PayPal has requested authentication for my phone number but due to being disabled, using the phone is challenging, and reception is poor. I am unable to respond to calls. Would it be possible for me to use a second email address for verification instead? I kindly request PayPal to consider allowing a second email account for transaction verification purposes. Thank you.

I'm writing to address my ongoing case with reference number PP-D-[redacted]9. Despite my efforts to communicate with the seller since December 12, [redacted], I feel like my interactions have not been considered in the decision made by PayPal. The seller mentioned issuing a full refund on January 22, [redacted], even though the missing item was delivered to me on January 26, [redacted], after I had already bought a similar item elsewhere on January 19, [redacted]. I've been trying to reach out for assistance but have found the online system complex and wanting a more direct conversation with a customer service representative. Your help in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, J. Cunningham

Hello everyone, I placed an order for a fountain on January 18th, which cost 49.98 pounds. Unfortunately, I have yet to receive the item. After contacting eBay, they informed me that the payment was directed to a PayPal account under the name AGGREY4TRIC EB. The transaction occurred on January 19th at 11:52. I have initiated a dispute with my bank, but they advised me to also reach out to you regarding this issue. You can contact me at [redacted] or [redacted]4. Thank you.

I'm having trouble accessing my PayPal account due to a change in my contact phone numbers. The account was created years ago when I lived in the UK and frequently used eBay for online purchases, though I don't receive funds into my PayPal account. Recently, I ordered items from eBay for £11.14, which were promptly canceled in favor of a better option from the same Chinese seller who acknowledged I would be refunded the amount. However, I haven't seen this refund on my Visa statement and am unsure if it's in my PayPal account. I need guidance on how to access my PayPal account with my updated contact numbers for verification. Assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I am currently in the process of closing my PayPal account. I opened it many years ago, initially used it infrequently, and have not used it for quite some time now. I recently reset my forgotten password, but it was insufficient for their security measures. PayPal requested to verify my identity by calling the phone number associated with my account, which is a landline from an old address I haven't used in a decade. While attempting to update my profile as per their instructions, I hit a roadblock since they require a phone verification before allowing any changes. I attempted to contact their helpline, but I couldn't provide the details of the outdated payment card they have on file because I cannot access my account. This loop has been frustrating. Can someone offer assistance with this predicament?

I purchased a part two months ago that did not fit. I returned it and received a refund last week on February 8th. However, my bank account was closed, so the refund was sent back to PayPal. Now, PayPal claims they have no record of my account. This situation is frustrating as it has happened before. I am trying to retrieve my $74 refund from Kenneth Walker at Pro Prop Shaft Parts in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The refund was processed through PayPal on the 8th of February. My bank, Mission Federal Credit Union in San Diego, confirmed that the refund was returned to PayPal due to the account being closed. I have evidence of the refund on my phone.

I recently bought a Hang drum from Zenpercussion on eBay with order number 25-06[redacted]5 using my Barclays debit card ending in [redacted]. After discovering I have Prostate cancer, I decided to cancel the order, and Zenpercussion agreed. The cancellation number is [redacted]. The initial payment of £[redacted].14 was pending in my Barclays account, but it has now been deducted fully without reflecting in my PayPal account. I am unsure if Zenpercussion received the payment. I would appreciate help in locating the missing funds or reaching out to Zenpercussion for resolution. My new email is [redacted], and you can reach me at [redacted]0. Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

I would like to cancel my Gmail address, [redacted], and replace it with my new Gmail, [redacted], on PayPal. I am unable to access my old Gmail account where the money from a transaction might be. The amount is £[redacted].14. The transaction was for a purchase from gudadrum from zenpercussion, order number 25-06[redacted]5, and the cancellation ID is 52[redacted]1. I spoke to Kurt at PayPal, and he mentioned the money is in my PayPal account and will be transferred to my Barclays account ending in [redacted], account number [redacted]2. Could you please advise when the money will be transferred? Will it happen automatically, or do I need to instruct PayPal? Thank you for your assistance. John Towell.

I recently filed a claim with PayPal regarding an item I did not receive. PayPal informed me that the claim was not upheld due to proof of delivery provided by the seller. However, I want to clarify that I never received the item and suspect the seller is running a scam. Despite reaching out to them twice, they have not confirmed the delivery of the item. I want to emphasize that I am a regular PayPal user and would not falsely claim non-receipt of an item. The details of the transaction in question are as follows: Dispute Case ID: PP-D-[redacted]46 Transaction Amount: $43.13 USD Dispute Amount: $43.13 USD Transaction ID: 33A18050XV837430V Transaction Date: 13 February [redacted] Sincerely, A.M. M. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I am the administrator for the Paypal account of the Thomas Fowell Buxton Society (TFBS). Our bank account is with Barclays, with the last four digits being [redacted]. Transactions occur between our bank account and Paypal account as needed. Although we previously hosted our website with Hostpapa, we transitioned to GoDaddy in March. At the end of March, Hostpapa mistakenly deducted £[redacted].46 from our Paypal account, prompting Paypal to debit our bank account to cover the amount. After contacting Hostpapa and receiving a refund of £[redacted].46 to our Paypal account, I expected the account to show a net balance of £[redacted].46, but currently, it appears as zero. Additionally, as of April 8th, Paypal has not refunded any amounts back into our Barclays account. I seek clarification on the situation. Sincerely, Dr. John Fannon

Dear Community, I am seeking advice as I recently faced an issue with my PayPal account. On March 5, [redacted], I received a payment of $[redacted] from thbet b.v, which I linked to my Philippine debit card. Following a request for a special code and providing a bank statement, my account was unexpectedly restricted. Despite submitting all required documents, including my passport, PayPal deemed my account high risk and restricted it permanently, holding my funds for [redacted] days. I am puzzled by this decision as both my debit card and PayPal account are in my name. Despite my attempts to communicate, I only receive automated responses. I am reaching out for guidance on how to proceed as I am willing to provide any additional documentation necessary. Thank you for your support, Ian C.

I engage in online paid surveys and have successfully completed several surveys with Lifepoints. My rewards are paid through Perks (Europe) Ltd. However, I have encountered an issue between March 22nd and April 6th. When I try to redeem my rewards by following the steps in the email, I receive an error message stating, "We're sorry, we're not able to process your request." Despite contacting Customer Service, they insist that Perks (Europe) has not sent any payments, but I have evidence to the contrary with the screenshots. I typically rely on Pay Pal for online transactions, and I have previously praised your service to others. Unfortunately, this ongoing problem has significantly impacted my opinion of Pay Pal. Please address this situation promptly.

This is an urgent issue that requires immediate assistance. I have a UK PayPal account under the email [redacted], but I cannot recall the password. I moved to Canada 1 1/2 years ago and requested to deactivate the UK account. I have since opened a Canadian PayPal account under [redacted] I tried linking my UK bank account to the Canadian account but couldn't as it was already linked to the UK PayPal. To resolve this, I need to completely close the UK PayPal account to be able to link the UK bank account to my Canadian PayPal. I am unable to cancel the UK account myself because I no longer have access to the associated email address. Also, I cannot update the phone number or address on the UK account due to being in Canada now. Please assist me in closing the UK PayPal account promptly. I have not received any resolution regarding my request from yesterday when I contacted you to file a complaint. I need to close my UK PayPal account, but I am unable to do so as they claim I do not have the correct password, despite having recorded all access details in a registry book. I have relocated to Canada almost a year ago, informed PayPal I wouldn't use the UK account, and now need to close it to link my Canadian PayPal account. Since my UK account has been linked since its opening, I must close the UK PayPal account to register my UK bank account with my Canadian PayPal. Please assist me in sorting this out promptly. I have been struggling with this issue for too long, and it is a straightforward process to close the UK account and unlink the UK bank account.

I have a UK PayPal account registered under [redacted], but I lost my password and cannot access it in order to close the account. It is urgent that I link my Canadian PayPal account with a UK bank account. My family has lost their wallet and are stranded in another country, leaving us without any resources to live for the next week. We have been starving for two days due to this unfortunate situation. I am currently in Canada and unable to use the current UK account details. Please help me close the UK PayPal account and unlink it from the UK bank account so I can link it with my Canadian PayPal account to receive assistance. Thank you in advance. Marie MacNally

I recently discovered withdrawals from my bank account through PayPal that I did not authorize. On February 14th, [redacted], £76.90 was debited to MUMUTECHNOL EB with reference number [redacted] HK. I am not familiar with PayPal, and despite trying to contact them via email, my attempt failed as my email address was not accepted. I contacted my bank, Royal Bank of Scotland, and they advised me to reach out to PayPal for assistance. They provided me with the number 0[redacted]. I have made multiple attempts to call them over the past few days but have been unable to speak to a representative after spending approximately four hours on hold. I would greatly appreciate any help with this issue.

We are seeking clarification regarding the issues encountered with PayPal for the first time. Despite timely payments of all charges, our account was unreasonably placed under limitation by the legal team. We promptly submitted proof of purchases, shipments, Company Registration, and Incorporation documents as requested. Despite full document submission, our account remains permanently limited without adequate discussion. Efforts to contact customer service have yielded no explanation. Recently, we discovered funds were deducted without prior notice; only after an inquiry did we learn of this action. Our concern is the extent of damage caused to PayPal. With approximately 21,[redacted] GBP held in the account, the status of remaining funds is unknown as no transfer has been received. It has been several months of chasing the funds with no resolution. We seek clarity on the damages incurred and the untransferred funds.

I recently received a letter from a debt collection company called Wescot, initiated by Paypal, asking me for money that I believe I do not owe them. Upon trying to access my Paypal account, I discovered it had been restricted. Searching through my email, I did not initially find any correspondence from Paypal. After checking my spam folder, I found an email from Paypal dated 09/12/[redacted]. The email indicated that my account was restricted due to suspicious activity on credit cards linked to my account, even though I do not have any credit cards. I attempted to contact customer service but was unsuccessful, spending hours on hold speaking to multiple people and getting transferred.

Case number PP-D-[redacted]34: My name is Philip Jessop. I filed a claim with PayPal, and I recently received an email from you confirming a full refund for a damaged record I received in transit from Australia to the UK. Upon opening the package, the record was melted and completely ruined due to heat exposure. I contacted the seller and provided a picture of the damaged item, but I have not received the full refund yet. The email from you mentioned that the seller requires the item to be returned at my cost of £12 before issuing the refund, which I find unfair as the item is beyond repair. I believe the seller should bear the responsibility for ensuring items arrive safely. I suspect the courier might be at fault, and the seller should address it with them. I am disappointed by this situation and seek clarification on how to proceed. Best regards, Philip Jessop

The authentication system is not working for me. I receive a code to input on my phone, but the system never calls me for authentication. PayPal Customer Services confirmed that my details are correct, but the call is never received, leading to authentication failure. This issue started when phone authentication was introduced. Regarding your response, it seems clear that PayPal (UK) needs to take action to resolve this issue. It is not my responsibility to fix the problem, I am seeking a solution via this platform. It appears the website may not be able to help address this problem.
