I switched my primary bank on PayPal to Bank of America in November [redacted], but my old bank, Concho Educators Credit Union, remained linked due to a pending transaction. Despite changing banks online, my PayPal debit card transactions continued to debit from Concho Educators, causing over $[redacted] in NSF fees. PayPal support mentioned a missing backup payment method on my debit card, which was supposed to default to Bank of America. I contacted PayPal for a letter to help reverse the fees at Concho Educators. Please assist with providing this letter. Address: Concho Educators FCU [redacted] W Loop [redacted] San Angelo, TX [redacted] Contact Information: Brittany, Manager [redacted]/[redacted] Thank you, Nicole Dilts

Hello, I have been attempting to contact PayPal multiple times regarding an issue with my account. Unfortunately, I am unable to link my bank account to PayPal to transfer my funds. As a small business owner, it is crucial for me to resolve this matter promptly. The error message I receive when trying to add my bank account is very frustrating and concerning. Despite confirming with my bank that everything is in order, I am still unable to address this problem. I suspect that an incorrect address may be causing the issue. I have tried to update the address on my account, but I keep encountering the same error message. Ignoring this issue could have serious implications for my business. I kindly request your assistance in investigating and resolving this matter. Your prompt attention to this issue would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Josh Mase’s.Goods

I recently purchased two quilts from Amelia Quilt through PayPal. Despite being told they are in production and will contact me when shipped, I've become concerned after discovering complaints labeling it a scam on social media and confirmation from the Better Business Bureau of fraudulent activity. Upon researching the company, I couldn't find the listed business name that PayPal charged me for. Instead, I found a company managed by an Amy Phan in Hong Kong. The charges are on my credit card, and I'm unsure of the steps to take. I attempted to reach your fraud department by phone, but was placed on hold for an extended period. It's crucial for your company to be aware of this situation to prevent association with such deceitful actions. I kindly request a prompt response regarding this matter. Thank you for your immediate attention.

I have funds from an eBay sale being held until delivery is confirmed. Despite my successful transactions, I find this unnecessary. Though the price for the item was lower than expected, it's a rare sale, so I opted for a small profit to ensure it sells. Shipping will cost me $[redacted] or more, which I shouldn't have to cover due to eBay's setup. However, PayPal is forcing me to pay out of pocket. This is the fourth time I've faced this hold, with the last resulting in a 15-day delay for an overseas shipment. This is unacceptable. I plan to refund the buyer and advise them to contact PayPal about the issue. I attempted to call but you were closed. I am perplexed by this situation given my clean transaction record. My PayPal email is [redacted], and my business name is 7 North Auto. I look forward to a response by tomorrow, December 20th, or I will proceed with the refund. Thank you for your attention.

I have a PayPal Cashback Mastercard, but my PayPal account has been permanently limited. To access and redeem my cash back rewards, I must log into PayPal, then navigate to Synchrony Bank to choose "redeem cashback." This would allow me to transfer the funds to PayPal and then to my bank account. Since I no longer have this option due to the limitations on my PayPal account, Synchrony Bank suggested contacting PayPal for an alternative method. I am looking for a way to redeem my rewards without going through PayPal, possibly by having Synchrony Bank transfer my points directly to my Mastercard. However, this option doesn't seem to be available at the moment.

Dear Sir/Madam, I am Bruce Wei from China and I am engaged in a trading business with a sales manager named Tsymbal Olersandr who operates under the company Blond Atelier B.V. We have signed a contract for scrap copper wire, with a total cost of $34,[redacted] paid through PayPal. However, between Nov 8 and Dec 6, Tsymbal Olersandr repeatedly refunded my payments and asked me to resend the money or file a claim for a refund on PayPal, stating that the supplier did not ship the goods. Subsequently, my PayPal account was permanently limited, with $9,[redacted] USD and 8,[redacted] EUR held across Tsymbal's four accounts. I have requested him to either ship the goods and receive the remaining payment of $15,[redacted] USD, or refund the total amount of $18,[redacted] USD. However, Tsymbal has now been unreachable for two weeks and I fear he may be attempting to evade the situation. I have reported this issue to seek assistance in freezing Tsymbal's accounts and safeguarding my funds from further withdrawal. Thank you.

I attempted to purchase an Uber gift card online for my brother to use for his airport ride. Unfortunately, Uber was unable to process the request, and my money got stuck in authorization. I am feeling extremely distressed because my brother's flight is soon, and not being able to help him is upsetting. My brother, who recently joined the Marines, means a lot to me, and I haven't cried this much in a long time. If the authorization can't be canceled, he might not make it home for Christmas. I'm hoping that PayPal can assist in releasing the authorization and returning the funds to my account.

I recently set up my mother's email account since she is not familiar with new technology due to her age. Surprisingly, she independently created a PayPal account, but mistakenly left out two characters in her official email, causing her PayPal address to be incorrect. Although she was able to link her bank card for deposits, when she won money on a gaming site, we needed to confirm her email to receive the funds. Unfortunately, we didn't receive the confirmation email, leading to the money being sent back to the gaming site. To resolve this, I am a named user on her PayPal account and have changed the primary email to mine. However, the gaming site requires the confirmation to be sent to the original email address. I need advice on how to ensure the money is not lost, as it is currently held in the gaming account.

On December 24, [redacted], at 12:02:15 a.m. HKT, a payment of $40 was mistakenly sent from my account ([redacted]) to Facebook ADS without my authorization. I did not make any purchases from this company. Upon closer inspection, I discovered that the payment was directed to '[redacted]' in Ireland, despite me residing in Hong Kong. This discrepancy has led me to suspect that my account might have been compromised. I recently sold a pair of shoes on the Grail app to a buyer named Dan Skelly in Ireland. The payment was made through PayPal, but it is currently on hold even though I have already shipped the item and provided the tracking information. I am uneasy about the legitimacy of this transaction and concerned about potential issues arising with the release of the payment.

Dear PayPal Team, I have an ongoing case with you, reference "PP-D-[redacted]7." The seller is fraudulent, as evident from their history. Numerous customers, myself included, ordered a phone and received a cheap headphone instead. My payment of $15 also included taxes. The company requested that I close the dispute on PayPal to receive a refund. When I insisted they communicate the same message to PayPal, they tried to shift the responsibility to me, claiming I needed to return their product at my own cost. Despite this, I informed them that they could keep the money and threatened to expose their fraudulent activities on social media and my YouTube channel. My plea to PayPal is not just about my refund but to cease business with this deceitful company that has misled many others. It is disheartening to see multiple disputes involving this fraudulent business on PayPal. I trust PayPal will take proactive measures against them; otherwise, I may have to reconsider using PayPal. I am seeking direct communication to address this issue without the need for extensive forms. Thank you.

For the past 2 years, I have been attempting to access my PayPal account without success. The phone numbers linked to my account are no longer valid, making it impossible to receive the verification text messages PayPal requires. Despite numerous attempts, the website only directs me in circles, insisting on a log-in for email communication, which I can't complete without the text verification. I anticipate having to send this complaint repeatedly before it is addressed. Therefore, I have saved a copy for future reference. Thank you, Richard P. Seibert.

The phone number 1-[redacted] has been compromised, leading me to become a victim of fraud. I initially sought a $56.24 refund for an accidental duplicate order I received from a vendor, and was misled into purchasing $[redacted] google play cards instead. The scammers impersonated PayPal, instructing me to buy the gift cards to receive a refund. Throughout a long call that lasted from 4:30 pm to 12:30 am, they coerced me into buying a total of $10,[redacted] in google play cards by promising compensation and crediting the amount back to my credit card. Despite my confusion and suspicions, I provided them with all the verification codes as instructed. Following this incident, I discovered my sister faced a similar situation with the same phone number. I reported the issue to authorities in Omaha, Nebraska, but unfortunately, the number remains on the website. It is concerning that other PayPal numbers could also be compromised. PayPal's failure to protect its customers has led to significant financial losses for me. I have involved American Express and filed a police report, demanding a full refund and awaiting a response from PayPal regarding this distressing scam.

I am reaching out about a dispute involving a negative balance of $97.74. In truth, I provided the customer with the product, and he promptly paid for it. However, your company placed the funds in pending status, causing a delay of over three weeks before I received the payment and deposited it in my bank. To my surprise, the customer has now raised a claim of "suspicious activity" on my Paypal account, which I find unfounded. I have reported this issue to EBAY and hope for a fair resolution. I am keen to discuss this matter with a Paypal representative to understand how such false claims can impact my account without prior communication on the matter.

There were unauthorized transactions on my PayPal account. After changing my password and reporting the transactions, PayPal restricted my access for identity verification. However, every time I provide the required information and ID, I am directed to change my password repeatedly, and now I can't log in as it doesn't recognize my identity. I cannot recall the security questions set up in [redacted] or [redacted], and I am unsure if the provided phone number is toll-free.

I requested a refund from the seller, and today I received an email stating that the product was shipped on the 27th of December from China with a tracking number. Upon asking which address it was shipped to, I was informed it would take 3-5 weeks for delivery. I initially ordered the product on the 11th of December and requested a refund due to the extended delivery time. Considering the delay and uncertainty, I will be changing my mailbox and forwarding my mail to another address for upcoming travel. I have reached out to the seller and PayPal for a refund. This is a unique situation for me as a PayPal user. Thank you for your prompt assistance in resolving this issue. - Elayne B.

My account has been limited due to selling my first item. I visited the resolution center and provided the requested information. Despite calling four times with over 6 hours of wait time in total, I am still unable to make a purchase. They informed me that my account will remain on hold until the shipped item is received. I explained that I am fine with them holding the money but requested the ability to make a purchase since I have two credit cards and two bank accounts linked as backups. My name is Mitchell Merriam, and my email is [redacted] I am still waiting for two promised calls from a supervisor since yesterday and gave up today after a two-hour hold with no human assistance after being transferred. Another issue is when I attempt to log in, it prompts me to verify my number with a confirmation code, but after five attempts, I did not receive the message with the code. I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with the customer service, as it rivals Comcast for its poor quality.

Subject: Refund Request for Faulty Flashlights Transaction ID# [redacted]2KX[redacted] December 26, [redacted] To whom it may concern, Concerning my purchase of 4 Telescopic Flexible Magnetic Flashlights on 11/28/[redacted], I must express my disappointment with the quality and functionality of the product. Despite the promised delivery period of 12 - 20 days, the flashlights did not arrive in time for Christmas. Upon their late arrival, I discovered that the flashlights were defective – the lights did not turn on, and I encountered difficulties in accessing the battery compartments of 3 out of the 4 flashlights. Furthermore, the magnetic strength of the flashlights was insufficient to attach them to metal surfaces, as advertised. Given the unsatisfactory condition of the flashlights, I am requesting a return label to facilitate their return. I will include a copy of the order, tracking information, and the date of delivery with the returned items. I am also seeking a refund for this order due to the poor quality of the product. Yours sincerely, L.O.

My name is Jeffrey James, and you can reach me at [redacted] Recently, both my PayPal account and Bank of the West online banking were compromised. There have been three unauthorized transactions in total. On Oct. 25, two transactions were made - one for $6 and one for $[redacted]. Then on Nov. 20, another transaction was made for $[redacted]. I have already contacted Bank of the West, and they have closed the card ending in ([redacted]). I kindly request that these funds be refunded back into my PayPal balance as my identity has been compromised, and I have reported it. Thank you.

I received an email from PayPal stating that due to not receiving the tracking number for the returned item by today, Dec 28, my refund has been denied. However, I did send the tracking number in my email yesterday, Dec 27, as requested. I have proof of sending the tracking number, a photo of the item, a picture of the paid mailer with the item, and a copy of the mailed receipt. I fulfilled my part of the process on time, yet my refund was denied today. I ask for the refund as promised. Thank you, C.Q., Case # PP-D-[redacted]0. Email: [redacted], Phone: [redacted].
