My newspaper did not come today. I've already gotten a credit for the day. It did remind me of what deliveries were like BEFORE Kapri became our delivery driver. She informed me early this morning that she'd been injured and a substitute would be delivering for her. Whenever a sub is involved, I do not receive a newspaper. Prior to Kapri's arrival my * day a week delivery was spotty at best. I'm writing to you, so you will know how much she is appreciated. She is always very early. She knows that I have mobility issues and makes sure that my paper is in the driveway, not the grass. She double wraps my paper, because the end of my drive tends to be wet (plus in summer the sprinklers come on). In short, she actually CARES. She cares about her job and her customers. How rare a quality (sadly) in this day and age. I want you to know what a true gem she is and that I hope you appreciate her as much as I do. I am a huge proponent of actual physical newspapers. Local Press. They're the foundation of a strong democracy. People like Kapri help you to stay in business by delivering not just your paper, but great service.
