Pay for food ... *-**-***As a senior I am reluctant to shop the aisles even at senior shopping time.**I receive Snap benefits every month. *When I do enter the store I am able to use my Snap card at the cashier for appropriate food items. Any balance for items such as toilet paper, toothpaste, etc. will be paid by my bank debit card. **Why can't I order Giant Direct and at time of pick up take my Snap card & debit card to a cashier and do the same?**I would be reducing infection exposure and using the much needed benefit from Snap.**Snap benefits accrue monthly. However, if those benefit dollars are not used, they are removed from the card after * months. They do not roll over. **Therefore, with your current system, that necessary Snap help is unavailable to someone like me living on just Social Security and it creates a huge burden to buy food.**The items have been selected, the payment would be swift and efficient as a payment receipt is ready at time of pick up.**I appreciate your time to read this and hope to hear from someone.**I am ambulatory but fearful.**Thank you,*Respectfully,*Earlene
I am able to use the Snap benefit card when I shop the aisles but not when I order Giant Direct
Allow Snap benefit cards to be used at pick up at the cashier or by the person who delivers the items to the car.*I can go in just to pay which reduces exposure time as I am a senior.
Since the Giant store in New Hope opened - about ** years ago
