Hello, I recently received a letter about an inactive account that I haven't used for 10 years. Unfortunately, I no longer have access to the email address or password associated with the account, making it impossible for me to log in and close it. While I may have missed previous emails due to not having access to the account, I now want to request the closure of the account. I am unsure if there are any funds left in the account. If there are, I would like them to be donated through your charity system. Thank you.

I bought an item on eBay back in September before its release date scheduled for November 12th. Despite my numerous attempts to contact the seller, I haven't received the item or any response. I reached out to eBay for help and asked the seller to contact me urgently, but I still haven't heard back. An eBay customer service representative suggested I contact PayPal for a possible full refund.

I recently received an email regarding the closure of my PayPal account containing over £[redacted] of savings for my dog's upcoming surgery on the 7th. I stored the money in my PayPal account for safekeeping, and now I am unable to withdraw it for 6 months. I desperately need access to these funds immediately to save my dog's life. Please consider my situation and help me resolve this issue as soon as possible.

I need to update my telephone number on my account, but I can't proceed because the system is sending the verification code to my old number. This has caused an issue as my account seems to have been compromised, as I received a debt recovery letter from Moorcroft Debt Recovery Agency regarding an unknown £78.30 debt. I have already contacted Moorcroft with their provided references [redacted]57 and [redacted][redacted]50, and they advised reaching out to you to report the fraudulent activity on my account. My new telephone number is 07[redacted]02, and my email remains the same as on the account. Urgent assistance is required to address this matter promptly.

I usually rely on PayPal without any problems. Recently, I made a purchase on eBay using PayPal and encountered an additional authentication prompt for another purchase. Unfortunately, the verification method required either a text or call to an outdated phone number. I was unable to select an option for not having access to that number. Now, I am unable to log in because each time I enter my credentials, I am redirected to the same screen with the outdated phone number, preventing me from accessing my account to update the information.

The organization I work with uses a PayPal account. I have the email address and password to access it, but login attempts now require a telephone number connected to the account. Although I know the number, it is no longer valid. After entering my login information, a message prompts additional validation via a code sent to the registered phone number, which I can't access. Unfortunately, I am unable to complete the login process as there seems to be no alternative way to contact PayPal without logging in first.

Hello, thank you for your assistance. Your help is greatly appreciated. Issue: I need access to my account, but I forgot the security questions and lost my phone. I can receive emails, but I'm unable to access my account without two out of three verification methods. Since I no longer have a phone, I'm unsure how to proceed without access to my phone number. I forgot my PayPal password after not using it for years. When I try to log in and click "Having trouble logging in," it asks for verification via a mobile number, which is incorrect on my account. I need to update my mobile number to proceed, but I can't log in to do that. Can you please update the mobile number on my account so I can reset my password securely? Thank you.

I've come across information that indicates you may soon begin charging fees for inactive accounts. I haven't used my PayPal account in years due to a past scam. Despite my efforts to close the account, it seems it's still open. Unfortunately, I can't remember the password, and the phone number associated with the account is outdated, preventing me from resetting it. To rectify this, my current contact number is [redacted]9. I recently received a letter addressed to Kye Griffiths at 32 Whiteway Close, St George, Bristol BS5 7QZ. The letter mentions possible account closure due to inactivity, but it does not provide an account number, only part of a registration. The email listed for contact purposes is tru********@hot********. Please note, Kye Griffiths no longer resides at this address since [redacted], and I have no means to reach him. I have been attempting to cancel my PayPal UK account linked to [redacted] for several months due to ongoing charges for subscriptions that I no longer use. Despite numerous efforts to access my account and update my information, I keep encountering an "Authentication required" message without being able to reach PayPal through their provided methods. This situation has prevented me from stopping unauthorized charges, including a recent payment to Mondly for CAD$59.99. The lack of communication channels and the difficulty in cancelling the account have left me feeling frustrated and concerned about the security of my financial information. I have two issues to address. Firstly, I received a refund on my PayPal account, but the money has not yet reflected on my credit card. Secondly, I have been attempting to make an overseas transfer, but the process keeps getting halted with an error message stating that I cannot proceed at the moment and to try again later. I have tried multiple times since yesterday without any success. I even attempted to call customer service but was informed they are unable to assist me currently. I am wondering if there are any ongoing technical issues with PayPal causing these problems.

I haven't used my PayPal account in years. Recently, I heard that PayPal will start charging for inactive accounts. I've been trying to cancel my account, but all my personal information like phone numbers is outdated, and I've forgotten my password. I received a letter on November 23, [redacted], about my inactive account. The email reference ending in "hot...." is wrong. I want to clarify that I still use PayPal regularly, but with a different email ending in "gmail.com." The "hot...." email has not been active because it was hacked. I am not pleased with the suggestion that I might be charged for having an inactive account.

I had a PayPal account while living in the UK with my email and phone number. Upon returning to Australia, I tried to create a new account for my online business, but PayPal won't accept my email. I forgot my original account's password and can't reset it because I can only verify via my old UK phone number. PayPal Australia can't help, directing me to the UK office, which I can't reach. It's frustrating not being able to talk to a human at PayPal UK. The system is chaotic, and I'm sure others have faced similar issues!

I am having a problem with a seller named Zulqar N. regarding a bread bin. He has offered a full refund if I return the glass bread bin, but mailing it back would be very expensive due to its weight. It would not make sense financially to send it back. I have already shared photos with him showing that the bin lid was not properly attached and it broke. Unfortunately, I do not have the funds to cover the return shipping. I am hoping to find a solution to this issue.

I recently received an email from PayPal notifying me of charges for inactivity on my account, which I haven't used in over 20 years. When I attempted to log in, my password was rejected, and the system prompted to send a text code to my outdated phone number for verification. Despite my efforts online, I keep getting redirected to the login page. Upon calling the customer service number provided, I was promised a callback that never happened. Subsequent attempts to reach a help desk resulted in being put on hold and then disconnected multiple times. This experience has been incredibly frustrating, and I am left wondering if there are any regulations in place for companies like PayPal under the Banking Ombudsman.

I noticed two transactions on my credit card statements. The first is from Paypal for £33.67 under the name MICHAELKODO. I reached out via email as I have not received the sunglasses I ordered. However, I have not received the sunglasses, a refund, or a reply to my email. The second transaction was on 13/3/[redacted] for £[redacted].00 from PAYPAL NEXTING. I have attempted to contact PAYPAL via email, but I couldn't register as the verification code provided was not accepted. Moreover, I tried calling both the USA and UK phone numbers, but the calls were disconnected. Any guidance on how to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated. Regards, S.C.
