I am frustrated with Doorfront Direct. I have contacted them to request that my magazines be placed in my mailbox, but they continue to be left at the bottom of my driveway, causing damage. The latest issue had a broken spine and wet pages from the sprinklers. Living on a busy parkway makes it seem like the delivery person simply tosses the magazine out while driving by. The plastic cover often gets torn off, causing further damage. Despite my online request for mailbox delivery, the situation has not improved. I advise caution when using Doorfront Direct for your magazine deliveries. Thank you, Heidi H.

Hello, my name is Demetrius W. I am grateful to be here today, but times are tough for me and my family. I wish I had a good job to support them. I filed for bankruptcy hoping it would help, but it only left me in a difficult situation. I have been praying for assistance, as I don't know what else to do. I was disappointed with the materialistic tone and numerous drug ads in the December issue of Oprah Magazine. It felt distasteful and not aligned with my values. Despite the redeeming interview with Michelle Obama, the overall focus on wealth doesn't resonate with me. I have decided to cancel my subscription to avoid this type of content in the future. I'm currently trying to manage my finances while searching for a larger home for my growing family. My husband is a paraplegic, and with three children (aged 13, 10, and 16 months) and my in-laws also needing space, finding a suitable house in our area has been a real challenge. The constant expenses make saving for a house seem impossible. I realize that a one-bedroom won't suffice for all of us. On another note, I would like to cancel my subscription to Oprah's magazine. I recently subscribed to the O magazine through a Facebook promotion. Although I made a payment one day late, I informed them via email and paid it on time. I noticed the payment didn't go through, so I made another payment the next day. However, I haven't seen any transaction in my checking account for either payment I made. The first payment was on 11/28/18 at 9:54 pm (Colorado time) and the second payment was on 11/30/18 around 11:30 pm. I'm eager to resolve this as it's my first time subscribing to The O magazine, as I'm a huge fan of Lady O. My condolences go out to Lady O for the loss of her mother. Dear Forum Members, I wanted to share my recent experience with renewing my Oprah magazine subscription. I just paid $9.99 with my credit card for a renewal that includes 2 gift subscriptions. Although the renewal stated my subscription would expire on 12/18, I discovered that I had already sent a check for over $15 for a 2-year subscription back on 7/30/[redacted]. It's puzzling why I received a renewal offer a year later when my original subscription was supposed to last until July [redacted]. I entered a sweepstakes in the magazine, leading to a $10 subscription offer, which I did not need due to already receiving the magazine. Consequently, I haven't paid the $10 and keep receiving payment requests. A similar situation occurred in the past, resulting in duplicate magazines. Despite efforts, I was unable to resolve it. This issue seems to be a recurring challenge within an otherwise reputable company. Previously, I had to cancel everything to stop duplicate magazines, going without for a year. Yesterday, I reached out to your Customer Service department about a gift subscription issue. The first representative, Chris, had a dismissive attitude and abruptly ended the call. The second person I spoke with was more understanding and tried to fix the problem. I have been purchasing gift subscriptions for my daughter for years, and each time I face hurdles and continue to receive payment reminders even after I have paid in full. Despite assurances from your customer service that the issue is resolved annually, the problems persist. I am deeply disappointed with your magazine and am hesitant to place another gift order. Experiencing a hang-up during a call was unprofessional. I have shared my negative encounters with others. I hope the second representative I spoke to can make the necessary adjustments so my daughter can receive the magazines I have paid for. Improving customer service is essential.

I received an extra O magazine after signing up for a sweepstakes, which I didn't want. Now, I'm being invoiced for it and receiving payment reminders for a magazine I never intended to subscribe to. A similar situation occurred years ago, and I had to cancel everything to resolve it. I believe magazines should not be automatically gifted if a person engages in other activities like contests. Solving this problem has been challenging, and getting assistance is not easy. It's easier to connect with a human for support. If this continues, I may have to cancel all my O magazine subscriptions, despite my appreciation for them. Resolving these issues has been time-consuming and frustrating.

I urge them to donate to charitable causes rather than indulge in luxury items. I am frustrated with the lack of action from those in power to address these issues.
