I wanted to pay my bill by phone today but was told that because I lost my access code, which customer service was prohibited from giving me (!), I would be charged a $**.** ‘ convenience fee’ !*I also did a maddeningly frustrating Live Text Chat with a RoBo-Rep , who told me I needed * **-digit codes from the white label on my Modem before she could access my account information* including my access code! *Optimum’s telephone customer service *****! & is not user-friendly & does not offer any prompt for ‘Other’ queries involving things like issues with access code or, general complaints . *Sprint, UI, The Hartford , and Amazon. which are my other monthly service providers all offer accessible telephone & online customer service * particularly now, when many people are struggling with the CoVid ** economy and need extra TLC with Bill- payment options.*I am contacting both the FCC and my State Attorney General’s office to register a complaint on behalf of those thousands of Optimum customers in the Tri-State area who are disgruntled with Optimum all across the board, but particularly with their customer service !*If you could help me make direct contact with their executive office, I would greatly appreciate it!*Pissed Off in Bridgeport,* Jodi Ann Strmiska
