On June *, **** I ordered a smart clean unit from your parts dept. (part *************). Order * *-*****. Received it via UPS today June *, ****. When purchased, I was advised that it had a * year warranty but that I needed to register it. She was so thorough that she told me how to locate the model number and what it would look like. Likewise with the serial number. I don't believe that she made this information up nor do I believe that she gave me the wrong information. Upon receipt, I attempted to register it on line without success. I called and spoke with a customer service rep. and also with a lady at encompass. Both advised me that there was no warranty on that product.*I received one of these units when I purchased the razor and when it failed I called and was sent a replacement at no charge. The second one failed after one year of use. Both units failed the same way. They run through the cleaning cycle but will not pump cleaning fluid from the cartridge onto the shaver cutting heads. I change cartridges appox. every month and a half.*At this point I am very disappointed and disgusted with the quality of these units and also the follow-up service. I own two Phillips shavers, (only one uses this smart clean unit.) a Phillips sonic toothbrush, and a Phillips waterpik. I am so disgusted that I will not purchase another Phillips product The shavers work fine but this smart clean unit is just plain junk.* One of the ladies offered me a **% coupon for future purchases as compensation. No thank you.* I have the unit packaged and ready for return.* I am not sure, at this point, of anything that you could do that would pacify me.
