After moving to Nigeria in January, I updated my PayPal card details with a Nigerian Visa Card for my Apple Account. I noticed a charge from Apple via PayPal that seemed unauthorized, relating to a subscription from June [redacted]. Despite Apple canceling the subscription last year, the charge appeared in January [redacted]. I reported this to PayPal as potentially fraudulent. Upon further investigation, I discovered the payment was not unauthorized but derived from an old issue with the subscription. When I attempted to address this with PayPal and log into my account, I found it was restricted. To unlock it, I needed to verify my identity with an American phone number, which I no longer have access to in Nigeria. Consequently, I am currently unable to access my account to update my phone number and resolve this predicament.

I recently ordered a "June" tee shirt from Leopard Tee on 2/21/[redacted]. While placing the order, I accidentally ordered two of the same shirt. I contacted PayPal (RL-10[redacted]2) to remove one shirt, and they advised me to reach out to the seller first. Due to a family emergency with my father passing away, I had to travel and attend services in Maine and North Carolina. Finally having the opportunity today, I tried calling teechip's phone number ([redacted]) but was directed to their website. Unfortunately, the website only allowed selecting "Order is late" as an issue. Frustrated by the lack of options, I am now seeking your assistance to rectify this problem. The order was placed under the account name "Girlzink1947." Due to email difficulties, I am using my cousin's email [redacted] for communication. Kindly respond to this email address for further correspondence. Thank you for your anticipated help. Sincerely, Judy A. D.

I placed an order on Macy's on February 20th and selected PayPal for a $[redacted].09 payment. The order never arrived, and PayPal still shows the payment as pending. When I called Macy's, they had no record of my order, so I reached out to a customer representative last night to inquire about getting a refund since Macy's does not have any information about my order. The representative assured me that they would send a message for the funds to be released back to me because Macy's declined the order or payment initially. I just want to confirm that the request to release the funds back to me was noted by the customer representative as promised.

I suspect that I am a victim of identity theft. Yesterday, I used PayPal to pay for an iTunes purchase. After my bank account was charged, I received an email stating that my online banking had been locked due to multiple login attempts. The email asked for personal information to verify my identity, which I unfortunately provided. I later realized this was likely a scam. I contacted my bank's security department and closed my accounts. Although PayPal showed the payment as received, my bank statement did not reflect any withdrawals. I faced challenges entering the payment on PayPal, which is likely where the problem originated.

Upon reviewing your PayPal account, it has been found that there is a significant risk associated with conducting business with you. To ensure a smooth transition, we are initiating a separation process that minimizes disruption to your business. If there are any funds in your PayPal balance, they will be held for [redacted] days (starting from your most recent received payment) to address any potential disputes from your buyers. After the [redacted]-day period, please reach out to us to request a withdrawal of your remaining balance. You may be required to provide a valid photo ID and proof of address before accessing the funds. If there are unresolved buyer complaints against you, you can issue refunds through the Resolution Centre on your PayPal account. Please note that we retain the right to close accounts flagged for potential high-risk activity. In case of disputes, we will attempt to recover funds by debiting your PayPal balance first. If the balance is insufficient, we may pursue other legal means to collect the debt owed to PayPal. We value your understanding and patience in this matter and apologize for any inconvenience it may cause.

I purchased an electronic item over a month ago, and unfortunately, it did not work when I received it. I opened a dispute with PayPal and returned the item on February 28, [redacted]. Surprisingly, PayPal closed the dispute after just one day in the buyer's favor because I failed to provide tracking information or a picture of the order. I was unaware of this requirement and had already sent the shipping invoice as proof. It is frustrating that PayPal ruled against me so quickly, especially since the item had not even left my country yet. This experience is disheartening, considering I have been a PayPal user for over a decade without any previous issues. Losing €[redacted] like this is unacceptable, especially when the seller sent a faulty item with a US plug instead of the correct EU plug.

I am writing regarding transaction number .15M640618T350670H. The funds related to it have been frozen stating that the item has not been received by the buyer. According to the Civil Code, Article [redacted], the delivery of the item and the associated risk transfer occur upon delivery to the carrier. This principle also applies to international transactions as outlined in the [redacted] Vienna Convention. Since I have handed over the item to the carrier, the contract between the buyer and me is considered finalized, and nothing else should be of concern. Your policy appears to be against the law, withholding the funds without any justification, and the clauses enforcing it should have been separately agreed upon. For these reasons, I request the immediate release of the funds.

I recently received an email notifying me of unauthorized access to my PayPal account. As a single retired individual living on a fixed income, I am deeply concerned. I would like to request a thorough investigation by a senior officer to look into this matter. I confirm that I did not authorize the $[redacted].65 AU payment to Asad Finnegan and I kindly ask for this charge to be waived. I appreciate the proactive measure taken by your office in restricting the account, but I would prefer to have the account permanently closed. Please feel free to reach out to me on my mobile at any time to discuss further at [redacted] [redacted] [redacted]. Thank you in advance for your assistance. Sincerely, Julie

I would like to address a concerning issue with PayPal regarding their refund process. Recently, I attempted to get a refund from a questionable company. After visiting the United States Postal Office, I obtained documentation proving that the item was shipped to a different address than mine. Despite having the tracking number confirming this discrepancy and the logistics information from Google, PayPal claims I lack evidence of not receiving the item. It is frustrating that each time I contact them, I face disconnections or long holds with no resolution. My experience with PayPal has fallen short of my expectations, leaving me disappointed in their service.

I purchased an item on February 11, [redacted] from a website that accepts PayPal. The item was shipped with a provided tracking number that indicates delivery, but the package was not received. Despite my efforts, PayPal continues to deny my claim based on the seller's proof of delivery. I have proof from the Postal Inspector that the package went to a different address in the city, not mine. I submitted this information to PayPal with dispute reference: PP-D-[redacted]1. Unfortunately, I cannot reach out to the seller directly as their address is unknown to me. I have submitted all relevant documentation to PayPal, but my case keeps getting denied due to the seller's insistence on the tracking number as proof of delivery. I seek assistance in resolving this issue. Thank you.

I recently set up a PayPal account for our non-profit organization, FAVOR-Grand Strand. While setting it up, the representative mentioned creating a fake order for verification, using Nordstrom. However, a week later, I found unauthorized Nordstrom orders on my computer, charging gift cards to my Visa card. This alarmed me, and I shut down my system. I would appreciate a phone call to address this situation promptly. Dr. Lou Slover FAVOR-GS Office: [redacted] Cell: [redacted] Email: [redacted]

Dear Sir/Madam, I am Denary Wiz, and I am expressing my frustration with the service provided for my PayPal account linked to my Email: [redacted] The PayPal Permanent Limitation Reference ID is: PP-L-[redacted]30. Being a new PayPal user, I did not anticipate such unprofessional treatment. Despite initial hesitations due to negative stories from my entrepreneurial friends, I opened the account on February 10, [redacted], following requests from customers. After successfully adding the account to my Shopify store and receiving payments, my account was temporarily limited pending document submission to withdraw funds. After complying with all document requests, including processing orders promptly, I woke up to a message stating my funds would be held for [redacted] days without a clear explanation. As my business is an LLC in the USA, I am considering legal action due to the inconvenience caused. I have thoroughly reviewed the User Agreement multiple times and failed to identify any violations. I have involved my lawyer to prepare a court case and intend to contact the Better Business Bureau and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to address this issue. I plan to pursue legal action starting with the Santa Clara Superior Court in San Jose, California, with updates to follow on the court proceedings. Sincerely, Denary.

Due to being hospitalized for multiple surgeries due to a serious infection, I was unable to address the $[redacted] chargeback that occurred. The funds were sent to me by a friend who had lost her debit card and urgently needed money for bills. She physically handed me the cash, and I can provide evidence of the transaction timeline through screenshots and messages between us. The chargeback was unexpected as the money was delivered directly to her, as witnessed by her and confirmed in our communication. This situation arose during a difficult time as my focus was on my health and recovery, making it impossible for me to respond promptly.

I recently sold a laptop and the buyer requested to use PayPal, which was new to me. Following the instructions received via email, I completed the transaction as instructed. However, there was no mention of a 24-hour deadline for a voucher payment in the email. The email only requested a payment to an agent for service fees to activate my account and ensure a safe transaction. The email did not clarify the urgency of a 24-hour requirement. I am now being asked to pay a fee for not meeting the undisclosed time frame. I seek clarification on this issue before taking any further action. Thank you. -JS

I am seeking to communicate with someone in the contiguous United States who is well-versed in policies, eBay transactions, and is fluent in English. My eBay username is squantow445, and I have encountered conflicting information about my eBay account. Despite receiving an email confirming the viability of my account with funds available in 48-72 hours, I have been informed that I must wait nearly a month. Given the discrepancies I have experienced in the past with PayPal and eBay, I prefer to handle my own taxes to ensure that any deductions or losses are appropriately accounted for. I believe it is crucial to safeguard my financial interests from unwarranted interference. I am eager to engage in a discussion regarding contract law with a knowledgeable individual at eBay to address these concerns. Please provide me with the means to initiate this conversation. Thank you, David Barker - (AIF)

Hello, I made a purchase from Chokerloz on February 3rd, only to discover it's a fraudulent website. Today, I received an item from them, but it's completely different from what I ordered and worth much less. It looks like this is their common practice. I paid with my credit card, but they processed the payment through their PayPal account. My credit card company suggested I reach out to you since the seller used PayPal, although I didn't. I've tried contacting the seller for a refund via email, yet haven't received any response. Can you assist me in obtaining a refund for this transaction? Thank you, Aya

I work as an escort and gentlemen compensate me for my time, which can involve phone sex, video chatting, or sexting. On Valentine's Day, a client sent me $[redacted] via PayPal for something nice for myself. Despite completing the agreed-upon service within the specified timeframe, the payment was placed on hold until midnight. I faced previous issues where my PayPal accounts were shut down without explanation, which leads me to believe I am being discriminated against due to my profession. PayPal informed me on February 13 that funds would no longer be held as I had zero disputes, yet the Valentine's Day payment remains on hold. The client selected "goods and services" despite it being payment for my time. When I contacted PayPal, they were unhelpful and vague about the hold. It has been 3 weeks, and they advised me to wait longer, which I find unfair. I feel judged by PayPal's delay in releasing the funds, which I believe they can do earlier. I urge PayPal to release the $[redacted] without requiring intimate details about the transaction.

I followed your recommendation and decided to apply for the PayPal credit card to simplify things. Unfortunately, it has only made things more complicated. I was denied stating that Sumner D. was deceased. In the words of Mark Twain, 'The reports of my death are greatly exaggerated.' The last person in my lineage with my name passed away roughly 49 years ago in [redacted], and before that, the last individual was deceased 61 years ago in [redacted]. I have been a member in good standing with about 21 years of tenure, and my track record with resolving disputes on Ebay has always been fair and honest. It is distressing to encounter such mismanagement from your banking partner; I trust they will rectify this without my intervention. I have successfully applied for credit cards at JC Penney and Belk without facing such issues. I am concerned about the potential negative impact on my credit score due to this error and hope it can be resolved promptly. Thank you.

I already reported my issue, but it was denied today. I have been deceived by an app called 'Sweatcoin'. This app guided me in various directions until I ended up playing a "slot machine" under the impression that I had earned millions of points. Later, I discovered that they had deducted £11.97 from my bank account, split into three transactions of £3.99 each. I promptly reported this to Google Pay and PayPal today, within an hour of the incident. I do not gamble and my history reflects this. I have a social worker, and as a 60-year-old disabled man on 'ESA', receiving a low benefit, this incident has greatly affected me. I feel scammed by this app, which I have since removed from my phone. I had hoped that PayPal, known for its good reputation in refunding lost funds, would assist me. Unfortunately, my first refund request was denied.

I am seeking a full refund for an $89.99 item I bought on eBay in January [redacted]. I have raised this issue with eBay, who is dealing with disputes involving this seller. They provided case number 71L59066SF993810S and advised me to reach out to PayPal. The seller advertised the item as a one-time purchase with free returns. However, they shared my personal details like name and address with Luminess, resulting in a fraudulent bill suggesting I subscribed, which I did not. The bill incorrectly stated I used a fake Mastercard and had an unknown person's last 4 card digits. I never owned a Mastercard, and the account number [redacted]9 is erroneous. When I asked Luminess about the charges, they refused to provide details without my email address, prompting concerns about privacy. eBay has removed the seller's listing due to similar issues. I urge you to contact the seller and arrange a refund promptly. It's frustrating and inconvenient for both of us. It's troubling that the seller is currently selling Luminess for $79.99 on eBay, also claiming as a one-time purchase.
