Dear Paypal Team, I opened a Paypal account while in the United States last year. Now that I am back in Germany, I want to create a new account using my German details but keeping my existing email address. Unfortunately, I am unable to create a new account as my email is already linked to my US account. I attempted to delete my US account to free up my email but encountered login issues and cannot access it. When trying to reset my password, I receive a message saying, "Sorry, we couldn't verify it's you." Could you please assist me in deleting the account associated with [redacted]? I am unable to access it to delete and create a new German account. If you require additional information to resolve this matter, please let me know. Thank you for your support, Insa John

I recently forgot my PayPal password when trying to make a purchase. I attempted multiple passwords but none worked. I then used the forgot password tool, opting for a text message confirmation to my phone. Unfortunately, I didn't receive any text, even though I've received texts from PayPal before. I then tried using my email as an alternative option. After entering the code received via email, the site still prompted me for a code that was supposedly sent to my phone but never arrived. Now, whenever I try the forgot password option, the site states they were unable to confirm my identity. I am unable to reset my password at present. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

In late [redacted], I opened an account and recently lost my card in June. After ordering a new one and loading money onto the card, my account was suddenly frozen due to it being unused and flagged for suspicious activity. I was asked to upload approved documents for verification, but I am unable to provide a valid ID since my mother passed away and I moved, resulting in no current address on my ID. I spoke with a representative named Mark on Friday, July 26, [redacted], who assured me that my state DHHR and W2 forms with matching information would suffice. However, my account remains unresolved, and I've been without my phone for nearly 5 days, impacting my work and livelihood. I am extremely dissatisfied and urgently need this matter resolved as my job depends on it. Thank you for addressing this promptly.

I purchased a pair of shoes on eBay, but there was an issue with the delivery address. Despite updating the address promptly on eBay, the seller shipped the item to the old address. Upon realizing this, I contacted the seller directly to rectify the situation. Unfortunately, when the package was marked as delivered, I checked my old address but found nothing. The seller informed me that they were unable to assist further. I am now seeking either the shoes I ordered or a refund for the purchase. - Florence G.

I spent an hour last week seeking help from Amanda, who assured me a senior manager would call before closing time, which didn't happen. As a Board member of IIPP in Dublin, our administrator, who managed our Paypal account, has left, leaving €1,[redacted] in limbo. We've been trying to retrieve this for a month with no success. The frustration and disappointment with your service are high, exacerbated by the lack of available assistance when I called. Please contact me urgently at [redacted]. I can provide our organization's bank details and urge you to transfer our €1,[redacted] promptly. Sincerely, Roisin O Boyle

PayPal currently holds €1,[redacted] for our Institute, and we have been attempting to retrieve it for over a month. If this matter is not resolved within 24 hours, I will have to contact Joe Duffy's radio program to express my frustrations. Following that, I will escalate the issue to the national media. I am simply requesting for the €1,[redacted] to be transferred to the IIPP account in Dublin, and I have the necessary bank details. Please contact me at [redacted] to resolve this situation. It is frustrating that your phone lines are consistently busy, and last week, promises of a callback were unfulfilled. I am Roisin O Boyle, Director of the IIPP, and I am extremely dissatisfied with the service provided by your organization. You can reach me at [redacted].

I placed an order with Berrylook on September 28, [redacted]. They refunded me $11.47 on January 7, [redacted] for an unavailable item. Unfortunately, I returned everything due to poor quality and have yet to receive a refund. Despite emailing them daily, they now claim I can't get a refund as it's been over 6 months. My order number is E400747, and my name is Siobhan McGuire. My account number is 5[redacted] 0[redacted]. I'm owed $64.13, but after reading reviews, I see others have faced similar issues. I wonder if there's any way to resolve this or if you can assist me. It's frustrating to see Berrylook potentially scamming numerous customers. Thanks for any help you can provide.

I was informed that my case was closed as I didn't provide a tracking number. Despite contacting the Resolution Center, I couldn't file my claim as a guest buyer. I sent the tracking number and additional documentation to the wrong email address. The tracking number is UH[redacted]69US, showing the return to China. I haven't received the $61.78 refund and spent an extra $23 on shipping. Referring to my purchase #j[redacted] on 6/9/[redacted] from Stylewe, the dress received was incorrect. Seeking assistance in reopening my case and processing the refund. Nora K.

On July 26, [redacted], I made an online purchase at Touch of Class and chose PayPal as my payment method. Upon checking my bank account today, I noticed that PayPal had directly debited the amount instead of processing it through my PayPal account. When I contacted PayPal, the representative suggested that I reach out to the vendor, speculating that they might not accept PayPal. I then called Touch of Class, and they confirmed that they do indeed accept PayPal. After verifying my order, they acknowledged that it was a PayPal transaction but had been charged directly to my bank account. Despite being a long-time PayPal customer, I am now considering closing my account due to this frustrating error.

My name is Anthony Paul Brewer, born on September 17, [redacted]. My PayPal account linked to [redacted] was hacked, possibly resulting in money being transferred to a different account using my name. I fear my identity was misused to frame me as the culprit. Located at [redacted] Broadway St, Dickinson, Texas [redacted], I suspect foul play. I never engaged in hacking activities but noticed suspicious network activity. It's crucial that PayPal investigates this issue promptly to clear my name from any fraudulent activities. I seek assistance to identify the perpetrators, the associated account, and the IP address involved. I urge for urgent help to prove my innocence. Respectfully, Anthony Paul Brewer II from San Leon, Tx. [redacted]. Thank you for your support!

I sent an invoice to a customer through my PayPal business account. The customer paid using an AMEX card and provided transaction proof. However, the payment has been on Hold for over a week. Contacted PayPal, who stated they have the discretion to hold funds. An article on the PayPal business site mentions accessing funds in 2-3 days. Waiting 21 days for payments is challenging as a small business owner. I rely on PayPal for credit card payments and never had issues before. My PayPal business account is linked to my business bank account. Other credit card payments went through smoothly without delays.

Hello, I am an eBay seller and last year my email, [redacted], which I used for PayPal, was hacked. After resolving the issue, PayPal advised me to open a new email, [redacted], which I have been using since. Recently, I noticed that two transactions from eBay were sent to my old PayPal account. eBay confirmed the error and suggested I contact PayPal to transfer the funds to the new email. The transactions in question are: Transaction #[redacted]0H[redacted]L Customer: Gerald Schultz Item: Diego Brown Western Cowboy boots Sold on: 7/29/19 Second item: Transaction #7VR40924R[redacted]U Customer: Alan Arguello Item: Ken Griffey T-Shirt Sold on: 7/29/19 I am sending this request via email as I am currently at work. Please let me know if you require additional information or if I should contact you by phone. Your help in resolving this matter promptly is highly appreciated. I sent two money transfers of $2,[redacted] each on May 18, [redacted]. The first was a mistake as I accidentally used my checking account instead of my intended funding source, PayPal Credit, for the second transfer. I contacted PayPal within 10 minutes, and miraculously spoke to someone within 5 minutes. I explained the error and was advised that a dispute would be filed. However, it's been 10 weeks, numerous calls later, and I still have no clarity on why the recipient hasn't received the money or where my funds are. I intended to send only $2,[redacted], not $4,[redacted]. I'm missing $2,[redacted], the recipient is still waiting for their $2,[redacted], and PayPal hasn't provided any resolution. Despite my disability, I'm actively seeking help to ensure my recipient receives their intended amount and the surplus $2,[redacted] is returned to my checking account.

I have always found using PayPal to be a secure way to make payments until recently. I have encountered issues with a specific company called LIGHTINABOX. I ordered two sets of women's clothing directly from them, but they were all too small. Despite sending back the items with tracking numbers and paying $66 in shipping fees, PayPal denied my claim due to alleged incorrect tracking numbers. I have tried to resolve this, but the customer service representative I spoke with was unhelpful and seemed disinterested. The situation involves almost $[redacted], and I am frustrated. I hope reaching out here will lead to a fair resolution. Thank you for your assistance.

Dear PayPal team, I recently made two purchases on Sat, 27 July [redacted], with DownUnderWear (Lawson and Lawson) from New Zealand, totaling $71.84 and $42.46. They informed me that the items were no longer available, issued a refund through PayPal with transaction ID [redacted]10R[redacted] and 3TX96814KA988494F respectively. Unfortunately, on the same day, my Debit Card was compromised for $[redacted].41. I promptly reported the issue to my bank, who canceled my card, issued a temporary replacement, and initiated a Disputes Claim for the unauthorized transaction. Meanwhile, PayPal attempted to refund the money to the old card before it was canceled. Could you please provide guidance on how to remove the old card details from your records and add the new card information so I can receive my refund? Thank you, Juanita G.

Hello, this is Brenda Cox. Unfortunately, my purse was stolen, and I have reported it. I am using my new phone now. I received a message, and I'm unsure if it's from you. This is a difficult situation as I've lost all my identification, including my ID, passport, social security card, bank cards, and credit cards, and there's no mail in my mailbox. To make matters worse, my friend who came to assist me fell down the stairs at my complex, fracturing his foot, and I had to be at the hospital during his surgery. It seems like someone may be tampering with my mail. I've created an encrypted ProtonMail account. Lately, I've noticed unusual activities with my emails, texts, and strange phone calls, indicating a potential identity theft issue. I've filed a police report and contacted all the credit card companies, but nothing has arrived in the mail. Any advice on how to proceed would be appreciated.

I'm uncertain about the recent activity on my account as I just received an email confirming it. I haven't made any orders recently and I can't recall the last time I used my account or my password. I am currently in South America, and my listed phone number no longer works here. Also, it seems my security answers are incorrect, although I know the correct ones; there might have been typos. I'm puzzled about accessing my account, assuming my credit card on file has expired and been deactivated since I updated my card in the past year. I only remember my account name and the email associated with it. My account name is Gudrun Redekopp, and my email is [redacted] Please email me with instructions on how to log back in, remove my phone number, and reset my security questions. Thank you.

Hello, I am reaching out regarding a money trace I initiated. I withdrew 72.06 GBP on 13 June, and on 27 June, my bank account encountered an issue and returned all the balance to the source. PayPal mentioned they sent the funds using account details different from the one linked to my PayPal account, possibly causing difficulty in locating the payment. Despite filing the case around 2 July and receiving a response confirming the successful crediting of the money to my bank account, I have not received an update after providing the Return FPID. I have attempted to contact your team over 15 times through phone calls, live chat, and Facebook Messenger with no resolution. I would appreciate your assistance in retrieving my funds. The bank confirmed the return with the following Return FPID: TW[redacted][redacted][redacted][redacted]. I have also included the receipt for your reference. Looking forward to your prompt response. Thank you.

I have been having a challenging time getting a refund from a vendor even after multiple requests. The issue revolves around a digital purchase of images from Stockily on May 7th. Despite the company's claimed 30-day refund policy, several problems have emerged. The images are of low quality and take an excessively long time to download. My initial refund requests were within the specified period, but the vendor seems to be deliberately delaying responses. Numerous attempts to secure a refund on May 15th, June 1st, June 12th, July 27th, July 11th, and July 23rd have all gone unanswered. It is clear that the vendor lacks professionalism and customer support. I am hopeful that with assistance, I can rightfully receive the refund I am owed.
