I am experiencing issues logging into my account on PayPal. Upon entering the correct email address and password, a message appears stating "We're looking out for you" and that there is unusual activity requiring me to confirm my identity and change my password. However, after clicking "Next," I receive a message apologizing for not being able to confirm my identity. Then, when trying to seek help through the contact page, the automated system fails to verify my identity through my registered phone numbers and I am unable to get through to an agent due to an automated COVID-19 message followed by disconnection. I am frustrated as I am unable to reach PayPal for assistance due to being locked out of my account.

I noticed some unauthorized charges on my bank statement recently. The charges, totaling [redacted].92, along with a 2.00 donation, were taken from my account linked to PayPal, resulting in two overdraft fees of 29.50 each. While PayPal shows a refund, my bank has not seen this credit. They mentioned that if the funds were returned to my bank, my account would be settled. These charges are not new occurrences on my PayPal account, but unlike previous ones flagged by PayPal, these took money directly from my bank. I hope to resolve this discrepancy promptly.

I am seeking a refund for a late fee on my credit account. I was surprised by a $28 late charge as I did not receive any prior notice of being late. Once I noticed the charge, I immediately made a $67 payment, only to be informed I was already late. Furthermore, the charge to Wayfair is less than a month old. I kindly ask for assistance in resolving this matter. In times of stress, I understand human errors can occur, and it seems to be the case here. Thank you for your attention to this issue. - M. I am encountering difficulties when trying to buy from a specific seller on eBay. The eBay Item #[redacted]53 that I am interested in purchasing is not allowing me to proceed. I receive an error message stating, "One or more sellers can't accept payments right now. Contact the sellers for help." I have reached out to the seller, and she mentioned it's due to a technical issue on Paypal's side. She advised me to buy the items on her personal website, but I am uncertain whether her Paypal privileges have been revoked. I am seeking clarification on why this error is happening. Any assistance on this matter would be appreciated. Thank you. -B.H.

I have made four orders with Sigmall for Diamond paintings totaling $[redacted]. I have not received anything despite them claiming the items have been shipped and delivered. I am now requesting a refund from Discover card as I have not received the products. This project was significant to me, but I am disappointed with the service. I doubt I will ever receive the product, and no notification has been received from the local post office. I have decided not to place any further orders with them.

I am having trouble logging in. I neither have nor want a Google Account. I have been using Paypal for years without any problems. Recently, when I tried to make a purchase from Puritan Pride, I faced issues trying to pay. Even when I attempted to log in directly from the Paypal login page rather than from Puritan Pride, it still required a Google account. This has made it impossible for me to pay for items on Ebay with Paypal. I am extremely confused by this situation and would appreciate any assistance you can provide.

After placing an online order, I quickly realized the items weren't suitable for my needs and requested a cancellation within 24 hours. Despite their website listing a delay due to the pandemic, they refuse to cancel my order. They pointed me to their return policy, but it lacks detail. I even inquired about their cancellation policy from a different email address, and they stated they do cancel within 24 hours. However, they are now claiming my order is in process. I am concerned about the $[redacted] I spent. Will PayPal assist in getting a refund for this situation?

I purchased 50 face masks from the seller's website only to encounter issues with communication and eventually discovering the website had vanished. Instead of my order, I received a small package containing a bracelet of no value. Attached are photos of the package, tracking number, and the bracelet for evidence. This fraudulent seller deceived buyers with nonexistent products and tricked PayPal into thinking an item was shipped by sending a worthless item. I am seeking a refund from PayPal and request a credit to my bank account. I will be disputing this charge and urge PayPal to thoroughly investigate the legitimacy of such sellers.

I am currently unable to access either of the phone numbers associated with my account, making it impossible to verify through two-step verification. Frustratingly, I have attempted to reach out to customer service via both phone and email with no success. The responses I received instructed me to update my phone number(s) by logging into my account, which is not feasible until my current phone is linked to the account.

I am Jennifer Lewis and a long-time PayPal customer. Unfortunately, I have lost access to my account information. I have been unable to access my account as I no longer have access to the phone number linked to it. My current email is [redacted], and though I use it for other purposes, I cannot remember the password associated with my PayPal account. I have created a new account with a different email and phone number ([redacted]) but I need assistance transferring important information from my old account to the new one. This is crucial as my social security benefits are directly deposited into the old account. I would be grateful for any help or guidance in this matter. Thank you.

My eBay account has been compromised, and someone used my identity for fraudulent transactions. PayPal has placed a temporary limitation on my account, preventing me from withdrawing money or making payments. The limitation occurred on April 10, [redacted], after I received five unauthorized payments for eBay auctions and listings I did not post. I followed eBay's advice and changed the passwords for both my eBay and PayPal accounts. I have refunded the payments to the buyers. PayPal likely blocked my account due to the unusual activity of receiving five payments totaling over £3,[redacted] in one day, which I did not authorize.

Hello, I am reaching out on behalf of my mother who is experiencing difficulty logging into her account. She has SMS protection enabled on her account, but the phone number associated with it has been deleted. Even though it was inactive for a while, she was receiving SMS codes successfully back in March. However, she has not been receiving them anymore. How can she update the phone number on the account or have it removed entirely? She submitted an email via the contact form 5 days ago and has not received any response from PayPal. Is there an email address for urgent matters or a contact number available? She urgently needs to access the funds to pay bills, but is unable to reach the PayPal support team. Given that there are funds in the account, creating a new one is not a viable option unless the funds can be transferred to a new account or returned to the sender. Thank you for any assistance.

On April 1st, I made two transactions to my step-daughter's PayPal account without knowing she had to create a new account due to her phone and wallet being stolen. She informed me the first transaction didn't go through, so I sent a second one before she mentioned the new account. I forwarded the same amount to her new account, but she cannot access her old account. I am now waiting for the $[redacted]+ refund, including transaction fees. It would be helpful if she could share the fees with me.

Hello, It has been around 15 years since I first joined your services, and everything has been running smoothly until now. Recently, I have encountered a big issue accessing my account. After struggling for about an hour, I can log in but face blocks preventing me from accessing the funds in my PayPal accounts. I suspect that my hosting service may be affecting my two existing sister accounts, one in the UK and another in USD linked to our original USA account, as we were in the process of creating a third account to sell through our UK website EKM. Since this trial began, all operations have come to a halt. I am unable to transfer funds between our clients and sister websites or even make payments. My PayPal passwords are not working, causing a significant disruption that requires immediate verbal communication. While in the UK for the next few weeks, I urge you to provide a one-on-one conversation at the earliest on our UK phone number, [redacted]. I am baffled by this situation and seek urgent assistance to regain access and release the funds we have rightfully earned. I appeal for direct verbal communication to resolve these pressing issues during these challenging times. I kindly request your prompt assistance for a verbal, non-AI dialogue to rectify the problem and restore normalcy. Your swift attention to this matter is greatly appreciated. Warm regards, BC UK TEL: [redacted] 10.30AM - 3.30PM (Mon-Sat)

I recently received an email from PayPal regarding my March statement, but I do not have a PayPal account. I typically use my credit card through PayPal for eBay purchases, but this doesn't involve having a PayPal account. I tried calling [redacted] and [redacted], but a prerecorded message informed me that due to the current pandemic, there were no customer service agents available and the call ended. The only charge I can recall is from a Japanese merchant who shipped my items two months late, despite me buying and receiving items from another Japanese merchant within two weeks. I requested a return label from the first merchant, but he wanted me to pay for overseas shipping. After waiting for two weeks for the return label, I disposed of the items. 1. I provided the merchant with ample time. 2. The transaction was paid with my credit card, not PayPal, making the charge unrelated to PayPal. 3. If PayPal does not address the false claim and charge, I will file a complaint against them. -Gholam Z. [redacted]

I received an email from PayPal with a receipt for an item being sent to an address in Overland Park, Missouri. I do not live there nor have I ever visited. I haven't used my PayPal account in over 20 years. I want to clarify that I am not responsible for any purchases made since I am not the person making these transactions. It seems like someone is trying to misuse my account, and I do not wish to be charged for these unauthorized purchases. I have printed out the email for reference. I request that my PayPal account be canceled as I am not the one making these transactions. This situation is bothersome, and I am seeking a resolution promptly.

Subject: Unauthorized Transactions on Account Dear Customer Service, I am writing to report two unauthorized transactions on my account for €[redacted] and €[redacted] on Monday, April 13th around 11 pm. The transactions were for 'Electronics' in Italy, which we did not approve and suspect to be part of a phishing scam. Our attempts to contact PayPal via email and phone were unsuccessful due to the current situation with Covid-19. This incident has caused significant financial distress. I urge you to investigate these payments and refund the money to our account promptly. I appreciate your swift attention to this matter. To ensure a complete record, please respond to this email address. Thank you for your assistance. Sincerely, J.W.

I am experiencing a significant problem with a transfer. My husband created his own PayPal account to receive a donation for our family, as our joint bank account had a balance of -$57.00. He transferred the funds to me on our debit card, and after I accepted the money on my PayPal account, the transfer is pending, and our bank account now shows a pending balance of -$[redacted].00. Subsequently, my husband accepted the money, and we transferred it to our bank account using the debit card, leaving the account at -$9.32 due to $96.00 in overdraft fees. I am unsure if we accepted the money twice, if the funds are now unusable, and if I need to cancel the transfer from my PayPal account.

My account is currently frozen without any given explanation despite my banks being verified. I attempted to send money to my bank, but I'm unable to do so. When I spoke with an agent named Naga, they were not helpful, and I was transferred to a supervisor who never joined the conversation. False information was provided, and I was told to wait 72 hours for my account to be reset, which seems unreasonable. I received no warnings, explanations, or instructions regarding this account block. I urgently need answers as to why I cannot access my funds. I want to avoid making more unsuccessful attempts if it will worsen the situation. I'm concerned about the lack of communication and transparency regarding my unavailable account. Please assist me in resolving this matter promptly. Thank you.
