Dear Sir/Madam, I received a check from my apartment and deposited it. Unfortunately, the issuer canceled the check, and now PNC Bank is charging me daily fees. They charged me $X twice, $Y three times, and $Z once. This situation is unfair as it was not my fault that the check was canceled. I am unable to pay these charges until next Monday. Could you advise me on how to resolve this issue in my account?

I recently received a notice stating that one of my accounts is inactive, but it actually receives monthly automated deposits. If the bank does not count these deposits as activity, and continues to send such letters, I may need to reconsider my banking relationship. Interestingly, my account containing $[redacted],[redacted] is flagged, while another account with only $3,[redacted] that has been inactive for years did not trigger a similar letter. This situation seems like an effort to push me towards meeting with a banker for investment opportunities, which I am not interested in pursuing. While I may not have millions deposited with PNC, my total balance of over $[redacted],[redacted] should still be recognized, yet currently, I do not feel valued as a customer.

I visited Sheetz on Paxton Street in Harrisburg, PA, to withdraw money using my Walmart Money card. I successfully withdrew $[redacted] in the first transaction, but during the second withdrawal, the machine stalled for around 20 to 30 seconds. Despite the machine appearing to dispense the cash, only $40 came out instead of the full amount. Upset, I approached the manager, who directed me to contact PNC for assistance. Despite trying to call the provided number, I was unable to get help. I also contacted the card issuer but have been given the runaround. As a hardworking individual with kids and responsibilities, I believe it's unfair to have money deducted without receiving proper support to recover it.

Dear all, I'm Nikoleta Yotsova, and four years ago, I participated in the Work and Travel Program in Cape May, New Jersey. During that time, I opened an account with PNC Bank, which I later closed before leaving the USA at the branch in Cape May, NJ. My account number was 80-5[redacted]. Recently, I was contacted by TrueAccord stating that I owe $[redacted].93, which has left me surprised and confused as I closed my PNC Bank account when I left the country. I'm no longer residing in Cape May, NJ, and I'm unsure why this debt has resurfaced. Can you please provide clarification on this matter?

Hello, my name is Skyler Blankenship. I previously had an account with your company for a settlement check from a car accident when I was under 18 years old. The check was deposited into the account with the agreement that it would remain there until I turned 18. However, I recently discovered the existence of this account and have had no access to it. When I called to inquire about the account, I provided my information to a lady on the phone, including my social security number. Despite having a statement with my name and account number, I was told they could not find any information about it. I am trying to determine what happened to the account with my money, why I am unable to obtain statements showing the balance, and if someone withdrew the funds or closed the account. The paperwork I received indicates there should be more than one copy, but I have been unable to locate them to get a better understanding of the situation.

My name is Brandal Ingram. I reside at [redacted] S. Smith, El Dorado AR [redacted]. My birthdate is 11/3/77, and the last four digits of my SSN are [redacted]. I have been interacting with PNC representatives for about three weeks now, and my patience is wearing thin. I sent $[redacted] to the bank in exchange for a $[redacted] loan, which I have not yet received. Attempting to communicate over the phone has been challenging. After informing a loan officer of my decision to cancel the loan and requesting a refund, I was assured it would be processed, but I have yet to receive my $[redacted] back. This experience has only added to my financial strain and left me feeling deceived and let down. If I do not see a refund by Monday, July 23, I will have to escalate this matter further.

I unintentionally incurred two overdraft fees. On 7-23-[redacted], a Venmo transfer for $[redacted].75 was meant to be instant but did not process until this morning, 7-24-[redacted]. I used my PNC account for purchases afterwards, unaware of the overdraft. After opening the Venmo app, the transfer went through prompting the overdraft fees. I am normally very diligent with my finances and have been a loyal PNC customer for over 6 years, having also referred family, friends, and even a business partner. I kindly request the removal of these overdraft fees to continue my relationship with PNC. If not, I will consider taking my business elsewhere. Your assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I am disappointed by the lack of empathy from your bank following my wife's passing. It seems that profit is your top priority. Despite this, I do not blame the individual employees as they are only a small part of the larger system. I have been a loyal customer for 11 years and have never missed a payment. Sadly, it appears that all banks operate in a similar manner, prioritizing financial gain over genuine care for their customers. The branch manager at the West Arlington branch in Greenville, N.C., has been particularly unhelpful. Please pass on to the higher-ups that I have responsibly managed my credit cards with your bank for years without incurring interest. My contact number is [redacted]. When calling, please ensure it is someone genuinely interested in assisting rather than scrutinizing my finances. It is disheartening that my personal circumstances, such as my wife's passing, seem insignificant to your institution as long as payments are made. - Ruel

I recently opened a PNC Virtual Wallet with Performance Spend Checking account on August 3rd, [redacted]. After receiving an email stating that my account would be available in online banking within 24-48 hours, I tried to set it up using my SSN, PIN, and account number. Unfortunately, my attempts were rejected, and I got locked out for trying too many times. I need assistance in resetting the counter so I can successfully create an online banking profile with PNC. I have not received my debit card yet, so I only have my account number and PIN.

I have been a customer of this bank for a while and had an unsettling experience today when trying to deposit a payroll check from my new job. The employee informed me that they couldn't cash the check or give me immediate access to the funds, even though my account is in good standing. This was surprising as I rarely deal with paper checks. The delay of 2 days seemed unreasonable, especially since it was a printed payroll check from a government organization. I felt frustrated by the situation and decided to go to the bank where the check was issued and had no trouble cashing it there. Consequently, I am considering finding a new bank for my future banking needs, using the current one only for essential transactions already scheduled for this month.

Hello, I have some inquiries about international travel. I will be traveling between Croatia, Germany, and Belgium from August 15 to 24. Croatia uses the Kuna and Euro currencies, while Germany and Belgium use the Euro. I will mainly be in Croatia with layovers in Germany and Belgium. I wanted to notify PNC about my upcoming international charges to avoid any mistaken account freezes due to unusual activity. Also, I am curious about using ATMs in these countries, including any associated fees and whether they dispense local currency or US dollars. Additionally, I would appreciate any advice on using my card in Europe and tips on obtaining cash while abroad. Thank you, Megan D.

I would like to bring attention to your support for the Charlotte, North Carolina pride festival. While it is great that your company backs the LGBT community, this year's emcee for Charlotte pride, Deana Pendragon, has a concerning history. Deana has made threats against transgender individuals and victims of sexual assault. Despite community outcry, Charlotte pride has chosen to keep Deana on as the emcee. As a sponsor, your voice carries weight. I encourage you to email Charlotte pride at [redacted] to express your concerns about Deana's participation. Thank you for considering this matter.

On Wednesday, I signed a $20.62 check from the state of NJ payable to myself and my husband. I instructed my husband not to sign it until he was at the bank. I provided him with my Debit Card as my ID, which has my name Anne M. Bauernhuber on it, along with his driver's license. When he tried to cash it, the teller asked about my presence. Even though I was in the hospital due to my ongoing cancer treatments, he was not allowed to cash the check without me physically there. Feeling upset, he left the bank and later, after my treatment, I tried to cash the same check at a different PNC branch in Whiting. However, they had the same policy. After feeling humiliated, I decided to go to the PNC branch in Manchester, 8 miles away, where I was treated nicely and had no issues cashing the check. Ultimately, our experience at the Whiting branch, where our account number is [redacted], was disappointing, especially considering our long-standing relationship with PNC Bank since [redacted].

I am looking to cancel my account due to unauthorized withdrawals, resulting in overdraft fees. Despite my efforts to stop the withdrawals, money continued to be debited from my account causing financial strain. I had placed a block on the account and find it unacceptable that funds were still withdrawn, leading to multiple overdrafts. This is the first time my account has faced overdrafts, and it is frustrating. I wish to close the account and will repay the owed amount within two weeks. I want to end this cycle of fees as I was on leave from work, affecting my financial situation. The priority was to prevent any further debits from the account.

I am aware of an employee at the Jacksonville PNC branch who is having an affair with a married woman and using their work email for personal communication, possibly during work hours. They even mentioned taking LOA to clear their cases and go on a vacation. I have evidence to support this claim. If this behavior is representative of how your bank operates, I am concerned for your future. You might want to review the actions of Aubrey W. closely, as she seems to be taking advantage of the situation. I can provide pictures of the incriminating emails, including time stamps and the contact details of the other party involved. The email exchanges took place on August 1 at around 9 am, originating from [redacted] Aubrey's work email is [redacted], and her phone number is [redacted] ext. [redacted]. This situation reflects poorly on your business, and I urge you to investigate. Thank you, Aimee.

I recently incurred an overdraft fee, assuming my account had sufficient funds. I've been more vigilant about monitoring my balance since having a previous fee waived. Yesterday, I made a payment of $[redacted] with $[redacted] in my account, ensuring there was enough money. Subsequently, I confirmed my balance remained positive. I planned to deposit some funds but postponed it due to fatigue after work, intending to do it the next day. At 3 am, I received an overdraft notification, which surprised me as I hadn't seen any pending transactions the day before. Furthermore, I believed PNC allowed until 10 pm on the day of the overdraft for customers to deposit funds. Feeling deceived, I would have promptly added money to my account had I been aware of the overdraft earlier. Everything seemed fine before I went to bed, leading to confusion. I appreciate any assistance with this issue.

At 10:46 pm last night, I noticed there was no overdraft in my account. Despite having pending transactions, there were enough funds to cover them, and my available balance was displayed correctly. To be safe for today's purchases, I transferred $[redacted] online to my checking account. However, this morning, PNC is showing an overdraft. I am puzzled because when I checked last night, the pending items were subtracted, and an instant transfer from savings added $[redacted], resulting in a positive balance of around $[redacted]. I am confused about how more charges posted after that point. The pending items from last night are still pending, and even after adding $[redacted] more via transfer, my balance shows a minus due to the overdraft fee. I don't understand how this overdraft happened when the pending items were already factored into the total balance at 10:46 pm. I kindly request a review to remove any overdraft fees. Thank you for your help with this issue.

Today, I tried to deposit cash into my account at the ATM located on [redacted] Buford Highway, GA, around 11:04 a.m. The ATM did not accept $22 in singles but at least $[redacted] was deposited. Unfortunately, I received an error message stating the transaction couldn't be completed, and the remaining money was not returned. I checked my online account but the money did not show up. Even after doing a balance inquiry at the same ATM, the funds were not there. As the bank is closed due to the holiday, I am unable to get any updates by phone. I have a receipt from the balance inquiry showing the attempted deposit, and I am very frustrated. As a waitress, I needed that money to pay my rent today. I am having trouble submitting this message on my account due to an error with a character used.

I want to express my appreciation for the exceptional service provided by someone at my local bank. This woman, Courtney Watson, Branch Sales, and Service Rep, displayed outstanding professionalism and attitude when I was in a very bad mood. I didn't receive a survey, so I am reaching out here to ensure she gets the recognition she deserves. Courtney's sincerity and caring nature truly stood out, and it's rare to come across such dedication in customer service. Her approach to handling my issue with grace and humor left me speechless. I usually don't go out of my way to commend someone, but Courtney's exceptional service has compelled me to do so. I've always recommended PNC, and now I will do so even more enthusiastically thanks to her. One person like Courtney can truly make a remarkable difference in the customer experience. Thank you for employing such a fantastic individual.
