I am traveling for a few years. I am currently living in Mexico. Many of the merchants here use PayPal exclusively and only accept payments online. However in trying to use it with a hotel reservation, PayPal is asking to send a security code to my USA cell phone, which NO LONGER IS ACTIVE. When I spent over ** minutes on the phone with a representative (mostly on-hold) I was told "Just don't use your account while traveling and call us when you get back to the USA". For me, this is an unacceptable response. Your associate told me my email address, I did not give it to them. I am told by a representative (Sruthi) after explaining that Customer Service call was unhelpful, that I should call Customer Service once I get this issue resolved. This makes no sense. What "CAN" be done to resolve this issue? I am not in the USA, I am in Mexico. I do NOT have a USE cell phone, I have a Mexico number. Your online change info will NOT accept a non-US number to send a verification code. There are NO other options online to verify my account. I look forward to your resolution.
