Company: Photobucket**I have been trying to work with them to get my images restored. I’ve also tried thru GetHuman, but it is still unresolved.**So today I tried again, by filing a new complaint with Photobucket. It should be self explanatory.**I can see others have this issue. It’s clear the company is just trying to make more profits, but it’s unfair: we shouldn’t have to upgrade for a service we no longer use.**And it is logistically impossible to move my images to a competing company. So they know they have us. It’s a form of blackmail: pay up or your (legally, copyrighted) images will be destroyed.**What I wrote:**As I am not uploading photos, I do not have any need to upgrade.**Therefore I must insist that you please, effective immediately, remove your watermarks and permanently restore my status from restrictive.**I was not only a loyal customer, but because my blog was the largest of its kind in the UK, and one of the largest globally, I was such a fan of photobucket that I even did a post encouraging other bloggers to use it, with instructions and a link to your site.**As one who helped expand the brand, I feel it is a bit unfair that you’ve been doing this to me repeatedly.**I really don’t want to have to take legal action on this, but it’s getting ridiculous. This has been going on for many months, and this isn’t the first time you’ve tried. It can’t be good for customer relations, as I know I’m not the only one, and people can choose to go to thr competitions brands.**Thank you. I am looking forward to hearing that someone has looked at my account, seen that I am being reasonable, and that you’ve removed my restrictive status, and restored my images to the way they were posted.
