I was deliberately an out front lied to about four or five days ago. She stated that she set everything up and I should see my speed increased on my Internet from *** to *** in about ** minutes. I waited about three days and still no change. So I contacted customer service and explain the situation to them. This happens to actually be the second time that optimum blatantly lied to me, had to escalate the case, and reviewed the phone conversation recording between me and that agent. Yet I received a voicemail this morning from a supervisor at optimum stating that *** speed is not available in our area and they will make sure to speak with the agent. That is not good enough, optimum violated and illegally falsely advertised and promoted and promised a service to me which Caused me to order a brand new modem and router to handle better higher speeds. And now they just leave me a voice message saying they are sorry but will speak to the person? How does that help me. This is now the second investigation I have had and have Proving that I was blatantly lied to. The first time the manager that took over the escalation simply just applied what the original agent lied about to my account. Which is what is supposed to happen. This manager is saying sorry we will talk to the agent. You just broke the law optimum and you are not going to just speak to an agent and think that is going to make it better
