I ordered food from Swiggy via PhonePe on 23/10/[redacted] for Rs624, but received the wrong items. I requested a refund of Rs604, which was supposed to be processed within nine days. Despite the PhonePe app indicating the refund was credited back to my bank account, I have not received it. I opened a ticket with ID #[redacted]2 on the app and was informed that there would be an update by 5/11/[redacted], but I have not received any further information. I followed up again but have not received a response from the support team. I kindly ask for a prompt resolution to this issue and the refund of my money. Thank you, Sailo.

Hello, I am writing to report an issue with my premium payment for December 3, [redacted] to LIC. I used the PHONE PE payment method via the LIC online site, and while the transaction was successful on PHONE PE's end, I have not received the payment receipt. Despite contacting LIC customer care multiple times, they have advised that the receipt will be displayed after the due date. However, I was also told by PCMC.CELL that I would receive the premium payment receipt within 48 hours, but it has now been 7 days without any communication or receipt. For your reference, the Complaint Reference numbers are P[redacted]1 and [redacted]. I have attached a screenshot from PHONE PE for your review. Upon checking the status, I was informed that the transaction was not successful and LIC has not received the payment. If the amount was debited from my account, I am advised to follow up with my bank for the reversal of the amount. Could you please assist me in resolving this matter promptly?

Issue: Amount deducted but order not confirmed. I contacted PhonePe, and they informed me that my transaction (Transaction ID: P[redacted][redacted]55) for ₹88.5 (UTR number: [redacted]47) was successful. However, Zomato stated that PhonePe is not their partner and they did not receive my payment. I need to investigate this matter further as there seems to be a discrepancy between the statements from PhonePe and Zomato. If this is not resolved, I will escalate this to the consumer forum.

Hello, my name is Naresh. I am hoping you can understand the issue I encountered on 01/04/[redacted] and assist in resolving it. The UTR number involved is [redacted]72. I received Rs100 in one transaction that was credited to my bank account. However, when I transferred the same amount to the receiver's bank account using the mobile number, my balance decreased by Rs100 in my actual account balance. Upon reviewing my transactions on the PhonePe app, everything appears to be accurate. Yet, when I checked the last 10 transactions through online banking, it showed that the amount was debited twice. The first transaction was labeled as "To transfer UPI/REV/[redacted]72" and the second as the actual transfer to the receiver. I am certain I only made one transaction, but online banking shows two, resulting in a deduction of Rs100 from my bank account balance. I visited my branch the next day to inquire about this issue, and they advised me to contact customer service regarding a refund. Despite filing a complaint through the PhonePe application without a response, I am hopeful you can understand my predicament and promptly resolve this matter by refunding the balance to my bank account. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

I am writing to report a double debit issue regarding a transfer I made. On 21.01.[redacted], I, M. Madhusudhan, a State Bank of Hyderabad account holder at the Gruhakalpa Branch in Nampally, Hyderabad with Account Number: [redacted]4, transferred Rs. [redacted] to Mr. B. Bhanu Chandar Goud, an Axis Bank account holder with account number: [redacted][redacted] using the PhonePe Mobile App. My bank statement (attached) shows the amount was debited twice. I've asked the recipient to check his statement (also attached) to confirm he received the correct amount only once. The recipient's statement shows the correct amount of 2,[redacted]. I kindly request a review of the details and a refund of the overcharged amount back to my account. Your prompt assistance in resolving this matter is greatly appreciated.

On February 16, [redacted], I used your PhonePe app to transfer Rs. [redacted] from my PhonePe wallet to HDFC Bank account number [redacted][redacted]. However, during the transfer, an app called "Google Play" appeared on my phone screen and the money was inadvertently sent there instead, deducting Rs. [redacted] from my account. Despite my efforts to seek a refund by contacting Google Play branches and customer service, they explained that PhonePe should have prompted me with a purchase code or email confirmation before the transaction, which did not happen. This error has caused me both mental and financial distress. I kindly request a refund of the Rs. [redacted] to be credited back to my HDFC Bank account number [redacted][redacted] with IFSC code HDFC[redacted] at your earliest convenience. Thank you. Sincerely, Harish Chand

Hello sir, I am a long-time customer who uses my phone frequently. I have recommended many people around me to use the phone, and thanks to my advice, many have started using it. However, I have a concern regarding using apps on the phone. On February 17th, I made a transaction of ₹13,[redacted] from my account over the phone, but the money was deducted from my account and the receiving party did not get it. Your customer service representatives have mentioned that the payment will be refunded within four to five days. But one important point to note is that the recipient of the money is currently admitted to the hospital, and you can understand that ₹[redacted] is crucial for their treatment. I kindly request you to refund my ₹[redacted] by tomorrow morning. If not, I might have to advise those I recommended against using the phone. Please process my refund. My registered mobile number is [redacted].

Hello, I've been utilizing PhonePe for the last few months, and it has been working well. However, recently, I've encountered an issue with using PhonePe UPI to transfer money. Despite reaching out to your chat customer service, the response I received was, "UPI transaction was declined due to security reasons, and to continue using UPI, I need to use a more secure device." I have not altered or rooted my device in any manner. I would appreciate clarification on what caused this problem and how I can resolve it. Additionally, it would be beneficial if the efficiency of the chat customer service could be improved. Thank you.

I purchased a mobile from Flipkart on 30th March. The transaction didn't go through, but the amount was deducted. The refund was supposed to be processed by 8th April. I contacted customer care through the phone for help, but they keep shifting blame and delaying the refund date from 8th to 9th, then to 10th, 12th, and now 14th. I have waited enough and am going to the police station to file a complaint. I urge everyone not to use such fake applications; this is a fraudulent company causing me so much trouble. I regret using this phone.

Hi PhonePe, I recently received a notice from my bank regarding a transaction with REF NO - [redacted]45, where I sent INR 20/- on 3 April [redacted] in Kochi, Kerala. The bank is requesting information about the merchant, identified as Abdul Basheer in their communication. They are asking for the nationality and date of birth of the counterparty, which seems unusual to me. I assume you must have conducted a KYC check on the merchant before allowing transactions, so I am reaching out to you for help with providing this information. My bank mentioned the possibility of blocking my account if I am unable to provide these details. I appreciate any assistance you can offer regarding this matter. Regards, Manmeet Singh

Hello, I am Pavan. My friend sent me money through PhonePe. The transaction was successful, and the amount was debited from my friend's account, but it has not been credited to my account. In my PhonePe transaction history, I can see the transaction ID and UTR number, but when I consulted my bank, they could not find the UTR number in my account. My friend checked with their bank, and they confirmed that the amount was debited. I believe that PhonePe might have the amount in a pending transaction, and they should return it to the sender's bank. I have faced similar issues in the past with small amounts, but this time I am concerned. The PhonePe customer service representatives have been trained well, but the issue remains unresolved. Do you have any suggestions or ideas? Thank you.

I have recently experienced a fraudulent transaction that took place after I posted an item on OLX and received a call from a potential buyer. The individual claimed to transfer money via PhonePe and asked me to click on a message that would confirm a payment of Rs. [redacted]. Unfortunately, instead of receiving the money, the amount was debited from my account. When I tried to contact the individual for a refund, they stopped responding to my calls. I am seeking assistance in identifying the individual's account details to pursue a police complaint regarding this fraud. First and foremost, I must say that your toll-free customer care number is frustrating. Despite selecting options for English or Hindi, I am still waiting for a response. What kind of number is this? I have money in my Flipkart wallet, but when I try to recharge through Flipkart, it redirects me to PhonePe. However, during payment, there is no option to use the Flipkart wallet; only other wallet options like Oxygen, Freecharge, and others are available. After speaking with a Flipkart representative, I was advised to contact PhonePe customer care. They mentioned a collaboration between Flipkart and PhonePe, explaining the redirect during recharge. Now, if there are issues with recharging, they suggested contacting PhonePe for assistance. Could you explain why there is no option to use the Flipkart wallet? Please address this promptly and resolve the issue with your customer care number.

Dear NAGESH M. D., We have noted that an amount of Rs.[redacted].0 was debited for your unsuccessful transaction. Usually, Dena Bank reverses the debited amount back to your account within one working day from the transaction date. Please refer to your updated bank statement for the credit confirmation. If you do not receive the refund within the stipulated time, we advise you to contact your bank and initiate a chargeback. Kindly note that there might be a delay in crediting the amount back to your account due to public/national/bank holidays. Best regards, PhonePe Support

Dear Virk Sonu, I am experiencing an issue with a transaction of Rs. 10,[redacted]. The payment was deducted from my account by State Bank of India but could not be transferred to PhonePe due to a temporary technical problem at the bank. When can I expect the refund? State Bank of India mentioned that the refund will be processed within 3-5 days. To track the refund status, I need to check my bank account statement with the UTR number provided in the PhonePe app. Furthermore, I can verify my bank account balance in the app to confirm the refund. If necessary, I can attempt the transaction once more. Best regards, [redacted]
