Booked a reservation for flight and hotel. Hotel turned out to be a piece of **** and not what was showed on photos on the website. Called yesterday to get another hotel and wasted over an hour because I was only told at the end that I would have to pay the difference of whatever hotel I was moved to. Should have been a complimentary exchange. But they did credit the amount of the hotel. My problem now is I paid over $**** for this trip and $*** dollars was refunded...meaning that we paid $*** dollars for airfare that made us travel all day the day of arrival an we will be traveling all day on our return as well. Before booking this package I researched plenty of lights that were a lot less in price and less travel time as well. Because we spent all day traveling on the *th (arrival date) and will spend all day traveling on the **th (return date) not only are we staying in a terrible hotel, but we pretty much miss * days of vacation just from travel. It’s not fair and I feel like I got a very bad deal and it needs to be fixed. The amount I spent was not worth it at all, and this will probably be the last time I book through you.
I trust that Orbitz will make this right and come up with a resolution that is fair.
