On Tuesday, I made contact with Paypal thru their Twitter account because there was a problem with my account. **I CANNOT LOGIN TO MY ACCOUNT DUE TO THE SCA (STRONG CUSTOMER AUTHENTICATION) WHICH I WAS NOT AWARE AT ALL. MY OLD MOBILE NUMBER WHICH I SAVED ON MY ACCOUNT PROFILE IS ALREADY LOST AND EXPIRED. AND THEN YOUR WEBSITE TELLS ME THEY ARE GOING TO SEND A * DIGIT CODE TO THAT PHONE NUMBER. I AM NOT HAPPY AT ALL. NOT HAPPY ONE SINGLE BIT.**One of the chat agents in the Twitter account Paypal Support (@AskPayPal) with the initials SDS already told me that I should do a call, but the problem is the phone lines are closed! I called through the phone number ** *** *** **** tonight with the help of my friend but it always sends me to a voice recording and I was clearly upset. I still am UPSET right now.**And then another chat agent with the initials BBK told me they will transfer my issue to a specialist. It's been * freaking days and I have not received any response from the support team in Twitter. In freaking TWITTER!!!! I have sent a message to your Twitter account but no response! **I just need to login and change my phone number, but the system won't freaking let me do it. **Please help me, anyone who can read this email. My PayPal account has some money inside, and it was sent by a good friend of mine. I also need to use my PayPal for me to start working for a home-based online job. So please, I am humbly begging you to take my concern seriously.
This was especially frustrating because their phone lines for customer care service are closed right now and they are telling me steps and alternative solutions that either didn't work for me when I did it or I couldn't do it because it required for me to login to my account, which I can't.
They could make this right by opening their phone lines immediately and let me talk to a customer service representative who can better understand my issue and fix it immediately rather than just sending me a bunch of system-generated emails, an automated voice recorded message*spiel or a message template script that the chat agents follow and use. Because clearly, Paypal doesn't seem to care about their customer's satisfaction and doesn't seem to assure us very well.
Well, to be honest, I'm not new with Paypal. I made my account last year, but I didn't expect that they made some changes with their security policy. How was I supposed to know when I was staying at home the whole time for almost a year with no work and not so strong internet connection? I'm just saying that it might not be me who is also experiencing it right now, but I know I'm a good person and customer.
I've tried to bypass the verification process but it still leads me to the section of sending me a text message with the * digit codes to my old phone number. I've tried chatting to the Paypal Support Team thru their Twitter Account @AskPayPal, but they gave me no update till now. I've tried sending a bunch of emails through their email account *****@***.com, but it was a load of system-generated email message that doesn't offer me a real possible solution to my current situation and problem. And I've tried to reach them out to Messenger and to their customer care service hotline but I was disconnected.
