After my dad transferred $[redacted] to me via PayPal, I noticed my account was restricted. Following the steps to remove the limitation, I received an email confirming my account was restored. But, despite attempting to claim the money six times using my email, the balance remains at $0. My dad mentioned seeing the status as "pending claim" rather than "unclaimed." Checking for solutions on the PayPal website, it suggested the sender may have used the wrong email, which isn't the case, or that my email needed confirmation. I reconfirmed my email today, although it was already verified from when I first opened the account four years ago. Moreover, each time I log in, PayPal prompts me to change my password, which has occurred thrice just to access my account. Trying to resolve this with customer service all day has been challenging, with long hold times of 30-40 minutes, only for the call to disconnect due to technical issues. I urgently need the money by Sunday to purchase a car, and the lack of assistance is frustrating after spending the entire day seeking help since noon.

To PayPal Customer Service, I am requesting an immediate refund of $69.99 for a purchase that I need to be processed without further delay. If action is not taken promptly, I will have no choice but to involve my bank and legal representation. I am extremely frustrated with the lack of communication and practices exhibited by both PayPal and the company I have raised a dispute against. I no longer require the shoes that were ordered from the company a month ago, especially since the event I purchased them for has already passed. I notified PayPal and the company, FSJ, of this before I even received a shipping confirmation. Despite receiving a shipping confirmation weeks ago, it was clear that the information provided was inaccurate. I have meticulously saved all related emails. FSJ has a troubling pattern of only dispatching orders after multiple inquiries, and when they arrive, the shoes do not match the advertised product. These are the key points of my case. Upon reviewing my emails, I have identified more issues that need addressing promptly. I have consistently been proactive in my responses throughout this process. I kindly ask PayPal to reimburse me for this order immediately. Despite being aware of the resolution center and its processes, I am disappointed that this matter has not been resolved in my favor yet, as suggested by your automated messages. I urge you to reach out to me directly regarding this matter, rather than redirecting me to the resolution center, as I am prepared to pursue further action. Thank you for your attention to this matter. L.R.

I received an email from eBay regarding a recent transaction I made using PayPal. The email informed me that an unauthorized third party might have accessed the seller’s account and that the transaction was cancelled. I was advised to open a request with the Resolution Center on eBay's website if I had already paid. If not, to consider the transaction canceled and not send payment. eBay assured that my account was not compromised.

I received an email about a transaction I did not make. The email claims I sent $[redacted].00 CAD to Lakeland United Way via PayPal. It asks me to log in and cancel the payment if unauthorized. The email provides details of the transaction with Devon Canada Corporation for 2 Oilers Tickets on May 14. It mentions the charge will appear as "PAYPAL *UNITEDWAY" on my credit card statement. The email states that I have [redacted] days to open a dispute if needed in the Resolution Center. It also suggests getting verified for protection and redirects to the Help Center if I have questions. It seems like a fraudulent transaction, and I'm unsure how to proceed.

I have been dealing with this issue since March regarding a fraudulent purchase on my eBay account. The $[redacted].99 purchase was caught early, and I took action by stopping the payment and contacting eBay and PayPal. However, there was confusion with my account balance where I saw a +$[redacted].99 then -$[redacted].99, which seems to have been transferred to my bank account erroneously. Despite providing my bank statement multiple times, it took a long time for the collections department to acknowledge receiving them. After being transferred through several people, a trace was put on the funds, which falsely traced back to an account I had already proven was not associated with the transaction. My account remains in the negative, and I am frustrated with the lack of resolution and the implication of dishonesty by customer service. I will attempt to contact them once more to rectify this issue.

I purchased a new hardback copy of "Lost Connections" by Johann Hari on eBay from a seller named enrlica in Albania. I used PayPal for payment. Despite the order confirmation and book page stating it was new and unread with arrival dates, the item received was an ebook. I requested a refund after refusing the ebook. My claim (PP-[redacted]-[redacted]-[redacted]-[redacted]) with PayPal was denied twice, even though the confirmation and sale page clearly indicated it was a physical book. I provided this evidence to PayPal, but they claimed it was submitted too late. enrlica has six more books listed on eBay, all appearing as new and unread with arrival dates, yet they are ebooks. I believe this is misleading and have reported it to eBay. Unfortunately, eBay cannot assist as I have an open claim with PayPal. My recent call to PayPal was unhelpful, as the customer service representative either disconnected the call or put me on hold without notice. The situation is frustrating, and I feel let down by the lack of resolution.

I have contacted the seller to initiate shipment of the item I purchased. Upon receiving an email from PayPal, I was prompted to log into my account for transaction details. Should the payment be unauthorized, I was instructed to log in and cancel to receive a full refund. The seller's contact information is [redacted] Currently, the shipping details have not been provided. I bought the "Shark Rocket Ultra Light Upright & Stick Vacuum, Orange (Certified Refurbished)" for $39.99 USD, with a discount of $2.28 USD applied. The total cost, including shipping, is $37.71 USD. The payment has been sent to the seller. I seem to have received an email from PayPal confirming this transaction, which I did not make through PayPal. I seek advice on this matter.

I requested eBay's assistance on April 24, [redacted], and the case is now closed. eBay opened the case on my behalf on April 24. The return item was delivered on April 13, and I provided tracking details with USPS tracking number [redacted][redacted]41. The seller approved the request on the same day. On April 11, the seller messaged me asking if I still had the original shipping package and provided instructions for returning the item. I requested a return shipping label on the same day. Prior to that, on April 9, I mentioned an issue with the item's noise and focus light in my messages to the seller. The seller offered a partial refund without the return of the item. Ultimately, on April 7, I initiated the return due to the item not working correctly, indicating the noise and defect in the focus light.

I have been trying to resolve an issue with a broken chandelier I purchased from a merchant on Etsy for nearly two months now. The chandelier, which cost $[redacted].00, was damaged during shipment from Turkey. Despite numerous conversations through Etsy, we have been unable to reach a resolution directly with the merchant. I used PayPal Credit to make the payment and now need PayPal's assistance to help resolve this matter. I ended up having to purchase another chandelier via PayPal to fulfill our property lease in Galesburg, IL. The merchant's suggestion to glue the broken arm back on is not acceptable to me, as I expect a replacement for the damaged product. I have already contacted PayPal after receiving the damaged chandelier, but I have not been able to reach a satisfactory resolution with the merchant through Etsy.

Yesterday, I spent hours being transferred between departments and waiting on hold without any resolution. After sending a secure message, they emailed back asking me to call them. Today, I have been on the phone for another 2 hours, being bounced around and put on hold repeatedly. I had purchased a robotic vacuum from an online seller but later found out they switched the model. I had evidence saved in a screenshot which I used in a PayPal dispute. However, PayPal denied my claim without explanation or chance to appeal. Despite having proof, PayPal did not consider my case properly and dismissed it. I am frustrated with their lack of support, especially considering the amount of money that goes through my account regularly. It's disappointing how little they value their customers' time and rights. I advise others to think twice before relying on PayPal's protection services.

I recently purchased a Nautica jacket and a red Nike sweater from kycvintage.com. Despite the items being promised within a week, they arrived well over a month later. I opened an Item Not Received claim with PayPal, which was inexplicably closed. After contacting PayPal customer service, they assured me of a refund in 10 days. However, the refund did not materialize. When the package from the seller arrived a few days later, the Nike sweater was missing. I paid for two items but only received one, and the delivery was significantly delayed. Despite my attempts to appeal the case on the website, I encountered errors. I am incredibly frustrated and simply want my money refunded.

Hello, I am Angelina Rivera and I bought a puppy from Buckeye Kennel. I collected Pixie on a long drive on 4/29/18. After taking her to the vet, they advised me to bring a stool sample back in a couple of weeks because Pixie was unusually quiet and small. Soon after, Pixie showed signs of weakness and fatigue. I rushed her to the hospital where they stabilized her sugar levels. Over the next few days, Pixie's health deteriorated rapidly. Upon returning to the hospital, the vet suspected a serious issue with Pixie's heart or lungs. A necropsy revealed she had a congenital brain abnormality called Hydrocephalus. The breeder was informed, and unfortunately, their response has been hurtful and abusive. Despite the breeder's contract guaranteeing reimbursement, they have been uncooperative. I am devastated by the loss of Pixie after only six days, but I hope for a resolution with the breeder soon. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Warm regards, Angie

I made a purchase on January 12th, [redacted], using my credit card through PayPal. Unfortunately, my credit card was stolen and deactivated. I have now added new credit cards to my PayPal account and removed the stolen one. Recently, I received a refund from Betterdaystore.com, but it was mistakenly credited to my old deactivated credit card ending in [redacted]. When I contacted the company to request the refund to be processed to one of my active credit cards, they directed me to contact PayPal for assistance as they were unable to help. Despite my multiple attempts to reach PayPal customer support, I have been unable to connect with anyone. The refund was issued on May 2nd for $53.90 USD, and I am hoping to have it transferred to one of my active cards. I appreciate any help with this matter. - Tonya

I just opened a PayPal account today and mistakenly thought my card details alone would allow me to receive money. My aunt initially sent £15, but it did not reach me. I then requested £15, but upon receiving it, my PayPal balance showed £14.29. I encountered problems verifying my bank account since I hadn't set it up beforehand, assuming my card would suffice. Realizing I needed to verify my bank to withdraw funds, I decided to send the money back to my aunt in full because I needed it urgently and couldn't wait the 2 days as advised. How can I send the money back to my aunt via my PayPal account, and also, what happened to the £15 my aunt originally sent before I requested it?

On my recent bank statement, there are two PayPal charges dated 5/2 that I didn't recognize. The first charge was for a Whirlpool stand mixer priced at $[redacted].99, and the second was for a Series 3 Apple Watch priced at $[redacted].99. I am unsure of who received the payments for these products and would like to request their contact information. I suspect these charges may be related to signing up for product testing with Survey Junkie, Vindale Research, or Global Test Marketing. However, I never received any emails informing me about these products being sent to me or providing instructions. I am feeling puzzled as I am now down $[redacted] with no clarity on what to do with these items. Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Dave Voight.

1. I am inquiring about the timeline for the clearance of the "echeck" on my PayPal account. The initial estimated date was 5/18, but the process has extended beyond that. Regrettably, I did not have a debit or credit card linked to my account at the time of the purchase. Consequently, the seller is unable to send the item promptly. According to my bank records, the check cleared on Wednesday. How much longer might this delay persist? I am eager to receive my item at the earliest. 2. Additionally, I have an ongoing dispute concerning a prior transaction, unrelated to the current "echeck" issue. I was informed a few days ago that I would be refunded by Sunday for the item that was never shipped by the seller, only a shipping label was created. Since around the 13th of May, the status has remained "pre-shipment."

I have utilized PayPal for splitting restaurant bills with friends effortlessly for years. Recently, within the last month, I have encountered an issue where I can no longer send funds instantly for free. The only options available now involve incurring a fee by using PayPal Credit or debit cards, or choosing the free, albeit slower, option of an eCheck from my checking account which takes up to a week to process. Although I am aware that sending money instantly without fees is feasible as my friends continue to do so seamlessly, I am perplexed by this change. I am seeking guidance on how to revert to instant fee-free payments. Currently, my PayPal account does not carry a balance, and both my debit card and checking account are linked and verified.

I have a complaint regarding the email [redacted] on PayPal. They have falsely accused me of leaving the game on my normal character and have banned me along with other staff members. I have proof of the transactions and can provide pictures if necessary. In the claim, they mentioned purchases of SP on the website, but I only bought SP once, not the claimed 14 times. The individual sold me items directly via Skype, provided incorrect links, and now seems to be attempting to access my emails using the same password I used for the game. I have already changed my password on PayPal, but I suspect they may have hacking tools. I am concerned for the security of my account and wonder if there are additional security measures available.

I recently had a dispute opened against me by a customer who turned out to be a scammer. The issue arose on Instagram, where I had conflicts with them. Despite my shop policy, I declined to refund the customer and chose not to send the items due to their threats of destroying them. I value my work as an artist and prefer them to go to someone who appreciates them. This individual has a history of scamming 19 other shops, and I provided PayPal with 15 pieces of evidence to support my case. Unfortunately, PayPal ruled in their favor. As a result, I am now facing a financial loss of -£[redacted], impacting my ability to cover rent and food expenses. This scammer has targeted other businesses, accruing over $[redacted] in unpaid invoices. I am appalled by PayPal's decision to support a scammer for the sake of positive reviews.
