PayPal has restricted my ability to transfer money between my bank accounts due to a "security checkup," preventing me from funding my online games. I'm frustrated because I cannot use PayPal to pay for the games. I've wasted my entire day dealing with this issue instead of playing. All my money is locked in my PayPal account, and I'm out of town with limited options for entertainment. It's a problem because I can't simply withdraw cash from an ATM to pay for my online games.

I am experiencing difficulty with a payment situation involving another PayPal user. I sent an iPhone X to John M. and he sent me $[redacted]. Initially, the payment was pending until he confirmed receiving the package. After confirmation, it prompted me to expand my account. John sent me $[redacted] for this purpose, but he was not clear on the steps. He said I should use the $[redacted] in cash to buy Steam cards, which I couldn't do. I assumed he would transfer the $[redacted] to my account to cover the costs, but that didn't happen. Now, he suspects I am trying to scam him out of $[redacted]. I lack the funds to purchase the Steam cards and complete the process. I hope to resolve this issue promptly as I have not received any funds from the transaction. I would appreciate it if the customer service team could refund John his $[redacted] from my account and ensure my payment goes through. I have been eagerly awaiting this payment all week, and the delay is causing frustration.

I have been using PayPal for a long time to buy items on eBay. Recently, I tried to purchase a collection of Yu-Gi-Oh cards, but I encountered an issue. After attempting the purchase, I received a message stating the transaction could not proceed and to choose another payment method. Despite following PayPal troubleshooting tips, I still have a notification on my account prompting me to link a card or bank account, even though both are already linked. Upon checking my bank account, I noticed the transaction was initiated but then reversed due to processing issues. I suspect the problem lies within my PayPal account, as I can still use my debit card for other purchases, indicating my bank is not the reason behind the failed transactions.

I created my PayPal account a long time ago without adding my bank details as I was unsure how to do it. Recently, I tried to log in but I forgot my password. When trying to reset it via email, it required me to confirm my phone number, which I no longer have access to as I switched to a contract phone. Now, I am unable to log in because I forgot my password and can't reset it without the phone number associated with my PayPal account.

I used Bill.com to pay a vendor. They received a notification to verify the payment, but it was sent to a different email address than the one used for the payment. The payment was for $79.50 to Julia Nish-Lapidus, sent from a PayPal account associated with [redacted] The vendor's notification mentions updating order information and receiving the funds within 7 days of verification. The payment was actually made from the Girls Gone Strong account with the email [redacted] How can I proceed with the verification process to ensure the vendor receives the payment?

I am an employee at the Department of Fine & Performing Arts at Regis University in Denver, CO. Our department has been under a cyber attack since August 21, resulting in our computers and phones being offline. I am currently facing issues submitting receipts for August purchases to our Financial Affairs department for payment of our MasterCard bill. Due to the cyber attack, all relevant receipts and emails are inaccessible. I am in the process of reaching out to businesses to request duplicates of the receipts. One particular charge from August 6 for $[redacted].00 is listed on our bill with the description "Paypal Coloradomus," but I am unable to recall the specifics of this transaction.

PayPal Blocked my account without explanation. After receiving a recent payment, my account was unexpectedly blocked by PayPal. The notice states: "You can't use PayPal anymore. At PayPal, we strive to maintain a safe community for our customers. Upon reviewing your account, we observed activities that violate our User Agreement, resulting in the termination of PayPal services for you. Bank or credit card details connected to your account cannot be deleted or used to set up a new account. Although you can still access your account information, you are restricted from sending or receiving money. Any funds in your account will be held for [redacted] days, and you will receive an email with instructions on transferring the money. Reference ID: PP-[redacted]-[redacted]-[redacted]-[redacted] REQUESTED ACTIONS: 1) Resolve the account issue. or 2) Close my current PayPal account to allow for the creation of a new one. Thank you."

I won $[redacted] at Winloot.com. When I received the email confirming my win, it instructed me to press "confirm", which I did. Unfortunately, I mistakenly selected to have the money sent to my unused PayPal account, which I created a long time ago back in the Windows 98 era. Trying to manage the situation, I connected my Direct Express debit card to PayPal in hopes of transferring the funds to my boyfriend's bank account since I can't deposit money onto my Direct Express card due to it being for disability use only. This led to the funds being taken from my Direct Express card, causing further complications. I attempted to cancel the transaction, which resulted in PayPal restricting my account due to suspicious activity. Despite providing numerous verification documents, such as identification and address proof, the verification process has been ongoing for nearly a month. We have a PayPal business account. Suddenly, our debit card is being declined despite having funds. After trying to get it resolved with no success, we got a new card, but it didn't work either. We discovered that our phone needed adjustments to receive the verification code. Even after multiple attempts to fix the issue, the cards keep getting declined. An agent suggested granting my partner, Manda Cash, permission to handle PayPal matters. Despite following instructions, they still require speaking to me, causing further frustration. We are busy running our landscaping business and have both spent hours trying to resolve this without success. The security issue within the PayPal system seems to be causing the problem, but no adjustments have fixed it yet. We just want to use our debit cards without getting declined constantly. I attempted to send $6,[redacted].11 via PayPal to a friend for a football pool. However, despite choosing friends/family, my friend was charged $[redacted] as a merchant fee. Hello, I received an email at my other email address, [redacted], meant for Samantha Maxwell regarding a password change on her PayPal account for security purposes. When I tried to reset the password with the provided six-digit code, I was asked to confirm via a phone number. As I have relocated to Germany, the phone number associated with the account cannot receive texts. I would appreciate assistance in either resetting the password or closing the account. I attempted to update my primary credit card on Paypal after receiving a new card with the same account number but different expiry date and 3-digit pin. Despite canceling and re-adding the new card, the update was not successful. After speaking with a helpful customer service representative, I was informed that this issue is a glitch in Paypal's system. The only suggested solution was to request a new account number from my credit card provider, which I am reluctant to do due to the inconvenience it would cause with my standing orders and direct debits. Many others on the chat forums seem to be facing similar issues. I have always been satisfied with Paypal's service but this system glitch may force me to stop using Paypal and eBay unless the issue is resolved or a practical alternative is provided. - J.

Good morning, I am writing to address my issue with PayPal. I recently fell victim to a scam by a buyer who disputed two $25 charges claiming they were unauthorized. Despite having proof of the situation, I received two chargebacks totaling -$90 on my account. Despite multiple attempts to verify my account by submitting required documents, the system repeatedly fails to verify me. Now, I received an email stating that my PayPal account will be closed. On September 12, [redacted], I purchased 2 recliner chairs on eBay for a total of $87. At the time, I did not have an eBay or PayPal account, so I paid with my credit card. I was informed by my bank that PayPal has already debited the payment. However, I did not receive any confirmation via email or any other means, and I have yet to receive my order. I'm having trouble accessing my PayPal account under the email [redacted] PayPal is requesting my Passport or Driver's License for verification, but I don't have them. Is there an alternative document like a tin ID or PhilHealth picture that I can provide instead of the Passport or Driver's License? My Social Security Visa Debit card was hacked multiple times by individuals using PayPal, with the most recent incident occurring around September 25, [redacted]. I did not have possession of the card in April [redacted] or on September 25, [redacted]. I have identified some of the fraudulent transactions and the names of those involved. I am requesting that all withdrawals linked to PayPal be refunded to a different account. I no longer wish to use PayPal due to these incidents.

I recently encountered an issue with an unauthorized purchase on my phone, which led to unexpected charges through PayPal. Despite not having sufficient funds because of switching banks and discontinuing the credit card linked to my PayPal, I had to add it for downloading even free iPhone apps. Following the unauthorized purchase, I sought a refund from Apple and they obliged. However, PayPal charged me twice for an extra $29 each, along with an additional $1.99, resulting in NSF fees. After resolving the iTunes problem, I am now pursuing reimbursement for these NSF charges.

However, when attempting to track my order using the website provided, www.17track.net, I discovered some concerning information suggesting it might be a scam. I noticed a pending payment of £[redacted].06 in my PayPal account that hasn't been resolved despite paying the seller. I spent the entire weekend communicating with this individual. They were supposed to have 20 shirts ready to ship to me. I made a payment of $[redacted].00 on Monday morning. Throughout the day, I requested the tracking information, but by the end of the day, there was no response from them. Upon investigating, I discovered that they are a known scammer. I promptly requested a refund, and they are ignoring all my messages. It appears that they never produce the shirts and deceive people out of their money. I am in urgent need of assistance.
