I am having trouble accessing my account due to two-step verification being set up, presumably by someone who hacked into it. This prevents me from canceling my card, ordering a new one, or transferring money to a different card as I cannot log in. Customer service has not been helpful, and I keep getting disconnected when I call. The system states that they cannot process the inquiry at this time, which is frustrating. The account actually belongs to my friend, but we are using my account to try to contact support to gain access to theirs. Unfortunately, the phone number associated with the account has been changed, and we do not have the second phone number or credit card information. We only have one card but cannot perform any actions with it, such as using it in stores or canceling it. We are at a loss on how to proceed and retrieve the money from the account.

I have some inquiries regarding the payment process for a product using multiple gift cards. Additionally, I have received an invoice for $[redacted] in my account. The company mentioned they will waive the 5% PayPal fee and have already applied the discount. They requested my delivery address and contact number for immediate production once payment is confirmed. I need to confirm that I will not incur any additional PayPal fees beyond the $[redacted] payment. Also, I am interested in adding two more VISA gift cards to my account to complete the transaction. Could you please confirm if this is feasible?

My name is Nicole B. My PayPal account is frozen, and after my unemployment deposit, I urgently need access to my funds. The phone number linked to my account is [redacted]. My wallet was stolen a week ago, so I canceled my previous card, added a new PayPal prepaid card, and now find my account frozen. I provided all the documentation requested, but I'm unable to show my ID as it was in the stolen wallet, and the DMV has no appointments until late September. I'm a single mother of two, currently living check to check due to COVID-19 hardships, and we've lost our home, staying in motels. We have no family support as my relatives have all passed away. Desperately seeking resolution as we're relying on a kind stranger tonight and need access to our funds immediately.

I recently received an email from PayPal informing me that my account has been permanently restricted for violating the User Agreement, which has led to approximately $[redacted] being withheld for [redacted] days. No explanation was provided regarding the specific violation or any guidance on how to address this issue. I am taken aback by this situation as my PayPal usage has solely involved using my debit card for routine purchases and ATM withdrawals. I recently had to replace my lost debit card and was awaiting the new one. These funds are crucial to my survival, and being without them could result in homelessness, especially in a state like Arizona with a high number of new COVID-19 cases. Could someone please advise me on resolving this matter and restoring access to my funds? Your assistance is greatly appreciated. Thank you. - Ref. ID-PP-L-[redacted] S. I had an awful experience with PayPal. I've been attempting to close my account and stop receiving emails from them for around two years. Unfortunately, the email they send notifications from doesn't allow replies, and every link on their website leads to a page with no contact details. I am considering taking legal action against PayPal for harassment and cyberbullying.

I am unable to reset my password as every time I enter my email, I receive an error message stating, "Something went wrong on our end. Please try again." This issue has persisted for two days now. Original Message: Forgot your password? Enter your email associated with your PayPal account to reset your password. [redacted] Apologies, an error occurred on our side. Please attempt again.

I need to report what I believe is fraudulent activity on my email or bank account. I received an email from a service that appears to be from PayPal, dated 6/28/20, stating I placed an order for $14.55 with OTC Brands Inc. The email mentioned three items being shipped to someone I do not know, Susan Trask in Land O Lakes, FL, with a Transaction ID of 0-37x26568GN075831 J. I do not have a PayPal charge account, and I did not make any orders. This seems to be a spoof email or an incorrect charge. I have not heard of Susan Trask, and I am concerned about how the merchant obtained my email. I have informed my bank about this issue and would appreciate it if someone could investigate and update me. Thank you. - Evelyn at hotmail dot com

I'm Elizabeth Cate, and I recently encountered issues with my PayPal business account. I transferred $[redacted] from my Central Bank of Kansas City account to PayPal to pay my brother Jason Howard for work on my new business building. However, the transaction failed, prompting me to verify my account due to unusual activity. Despite attempting to confirm my identity through security questions and texts, my Gmail account was compromised by my sister, hindering access. I created a new email, lizcate0101@gmail, but PayPal still sends verification codes to my old email. Contacting PayPal for assistance during this challenging time has proven difficult due to reduced staff availability. I am in need of help with these account issues. Thank you.

On 6/28/[redacted], I received an email stating I made a payment to Geek Computers llc. for an item I did not purchase. I do not own a PayPal account or credit card due to filing for bankruptcy. It seems someone is using my information fraudulently. I have been unable to contact them via phone or messaging. Can someone assist me in resolving this issue? I am concerned about the legitimacy of the number 1-[redacted] provided. I am Lorelei Sakugawa. I am hesitant to go to the Resolution Center on PayPal as I am unsure if there is a fake account. I also noticed misspelled words in the email. This has been a nightmare and I seek assistance in resolving it. Thank you. Lorelei

On June 28th, I made a $[redacted] payment (Transaction ID [redacted]227321C) to Christopher McCloud. Despite my payment, PayPal delayed transferring the money to him as they needed to contact him as a vendor. He provided a service, not a product, and I couldn't get the payment released to him the next day. I've arranged for the $[redacted] to be paid to him through another method. Now, I am requesting the refund of the transaction fee I paid to PayPal for the transfer to be credited back to my Visa Account ending in [redacted] promptly.

I have been making payments from November [redacted] to July [redacted] to an individual claiming to be a lottery employee at [redacted] I initially believed I had won a prize of 1.5 million plus a car, which is why I continued making the payments. However, I began to suspect something was wrong when he kept requesting more money and got defensive when questioned. On July 1st, [redacted], I made a payment of [redacted]€ which was promised to be refunded by PayPal after deducting $[redacted] for taxes in Ireland. Subsequently, he asked for an additional $[redacted] for the prize delivery which raised my suspicion further. I realized I had been scammed out of nearly $5,[redacted], a substantial amount for me as I am on disability allowance. Recently, I received a fraudulent email from someone posing as PayPal, requesting my bank statement and bank card details. This made me realize the scam. I am hoping for assistance in resolving these issues. Thank you. Regards, Darren

I was unaware of any payment error as assured by a PayPal representative that international payments could be accepted smoothly. However, after investing in marketing and stocks linked to PayPal, I discovered I couldn't receive international orders. Upon testing with customers from Australia and the US, an error message occurred when attempting a purchase from my Shopify store. The issue arose after a card was added, unlike a successful transaction using Stripe. Given similar problems in a friend's store, I urge for prompt assistance as substantial finances have been allocated, believing PayPal was operational. Despite waiting over 25 days with no notification regarding international payments, a prior call from an executive assured readiness. Kindly address and rectify this issue swiftly to avoid further financial losses.

My PayPal account is currently locked due to an identity verification issue, preventing me from accessing my funds. I've tried to update my address since I no longer live at the one on file, but I'm unable to make the change. The last four digits of my social security number are [redacted]. The name on the account is Cameron Seymour, and my email is Cameron Seymour III at [redacted] VICTORIA Mile.com. My phone number is [redacted]. Although I managed to reset my password, my account remains limited as I couldn't provide proof of address, given my recent theft incident where I lost my wallet and vehicle. I urgently need access to my funds to support my children. Please contact me at your earliest convenience.

On June 29, [redacted], I paid Christopher McCloud $3,[redacted] for personal services he provided in California for our company. Despite his invoice being marked as paid, he was unable to collect the payment on June 29 or on July 1 or 2. To ensure he received the payment owed for his services, I made alternative arrangements to deliver the money on July 3. Despite my attempts to contact PayPal and using the GetHuman service to speak with a person, there has been no communication with me, the sender. Mr. McCloud mentioned that PayPal needed to contact "the Merchant," which I find confusing if true. Since the payment is no longer needed to settle the invoice for the services rendered and the invoiced amount has been paid, I am requesting a refund of the $3,[redacted] to be credited back to the Visa account used for the June 29 transaction.

I have returned the defective items to the merchant, and they have acknowledged receiving them. They attempted to refund $[redacted].00 to my Discover card, but PayPal has blocked the refund citing errors. The merchant suggests initiating a new claim, yet each time I try, it is closed immediately. The case closed on 2/23 with a temporary credit on my card awaiting PayPal's refund to Discover. As the issue seems to be PayPal withholding the money, I request immediate resolution. I have proof from both Discover and the merchant confirming this. Please escalate this matter to a supervisor as I seek a prompt refund resolution.

My PayPal account has been restricted, and I am struggling to understand why. I don't have any ongoing disputes, but the issue is hindering me from fulfilling an order for which someone has already paid. Unfortunately, I am unable to send the item as my sole income, unemployment benefits, is directly deposited into the limited PayPal account. Responding to your requests to lift the hold is challenging since I can't provide proof of sending the item. My financial situation is dire as I have six children and rely solely on unemployment funds to sustain us. Despite attempting to refund the buyer, PayPal restrictions stopped me. They are questioning the source of my funds, which are solely from unemployment benefits. Additionally, they are inquiring about an $11.50 refund I made in a situation where I accidentally overpaid for gas. The transactions on my relatively new account are straightforward, with two significant deposits of $[redacted].00 each from unemployment benefits. I truly need access to these funds to support my family until I can return to work. I hope you can assist me in resolving this matter promptly.

My PayPal account has been limited, and I cannot find out the reason behind it. Although I don't have any ongoing disputes, there is someone waiting for an item they have paid for. I am unable to send the item as my sole income, unemployment benefits, is directly deposited into my limited PayPal account. It is challenging to meet most of the requirements to have the limitation lifted since they are requesting proof of sending the item, which I can't provide. I have six children, and during these tough times, I am struggling to borrow money to feed us all.

I have been struggling for two weeks to access my account. I had one years ago in the US, but I haven't used it in years. I received only one email since the '90s and I cannot recall my password. My phone number has changed, and you sent the verification code to my landline, which cannot receive texts. I have tried everything to create a new account since there is no record of my old phone numbers. I needed to change my phone provider to receive texts, but encountered issues. After a prolonged chat session, I was swiftly directed to input my credit card information for a $1 charge. I was assured this step was not linked to Paypal. I am exhausted from dealing with this since 2 p.m., have a severe headache, and my blood pressure is high. If you are unable to assist me promptly, I will have to abandon this endeavor as I believe it may be a sign from God. Time is of the essence as I must create this account with SafeLink for some urgent business tomorrow. I apologize for the lengthy message but had no other option. Thank you, Brenda Campbell. I am having an issue with not receiving my order. I received an email from [redacted] on May 19, [redacted], confirming my payment of $99.99. The Transaction ID is 82K35374CW[redacted], and the Merchant Transaction ID is 80M51273JR180584G. I made the payment to [redacted] using my bank visa ending in [redacted]. The payment appeared as PAID on my bank statement in May. On May 22, [redacted], I received another email from [redacted] with the shipping information from China Post EMS with Tracking number LY[redacted]25CN indicating that it was delivered on June 13, [redacted], to someone in Lawndale, California, instead of Sacramento, CA, where I reside. I have tried to contact paypal and the seller [redacted] with no response. I have even involved my bank in resolving this issue. Now, I am requesting either the sewing machine I ordered or a refund to my account. Please assist me as soon as possible.

I am writing about case ID PP-D-[redacted]1. I filled this case due to receiving a fit bracelet instead of the Apple Watch I had ordered. After contacting the seller, they acknowledged the error, apologized, and admitted their team's mistake in sending the wrong item. They also mentioned that the advertisement for the watch I wanted was a mistake and had been removed. I requested a full refund since the error was on their end, and I should not be held accountable for the return shipping of the incorrect item they sent. PayPal, however, is now requesting me to return the wrong item and cover the postage, which I disagree with as I am not at fault. The seller should bear the responsibility for the return postage. Despite PayPal advising me to resolve the issue with the seller, when providing email communication as evidence of the seller's error acknowledgment, PayPal has declined to consider it stating that I should not be liable for the return shipping as it was not my mistake.
