Made payment yesterday to new business phone contract, today PayPal reports that there is suspicious activity on the account and to verify my identity. Only identification that I have is my bank card, bills*council tax*energy, home lease, business lease etc, these are not accepted. When asked about account security, the woman wasn't listening and was going on about which payment would I like to dispute? No payment, I just want in my account...At this point she hung up. Called back again and requested complaints, again the customer service rep didn't listen and it took almost ** mins just to make him understand what the problem was, I gave him all the account details, email address associated with the account, transfer of amounts, current balance, bank account details, last payment sent, he them left me on he hold until he found out what he could do, this went on for about **, the final solution was, THERE IS NOTHING THEY CAN DO!! WTH? His advice was, get a passport and driving license, as I said yes of course I have a spare £*** to get these documents to access my PP, I then requested transfer of any funds in my account and account closed. I was then advised that, this was only a request and that he couldn't promise that this would happen and to wait **-** hours to hear the outcome of my request!!! *I will be transferring all payments that go in and out to my pp account to go through my own online banking and will never use PayPal again unless this is resolved ASAP. *Worst customer service EVER.
