Buyer bought item on Monday **** and received promptly and undamaged in proper packaging today **** through priority mail (which I covered the remainder of). The buyer requested a return with a reason of “doesn’t fit” and a message stating she loved the bag, but it was smaller than she thought it would be. I then messaged her and explained that the measurements along with clear photos, including ones next to my own hand and of a model wearing it several ways for reference, were all included in the listing and that if she had more questions she could have asked like many others who were interested did and I would have gladly helped her if she was unsure. She did not, and admitted this to her fault. I offered solutions such as her listing and reselling the item on her own - she could easily make more on it than what I sold it to her for! She was unwilling to avoid the hassle of returns and refunds or compromise in any way. Despite “no returns accepted” on the listing and clear, accurate descriptions of the item, I still tried to provide great customer service while still remaining true to myself and knowing what is right and fair. I contacted and explained the situation to ebay’s customer service via phone (spoke to George) who advised me that I was well within my right, and even suggested, that I decline the return since I was honest and have carried out my responsibilities as the seller. Please refer to my listing as well as our message correspondence on eBay for proof of what I have explained here, I also have screenshots of all the key details to defend myself, although I hope I will not have to and that the evidence will speak for itself.
