Hi, I changed from telstra to optus to get wifi calling on thursday.... this has taken over six weeks, different optus stores*phone calls to optus all telling me different things, as no one seems to know much about it! To start with I was sold a prepaid, even though I was sure I would have to have a plan. So * weeks later I now have a plan and still no wifi calling. Have been back into store, settings all good, wifi etc all turned on, told to go home and turn it off*on again. Still no wifi calling. I can use data at home on mobile from wifi but no calls. Phone is samsung * edge and compatible. Also told would receive message for spotify, national geographic, have not received one. I am also not receiving any calls*texts sent to me(when out of range) until hours after I am back in range. I stressed to at least three of the people I spoke to while enquiring about plan etc that I was not signing up to a plan if I could not access the wifi calling and was reassured no problem. This is affecting me getting messages for work. I am also a *** km round trip to the nearest optus store. Was also told ** hour help*contact and have been unable to contact anyone by phone since. Does wifi calling and volte need to be activated your end? This is past frustrating. Thankyou. mobile no. ********** and is an optus phone. Was considering changing home*internet etc over but will wait and see mobile first.
