africa works to this.* They organize build events, where people can build houses with the help of builders on site. To do this, they need to raise funds which can pay for the materials.**A group of schools from Cape Town (Rustenburg, Westerford, Bishops, Herschel and Rondebosch) run an annual fundraiser in order to get money which they can use to build houses for those who need them. This event is called Cyclathon, and it is a **-hour event which is held at the V&A Waterfront every year.**Next year, the event will take place from Friday ** January to Saturday ** January ****.**During the event, people cycle on stationary bikes on stage, while local bands and artists perform for the audience. We also hold raffles every hour on the hour and this is how we raise funds. We ask for businesses to either donate money towards the cause or to give prizes to us which we can use.**If a company is willing to kindly contribute, they are to please send a clear photo of their logo which will be put up on the stage during the event, throughout the entire ** hours.
