I need to update my PayPal account, but when I try to sign in, it asks me to verify my identity with only one option - an old phone number that hasn't been valid since I moved on Jan. 1, [redacted]. The number on file is [redacted]. Since I no longer have that phone number, it is pointless as a verification method. The limited options for verification are frustrating. When I called customer service for a new password, the email I received had already expired by the time I opened it. The quick expiration time is inconvenient. Many people are currently unemployed; perhaps PayPal could hire more staff so customers can speak to a real person instead of dealing with these issues.

I recently ordered 3 shirts online and opted to pay by credit card since I don't have a PayPal account. Surprisingly, the company used my credit card through PayPal, resulting in billing by PayPal. I promptly canceled the order upon noticing this on my receipt. Attempting to reach PayPal has been unsuccessful as their lines are constantly busy, making it impossible to speak with a representative. When I tried to reset my password via email, I discovered the phone number associated with the account was not mine and couldn't be changed. Suspecting the shirt company created a PayPal account using my credit card and email but with their phone number, I informed my credit card company, disputed the charges, and changed the account number. Despite contacting the shirt company multiple times, they've evaded addressing my concerns, leading me to believe they might be running a scam. I've taken precautions, but I feel PayPal should be made aware of these details, considering their involvement in potentially aiding scammers to defraud consumers.

I bought a drone from ZestAds in December [redacted], but it was faulty. After returning it to a China address in January, the package never arrived. Despite ZestAds promising a refund of $[redacted].90, the process dragged on until May. Recently, I was told they tried to refund me but were unable to through PayPal. I followed their suggestion to have them try a "family or friends transfer," but they claim they attempted to refund once and now I must pursue PayPal directly. I feel stuck dealing with this Chinese company and seek your assistance to sort this out. I rely on PayPal for my purchases and want to keep using it. Can you please help me resolve this situation?

I used to have a PayPal account with the phone number [redacted]. Since switching to only using a mobile phone, I am unable to receive the verification code sent to my old landline. I received an email informing me of possible suspicious activity on my account. I encountered an issue while trying to address it on the Credit Card information page. The page requested the bank routing number and account associated with my Wells Fargo credit card. Although we had accounts and investments with Wells Fargo over 20 years ago, we no longer have any connections to their accounts. I need to update the phone number on my account. The current number is incorrect as my wife canceled our landline. I purchased two items, but they were not as described as they require batteries to work, which they do not. I initiated a return with the seller, but eBay provided two return labels that I was unable to print on my computer. I attempted to reach out to the seller, but eBay's system did not allow me to do so. Due to changes in eBay's return system during COVID, I have been unable to contact them by phone. After contacting Paypal, my return request with eBay was cancelled. I am seeking a full refund of $24.34 for this purchase. I would have returned the items already if I could print the labels, but the eBay system is not functioning properly. Despite trying all available options to print the labels and contacting the seller through eBay, I have received minimal communication from eBay, only to inform me that the case is closed since involving Paypal.

We paid $60 for masks on Facebook Marketplace and paid via Paypal. When the masks arrived, they looked nothing like the pictures or descriptions, clearly a bait and switch. The seller blocked us on FB and phone. Paypal Customer Service instructed us to ship the masks back and provide proof. We sent the tracking information, but Paypal then asked us to confirm delivery with the blocked seller, making it impossible. Dealing with Paypal Customer Service has been frustrating. Phone support disconnects when we try to reach an agent, and the chat randomly cuts off conversations, requiring a restart. We've spent over 30 hours in the past 6 months trying to contact Paypal. We fear they may use the time lapse as a reason to deny our refund.

I set up a goal a while ago with PayPal, but after they restricted my account and held my funds for [redacted] days, I transferred the money to my bank account. My PayPal balance is currently on hold, and I am not pleased. I sold a dirt bike to Marlin Ryan Robbins, and he paid me through PayPal. The funds were in my account on the 28th. When I tried to withdraw the money on the 30th, it showed as an unauthorized transaction. I reached out to Mr. Robbins, and he claims he did not dispute the payment. I would appreciate a call from a customer service representative. I am willing to conference call Mr. Robbins and visit him to resolve this matter together. If not, I will involve the police. I refuse to lose $[redacted] over this issue. PayPal's security measures need to safeguard my funds more effectively.
