Hello, I am Benjámin K. from Slovakia. This morning, my account was hacked, and the hacker transferred my entire bank balance to the UK in three parts. The hacker also changed my phone number and password. When trying to recover my account through the "Forgotten password" option, I noticed that the "by email" option was unavailable. I have already contacted my bank, and they have blocked my card to prevent further unauthorized transactions. However, my concern now is the safety of my personal data, such as my full name and address. I seek assistance in either regaining access to my account or deleting it entirely. Dear Paypal Customer Service, I am encountering issues with my account being suddenly limited and inaccessible. PayPal claims there was questionable activity and requests tax information to proceed. However, I have not engaged in any sales for years and only received refunds and transfers. Despite contacting customer support, no resolution was provided. I am reluctant to share more information to regain access. As I no longer wish to use PayPal, I simply want to withdraw my remaining balance of $34.07 and close the account. For almost two years, I've been unable to access my PayPal account with a $[redacted] balance due to a two-way authentication issue. Although I know my password, the two-way authentication sends a code to my old mobile number, which I no longer have access to. This prevents me from logging in and updating my settings with my current mobile number to retrieve the code. I've been struggling to resolve this with PayPal, facing a cycle of unhelpful responses and no solution in sight. I urgently need assistance to gain access to my funds and update my account information.

I received my Oregon unemployment benefits direct deposit on May 26th. I made several transfers to my PayPal-linked debit card, including one for $[redacted] on the 27th, which got flagged. Despite contacting PayPal, my account was permanently limited due to perceived risk. On June 10th, after my account was momentarily unrestricted, it was again permanently limited. PayPal mentioned that in [redacted] days, they will explain how to access my $17,[redacted].85. I lodged a complaint with the BBB, and PayPal requested official proof of my benefit source to release the funds earlier. Despite 90+ direct deposit verifications on my statement, PayPal insists on governmental verification. I feel frustrated with the situation.

On the **th of May, I received my Oregon employment department direct deposit of about *** for unemployment benefits. Following that, on the **th, I attempted to make a transfer of $*** to my PayPal-linked debit card, which caused PayPal to flag the transaction and restrict my account. Despite contacting them and following the necessary steps, my account remained limited for review until I received an email on the **th of June stating my account would be permanently restricted due to perceived high-risk behavior. Interestingly, just a few hours before this, PayPal had actually lifted the limitations without notifying me. However, they reversed this decision and re-imposed the permanent restrictions, informing me I would have to wait *** days to access my $**,*** unemployment funds. I reached out to the BBB and received an email from PayPal suggesting that my account activity was unusual, and I would need to provide verification from government authorities to access my funds sooner. Despite the numerous direct deposit proofs in my statement history showing the origin of the funds, PayPal has not budged, leaving me frustrated and feeling misled. I simply wish for PayPal to lift the restrictions on my account so I can transfer my funds and sever ties with their service. Alternatively, I request they transfer the money to my MetaBank NetSpend account to facilitate a swift closure of my PayPal account without further delays.

I purchased a puzzle table from a Chinese company and received a green piece of felt from a UK company instead. After contacting both, I escalated the issue to Paypal. Despite providing all requested information, Paypal requested that I return the felt to China, which seemed unreasonable as I never received anything from there and the expense would be high. I inquired about returning it to the UK company but received no response. I explained that I could only go to the post office on the weekend, but Paypal insisted it needed to reach China within 8 days to keep the case open. Communication with Paypal was challenging, and despite providing the tracking number for the table order, the case was closed, leaving me $32.98 short with no table. I purchased a Blaux desktop air conditioner on June 10, [redacted]. On June 11, $69.99 was debited from my Chase Bank account by Quality Performance Limited Corp. via PayPal. The transaction reference is #3VR52296CV195150S. I have not received any order confirmation or communication from the company despite my attempts to reach out. I am unable to access their site without an order number, and after investigating online, it seems Quality Performance Limited Corp. may be running a fraudulent scheme. I request your assistance in resolving this matter promptly and refunding the $69.99. As a senior citizen on a fixed income, this situation is concerning, and I trust PayPal, a service I have used for a long time, will address this issue effectively. I am currently dealing with a fraud situation and attempting to report it to PayPal. Unfortunately, the Resolution Center has rejected my claim. I purchased a Power Wheelchair from a Facebook Marketplace sponsored ad, paid through PayPal, but received a small package with 2 face masks instead. The tracking number indicates that the item was delivered, which seems to be a well-thought-out scam. The Facebook ad and the company charging my PayPal account are quite different. PayPal seems to only consider the tracking number as evidence. I am feeling frustrated as my attempts to address this issue have not been successful. I have lost money and my confidence in Facebook and PayPal. My claim number is PP-D-[redacted]21.

I purchased a portable air conditioner from Ontel Products through PayPal on June 30th. The website was challenging to navigate, leading to accidentally ordering 2 units instead of one. PayPal was charged twice, totaling $98.94 each time. I purchased Hallmark's "Time for Us to Come Home for Christmas" through your service. I received a DVD from the seller John Clark in Sandy, Utah, but it appears to be a pirated copy without any official Hallmark markings. I expected a legitimate Hallmark movie in proper packaging, not a makeshift one. I will give you a week to respond before I submit evidence to Hallmark regarding this issue. Hello, I established a PayPal account in Qatar over 10 years ago. Since relocating to Australia with my family on February 25, [redacted], I have been using my PayPal account until November [redacted], when it was restricted due to a request for proof of identity. I have provided various documents such as my Qatar ID, Qatar driving license, Australian photo ID, Medicare card, and Visa copy. Despite this, the account remains restricted for over 8 months now. Numerous calls have been made to various numbers, but only recordings are available with no human support. I attempted to convert my personal account to a business account without documentation, leading to the restrictions. I am seeking guidance to resolve this ongoing issue. Thank you.

PayPal's service has been disappointing and unprofessional. They restricted my account in March, affecting my rent payments through Airbnb, with no resolution since then. Despite submitting the required documents, there was no follow-up. When Airbnb sent funds on July 1st, PayPal delayed the transfer. After days of trying, I finally spoke to customer service on July 1st. I was informed that a bank statement was needed but was assured it wouldn't hinder the transfer. However, six days later, no progress was made. On my recent call, they confirmed the request for a bank statement, but they insisted on a non-PDF format, complicating the process. My account is currently limited, and I have sent all required documents to resolve the issue. However, PayPal is requesting a bank statement that I cannot provide as I only have a Netspend debit card linked to my account, not a physical bank. I have provided my PayPal account statements received via email, but they are not accepting them. I am confused about how to proceed since I have sent sufficient proof of my identity.

I accidentally sent a payment meant for my god brother, Wayland, to The Copper Box LLC instead of his email address. I am confused and did not intend to pay a company I am unfamiliar with. I noticed this error after checking my PayPal account. I have reached out to Wayland to inquire if he received the payment. On July 11, [redacted], I emailed [redacted] regarding my purchase made on June 9, [redacted]. The item I received is not working as expected, as I have been unable to catch any bugs or mosquitoes. My Invoice ID is [redacted]8, and I made the payment via PayPal (Transaction Number 8MB74812F[redacted]9). The item was shipped with a tracking number of [redacted][redacted]79, supposed to be through UPS, but I received it by USPS with an invalid tracking number. I am looking to return this product and would appreciate PayPal's assistance in getting a refund and a free return shipping label to send it back. The product did not meet its advertised claims of bug control, especially against mosquitoes.

I enjoy playing online games, and recently while playing [redacted], I noticed your logo for cashing out. I won $15,[redacted], but encountered issues when trying to cash out due to limited space for entering my account number and email twice. I used my PayPal account number, but it did not work. I have contacted your support previously regarding PayPal payouts without success. I suspect fraudulent practices as other companies like Publishers Clearing House and Amazon also use your name for payouts. The games seem to originate from China or Japan, which concerns me. I am disputing these charges and requesting a full refund. I require seller information for returning the glasses and reporting their fraudulent activities. I made an order on 6-7-[redacted] through Pay Pal ([redacted]) for 3 pairs of Maui Jim sunglasses for $[redacted].70 from JIELIANGTRA via a Facebook ad. The glasses arrived in early July without any shipment notification or details about the company. One pair had mismatched lenses, prompting me to contact Maui Jim for warranty repair. Maui Jim confirmed that the sunglasses were not authentic and are sending them back. They advise purchasing only from authorized retailers to ensure genuine products, as per their warranty policy.

I encountered an issue with PayPal where they claimed my email address and password were unrecognized. Despite this, on 7/18/21, they processed a payment for an item I purchased using my credit card information. I entered my long-standing email address and password, only to receive an error message stating they did not recognize my details. Consequently, I proceeded as a guest and used my credit card for the purchase. Upon reviewing my bank statement, the charge was attributed to PayPal. Subsequent attempts to access my PayPal account failed for the same reason. I find it puzzling how PayPal could process my credit card payment while unable to recognize my login information, considering I have used the same email for over 20 years.
