On April 24, [redacted], while vacationing in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, I purchased two pairs of shoes for $49.37. Today, I wore one pair for the first time and was disappointed to find the bottom of the sole shedding by 3:15 PM. The shoes, Champion's Grey with black elastic bands, have the number [redacted] with 24 underneath. I believe they should have lasted longer than just a few hours. I haven't worn the other pair of Champion's shoes yet. I am requesting a refund for both pairs as I am not close to a Payless Store and find the quality of these shoes unacceptable. This is a first for me and I am quite surprised by the poor durability.

Subject: Disappointed Experience at Payless Boca Raton Location Team, I am writing to share a disappointing experience I had at the Payless Boca Raton store tonight under phone number [redacted]. Upon returning a pair of shoes around 8:30 pm, I encountered an issue as the shoes unexpectedly started breaking. Without a receipt, the store clerk (number [redacted]) mentioned a policy where I would only be reimbursed half of the amount without being able to provide any guidance or empathy. A call to customer service led to a conversation with Carla, who was rude and lacked respect. She insinuated that I was at fault for the shoes breaking and was unhelpful during the entire exchange. Despite the small amount in question ($10.70), the customer service received was extremely poor, leaving me feeling disrespected and disappointed. Although I will continue to shop at Payless, I am considering opting for a chargeback through my bank for future returns to avoid the disrespectful treatment I received. Sincerely, Saad [redacted]

Yesterday, I visited a store in Bogue to purchase sneakers for me and my son. Unfortunately, I encountered rude customer service from two representatives and the manager. They insisted I take a dirty pair of sneakers and claimed it was store policy not to exchange them. One representative even suggested the wrong shoe size for me. Despite there being multiple pairs in the correct size, the manager stated there were none available. Their unprofessional behavior led other customers to leave the store. The security guard was more courteous than the staff. It is disappointing as I'm a teacher and believe in the importance of reading, which seemed overlooked here. I have been a loyal Payless customer since they opened in Jamaica and have never experienced such treatment. If this issue isn't resolved, I will continue to escalate it until it is resolved.

I have been a loyal customer of Payless for over 30 years. I want to share my feedback on the new website. I have encountered numerous issues with the functionality and layout, making it difficult to place an order or select the right size. It would be beneficial to revert to the old website and focus on improving customer service. Currently, I am unsure how to proceed with my order due to the confusion and the small print. The site is challenging to navigate, and even when attempting to enlarge the text, other elements interfere with the process. This revamped site is causing me frustration and disappointment.

While driving from Denver, Colorado to Bozeman, Montana, the tire on the rented car blew out on the interstate. Instead of exchanging the car at Payless, I had to use the spare tire and later discovered another tire needed to be replaced due to alignment issues. The total cost of replacing both tires was $[redacted].43. Despite informing the store manager about the safety concerns, I have not received any assurances of a refund as of 3/29/19. While at the store, I told the lady that I didn't want the pair of shoes she had picked for me, and I wanted a different pair instead. She didn't listen and charged me for both pairs. Now I need to contact customer service or the manager because the lady got angry and insists that I never said I didn't want the first pair of shoes. On the 14th of October [redacted], I bought a pair of shoes using my debit card at a store. Despite three failed attempts, I paid in cash. Shortly after, I discovered that the money for the shoes was deducted from my account. I promptly contacted the store manager, provided bank screenshots, and alerted my local bank. They confirmed the payment to the store. The manager assured me he would involve the corporate office. Now, I am waiting for the refund through my bank. Thank you for your assistance.

I received a pair of women's Beat Cross Trekkers in blush size 7 1/2, which I did not order. Unfortunately, the men's Airwalk Glide Skate Sneaker size 8 that I ordered is missing. I need assistance returning the incorrect pair and receiving the correct Glide Sneaker. I attempted to contact customer service at [redacted] listed online, but had no success. The automated system led me to unrelated marketing prompts and disconnected the call. It is crucial for me to resolve this issue promptly, as the shoes are intended for homeless high schoolers in urgent need. I recently purchased sneakers for my granddaughter from your online store, but unfortunately, the sizes I ordered did not fit her correctly. The size 5 was too small, and the size 5-1/2 was too big. As Payless no longer has physical stores where I can return items, I have learned that I am responsible for the return shipping costs. I have always been a loyal customer of Payless and was unaware of the closure of the physical stores. I am a customer at 29th Street who recently spent $70 on food for a cookout. Unfortunately, I left my government phone at the Payless store during my shopping trip. When I called customer service, the lady I spoke with was rude and informed me that the phone had not been turned in. I requested for someone to check the aisle where I left it, but she mentioned they were short-staffed and couldn't assist. I felt disheartened as being without a phone impacts my ability to find employment and manage my daily life like others. Despite seeing signs saying the store was closed, a lady attended to customers, making me feel misled and frustrated. I wish the employee had taken a moment to retrieve my phone as I vividly remembered where I left it. Being without a phone is incredibly challenging, and I hope for a resolution soon.
