Have been with optimum about ** yrs. My daughter lives downstairs in my house. Til now I have been paying for optimum. Phone,internet,TV*We have now separated her usage and mine. She called Optimum and had this done. I then called optimum to discontinue any extras that were on my account that she had added. I have the premium pkg and wanted to see if they had a less expensive package. They have a basic package and I asked their agent if I tried it and wanted to change back, how would I do this. She said a phone call would change it back. Tried it, did not like it and within an hour called to change back. Now I was told that I could not go back at the same rate I was paying an hour ago,but would be billed at a higher rate now. Had I been advised of this situation I probably would not have changed. I have a call in for a manager. Considering I was not advised about the change in my rate and that I am ** and there is a pandemic going on I think they are being completely unreasonable. How do I fight this?
