Hello Orbitz team, I am currently traveling in South America with a US phone. I have been trying to cancel my flight online without success for the last week and a half. The app also did not work, showing a constant glitch message. Unfortunately, I am unable to call due to high charges while abroad. I attempted calling from the airport with no luck after a costly S/15 charge and long wait times due to high call volume. Additionally, the email addresses provided returned undeliverable messages. I am simply trying to cancel my flight and suggest fixing the technical issues on your end to help others avoid similar frustrations. Hello, I made flight reservations through Orbitz for American Airlines (Confirmation LXUVTY) and British Airways (Confirmation NXHOMM) in July [redacted]. We are trying to select seats for the long-haul flights. The Orbitz confirmation mentioned we could choose seats for a fee with the basic economy fare. We managed to select seats for the LHR to JFK flight on 7/17/[redacted] but are struggling to do the same for the BOS to MAD flight on 7/9/[redacted]. After being redirected by American Airlines to British Airways, and then to Iberia with no response, we hope you can assist us in acquiring seating as stated in the fare details. Thank you.

I made a reservation at Hilton for 4 nights through Orbitz with itinerary #[redacted][redacted] from May 30 to Jun 3. Unfortunately, my JetBlue flight to Newark, #[redacted], was delayed for over 5 hours until 10:00 PM. I contacted Orbitz from the airport at 7:00 PM to explain that I couldn't board the flight and tried to get on the next morning's flight, but it was fully booked. I had to cancel both the flight and the hotel stay. Orbitz assured me that they would handle it, but I haven't received a response yet. I've used Orbitz in the past and have always been satisfied with their service, but it's now Monday morning (June 3) and there's still no resolution. Given that my husband and I are both 88 years old, arriving in Newark after 1:00 AM wasn't feasible because the airport was closed due to severe weather. I have a flight scheduled for 06/12 with Itinerary # [redacted][redacted] and DELTA Confirmation # F8 DOFM. I initially booked Premium Economy but encountered some issues. The RDU Delta [redacted] flight didn't show any Premium Economy seats, so I had to choose main cabin seats. I'm looking for options for PE seating on an earlier or later flight. For the JFK to London and London to Boston flights, I noticed they're labeled as "Economy Delight." I want to know if this is the same as Premium Economy or Delta Comfort. Furthermore, I couldn't secure a window seat on the London to Boston flight. I'm wondering if there's a way to get a window seat or select a later flight for guaranteed Premium Economy seating and a window assignment. Any assistance from Orbitz would be greatly appreciated.

I had a terrible experience at a hotel recently. The lady at the front desk was rude right from the start. Even though I waited patiently, another guest's impatience led to a confrontation. The lady couldn’t find my reservation and made me wait, unsure if a room would even be available. After a long journey, all I needed was rest and a shower. When I asked about the room, she rudely told me to wait longer and eventually suggested canceling. I contacted Orbitz for a refund, but after several days, I have not received any update. I am deeply disappointed with the poor treatment and lack of resolution.

I purchased a round-trip ticket from Orbitz, flying from Seattle to Fairbanks on June 11 and returning on the 18th. Once in Fairbanks, I took a charter flight with Everts Air to Kavik River Camp in Alaska, where I am currently located, [redacted] miles above the Arctic Circle. Due to heavy fog with poor visibility and a ceiling of less than [redacted] feet, I am unable to make my scheduled return flight on the 18th. I have insurance to cover situations like this, but I am unable to call due to the weather knocking out the camp's phone. I need assistance to change my return flight from the 18th to the 19th. I had a reservation at Kubu Guest House, but upon arrival, the hotel claimed it did not exist and demanded an extra $15 per day. My reservation number is [redacted][redacted]. I'm Carmen P., and I checked in on 6/22. The owner asked me to cancel with you and pay more. I only spent 10 minutes in the room before being informed my reservation was invalid. I did not use any amenities and was asked to leave. Please assist in refunding me as the hotel claimed they do not work with Orbitz despite my booking through your platform. I received an email from Orbitz regarding a 50% off members price for hotels. I attempted to book at the Innside by Meliá in Bremen, Germany but did not receive the discount. After a frustrating 2-hour phone call with customer service, the promotion was not honored. This experience with Orbitz was disappointing as a loyal customer. Despite contacting customer service, no resolution was provided. I am still interested in booking a bundle package with flight and hotel, preferring the Innside in Bremen, Germany. My travel dates are from Boston, Massachusetts to Bremen, Germany departing on 7/20 and returning on 8/3. I spent hours trying to reach Orbitz over the phone with no success, but finally got through via chat. The flight with Itinerary # [redacted][redacted] on August 30 was canceled on June 16, [redacted]. The flights were as follows: - easyJet Flight [redacted] from London LGW to Athens ATH on Aug 30 at 5:45 AM. - Eurowings Flight [redacted] from Athens ATH to CGN on Sep 3 at 10:30 AM. - Eurowings Flight [redacted] from CGN to LHR on Sep 3 at 1:30 PM. Orbitz reminded me to unsubscribe on Jun 14, [redacted], and confirmed my reservation for Athens on Aug 30, [redacted], to Sep 3, [redacted]. They also offered a discount on Athens hotels. They emphasized that my itinerary consists of two one-way fares with individual rules and restrictions. They advised completing online check-in and pre-purchasing extras to avoid additional fees. Note that any changes to or cancellations of low-cost airline bookings must be done directly with the airline. Ensure you have the required documentation for international travel, and contact the airline for any specific requests such as seat assignments or special meals.

My grandson booked a flight for Eric Wilson and Kathleen Alberto on May 1, [redacted], using my credit card. They quickly canceled the flight and received an Orbitz notification for the Wilmington to San Francisco route. Even after cancellation, charges totaling $[redacted].50 twice for the flight, and an additional $13.77 fee from Orbitz, were debited from my Chase United Visa card. Due to a recent back procedure, I have not been able to address this issue promptly. I have waited for over a month to see if a refund would be processed but have not received one. I had a terrible travel experience through Orbitz with travel number [redacted][redacted]. A flight delay caused me to miss my fully paid tour of Ireland and despite multiple attempts, I couldn’t get help from Orbitz or the airlines. I had to buy another ticket at my own cost to avoid missing out on my trip, spending over $[redacted]. Orbitz only assisted in arranging a room at the end. I then faced issues with a dishonest taxi and being charged for a cancelled hotel. I need Orbitz to fully resolve this situation, provide refunds, and compensation. I want all the documentation reviewed and sent via email for resolution. My sister, a travel agent, will ensure this matter is properly handled. I encountered an issue with the individual I spoke with while attempting to change room arrangements. They instructed me to cancel the reservation and acquire a Google Play card. After purchasing one, I was informed it was invalid and had to obtain another. They promised a refund from the initial card and reservation. The first reservation cost $[redacted], the first card $[redacted], and the second $[redacted]. Supposedly, the funds should have been back in my account by 8pm yesterday. Before taking this matter further, I want to address it privately. The person responsible for this deception was named Victor.

I have been scammed by Orbitz. The scammer took $[redacted] from me promising a hotel room upgrade. Following the scammer's instructions, I purchased a $[redacted] Google Play card for a discounted price. However, when I attempted to redeem it, I was told it was not valid and needed to buy another card for $[redacted]. Suspicious, I reached out to Orbitz customer service and spoke with Victor who gave me another number to call. I confirmed my original reservation for July 10 with the hotel, but they had no record of any changes. Feeling deceived, I am determined to expose Orbitz for their dishonest practices and demand a refund of $[redacted].

I noticed that your website initially quoted me a price of $[redacted] total ($48 per day) for a premium car rental from 7/12 to 7/16 with Enterprise. However, when I proceeded to book, the price suddenly increased to $[redacted]. The message stated that the price had gone up without a clear explanation. Even after searching for cheaper options, the prices remained inaccurate. This bait-and-switch tactic is misleading. I would like to share a recent experience we had at Newbury guest house. Upon arrival for our weekend booking, we encountered some challenges with the stairs leading to the property, making it difficult for me to navigate due to mobility issues. Despite this, we approached the check-in desk, hoping to settle in. The staff response was less than accommodating regarding the check-in time and the lack of available rooms.
