Several months ago I upgraded to * gig internet. The technician replaced my modem with the Ebee **** which is a combination of a modern and router. I already had state of the arts router (Netgear RAX ***). After much research I learned that it is possible to use my router if **ptimum does the right. All my requests are possible without a techs visit*I am requesting that the Ebee **** be placed in bridge mode which will turn off the Ebee **** WiFi function. I can then connect my RAX *** router to port one of the Ebee **** *Most of the time **ptimum requires a tech visit but I know it is not necessary I know this request will have be elevated to at least a level * tech and I believe not all level * techs know how to do this.*Please let me know if you can accommodate me.
