I just wanted to share my experience with puppy playtime at the Stuart FL store today. I took my puppy and met with a young lady named Emily. At first it was very nice. My dog, a * month old Chorkie was the first one there and the second dog was a pom. They were playing very nicely and things were going well. A little while later, a lady came in with two pretty nice size bulldogs. Apparently, Emily knew the owner and made quite a fuss of the bulldogs which she called by name. As soon as they came in, my dog was afraid. He was cornered by the two bulldogs and didn't know what to do. To make a long story a bit shorter, at that time, Emily ask me to take my dog out. I was confused since it was the bulldogs causing the fuss, but I complied. I walked around the store a bit and then went back to the play area. I was still not allowed to put my puppy back in, but told to take him for a walk around the store. I don't think that was quite right. I will not be attending anymore playtimes, and although my main reason was to set up a training class for my puppy, needless to say....that won't be happening. I believe this situation was not handled correctly . I also wanted to mention that as Emily was leaving the play area to get some paperwork, my puppy of course tried to follow her. She pretty much shut the door and squeezed him in between, luckily not hurting him, but it could have been an injury if I had not immediately got him. Other people watching also commented and a lot of eyes widened as she shut the door on my puppy. This is just for your information so that this does not happen to another customer or puppy.
